But that was before I came across Dr. Stephen Poulos at AllPure Behavioral Health in February 2024. Now, almost a year into my recovery journey, I can confidently say that meeting Dr. Poulos changed my life. Dr. Poulos isn't just a doctor; he's a beacon of hope. From the very beginning, he didn't just treat my addiction--he treated me. Every single visit, he took the time to ask how I was truly feeling, how my cravings were, and adjusted my treatment plan based on what my body and mind needed. That level of care and attentiveness is so rare, and it has made all the difference in my recovery. When I started, I was on 16mg of Suboxone. With Dr. Poulos's careful guidance, we've gradually tapered down to 1mg a day with a slow and steady plan to continue. He never rushed me or pushed me beyond what I was ready for. Instead, he gave me the tools and the belief that I could reclaim my life. Thanks to Dr. Poulos, I've broken free from the chains of addiction. I feel genuinely happy, hopeful, and inspired--something I never thought was possible. I'll forever be grateful for his guidance, compassion, and unwavering belief in my ability to recover. If you feel like there's no way out, I urge you to seek help and take that first step. Dr. Poulos helped me when I thought no one could, and I hope my journey can inspire others the way he has inspired me. Thank you, Dr. Stephen Poulos--you've given me a second chance at life.

I'm sure the rest of the providers all have the same value system as Dr. Polous. God definitely intended for him to be a psychiatrist. He has helped me in ways. I cannot even begin to describe!!! it would never fit! If you have a family member struggling, I would say definitely book with AllPure, I'm in Miami and went through numerous people, who weren't nearly as nice, or as good as him clinically. High recommendation. God bless all of you , thanks Dr. Polous for everything!!!!

I was told I could smoke medical Marijuana then on my 4th or 5th treatment out of 6, was told it may affect the results. I was also told a therapist is extremely helpful (4th or 5th treatment). The last treatment, I was told Magnesium would help the treatments. I super wish I would have been told this in case it would have helped the treatment work for me. I was so highly relying on this, my fault, and it actually made me feel worse. It helps some and not all, just wanted to share my experience.

My grief did not go away, bc that is just not how grief affects us, but while using the Ketamine Treatments, I felt somehow closer to my loved one whom passed on... Ketamine gave me the will to push through my emotions, even as painful as they were... I feel, so many times in life, society expects you to accept the death, take a day or two, and then just tuck away your pain inside. And we now know that grief affects your mental and physical health. For me, the Ketamine gave me an allowance to grieve when I need it most. It allowed me to cry and reflect. I still have once treatment to do, but even the last once, I felt like it had helped me work through some intense feelings... Therapy never worked for me. I don't have issues telling someone what I have done, what I need to do, and knowing the steps to take to achieve therapeutic results... but counseling never gave me what I needed, and I've tried various medications, that never worked either, including making my habits worse through medicated assistance. I will never be "cured" of grief... but I feel the Ketamine helps me explore what I know is already inside of me. I can speak to many other people, but if that doesn't click for me specifically, then speaking of the same thing over and over, is useless.. nobody can get me through my issues.... Nobody except for me and my relationship to myself... If anyone is curious about the ketamine treatment, go to My Self Wellness in Bonita Springs, Florida... Also, if you would like to reach out to me to ask any questions, feel free to contact My Self Wellness and leave your phone #, and I could give you some insight on my experience, if that would be something you would like to reach out to hear more about my experience with these Ketamine treatments. Thanks Kandra Hanchar Helping others through their grief, allows me to heal through mine, and it is never a bother. Take Care of Yourself!!

To say that she was unprofessional and rude would be a massive understatement. We had two appointments booked and received an email in the morning that both had been cancelled. Calling the office is pointless, as it just leads to a voicemail that goes unanswered. Same thing with their chat function. So after booking new ones for next week, I receive notifications that they are back on for today. Once I arrived, Gina took it upon herself to rudely inform me that she knows nothing about each of my kids since I didn't submit an intake form and that's why she cancelled us, even though both were submitted. She then rudely told me that she was unhappy with me for not answering her call this morning. I have five outbound calls and zero inbound. When I let her know that I was unhappy about the confusion around the cancellations and not being able to reach the office, she said that none of these things were her problem and she can only take care of her own issues, whatever that is supposed to mean. To make things worse after all of this, she decided to openly discuss my 16 year old son and his "diagnosis" (which seems completely unlikely but that's a whole other issue) in front of his 13 year old sister, with no regard for his privacy. I let her know that she is rude and has no sense of customer service. I also told her that she acted unethically by discussing my son's "diagnosis" with other members of the family, without even considering whether he would want that. She repeatedly stated that no one has ever had a problem with her or her service, which from reading these reviews is obviously false. I will never do business with this practice again, and if this quack stays employed there, I'd highly recommend no else does either.

My experience was first that they don't have their act together administratively: did not return my first message left by phone (and they almost never pick up the phone anyway), have never responded to email, and when I finally did get scheduled for an initial appointment, they had me with the wrong doctor (I was seeking ketamine treatment; they put me under medication management), which resulted in a 2 week delay in getting in. The initial consultation itself, though, is why I have to recommend against this practice and is why I didn't pursue treatment through them myself. The meeting started out with Dr. Pollack grilling me about drug use as if I was just looking for an easy/legal high (quite frankly, the price of ketamine therapy being what it is, that's just ludicrous). He then went on to spout outdated and verifiably false information about marijuana and other drugs (e.g. he seems to be blissfully unaware of the latest psychiatric research into psychedelics and insinuated that cannabis could cause cancer), and then pushed a $200 brain-wave scanning test on me to ostensibly determine whether ketamine or TMS therapy would be better for me. I never received the results of this test. My biggest takeaway beyond these details was that I felt a distinct lack of empathy - or even sympathy - from Dr. Pollack, and for a treatment like ketamine where set and setting are incredibly important, I couldn't see him being able to adequately provide treatment. I did find treatment out of town with a much more competent and compassionate doctor, and that experience made me even more glad for my decision not to be treated at PASWFL.

They NEVER answer the phone. I have watched the front desk girl Katie eat scrambled eggs at the front desk and watch Friends on her phone while ignoring the ringing office phone. I mentioned the issue to the NP and she gave me contact information for her personal phone, email, and the direct line to the front desk etc. Still, no one answered. This office is supposed to be for people who have mental health issues. HOW can you provide care for these people without ANSWERING THE PHONE?? What a shame! There is always an excuse for not answering the phone, or responding. I have never been seen any time near my scheduled time. It has been at least 40 minutes to 1 hour after my scheduled time. Every single appointment. EXTREMELY disappointed and will be taking my care elsewhere.

They didn't even have my paperwork at the office and/or he didn't even read my paper work(he didn't even know if it was there), he didn't bother discussing my memory loss , and he didn't believe in drug holidays. I had high hopes, but unfortunately they were knocked down by a rude MD that definitely needs to go back for classes.
