Cartload of meat for the Elites

There is a wonderful new Korean BBQ that has opened up in Vista. Everyone watch out for 2 in 1 Korean BBQ. Thank you to Audrey for having us at such a great event. It was truly one of the best times I have had! So much fun. The food was delicious. My favorite was the pork belly. I enjoyed it wrapped in rice paper with the delicious spicy green onions. It was such a treat and I loved everything. The staff worked hard and it's not easy catering to so many Elites at one time. You guys did an amazing job! Thank you for great food and a fun evening!

What a unique Yelp event, and I mean I've been to too many to count now, but never at an AYCE Korean bbq restaurant. Definitely a fun event and you get to intimately meet 3 other yelpers. Tables were set to 4. The first round was predetermine meats, beef brisket, beef belly, and bulgogi. The beef round was really good. The sides were plentiful and the banchan were really good. I enjoyed the kimchi too, normally I don't, but it was good. Our second round we got all the pork's. Garlic pork belly, regular pork belly, spicy pork bulgogi, and regular pork bulgogi. We messed up and didn't get the thinly sliced pork belly. We also got some steam eggs, corn cheese, and dumplings. But everything was amazing. Loved it all. Definitely coming back here with the family to try their premium menu. Some offerings look good that we weren't able to try. Unique and fun event thanks to 2n1 Korean BBQ and Yelp for the experience!

I was one of the lucky 50 Yelp Elites who got to attend this AYCE Korean BBQ experience. 2n1 Korean BBQ has 2 locations, the original in the Temecula Promenade and the new location where we had our event opened a few months ago in Vista Village. The concept is like other Korean BBQ restaurants where you have two hours to eat your heart out. We had quite a feast! For the first round of meats, the restaurant showcased their pork belly, beef Bulgogi, and brisket. They brought out a wide assortment of banchan that included salad, pickled radish, pickled cucumbers, macaroni salad, kimchi, japchae, green onion salad, thin raddish wraps, and fish cake. For the subsequent rounds, we were free to order anything from the menu. Our table of four added spicy pork belly, spicy beef bulgogi, spicy sweet & sour fried chicken. For the sides, we ordered the cheese corn, potstickers, ramen, tofu soup, steamed egg, kimchi pancake, sweet potato, and rice. This was a lot of food snd we were stuffed! We wanted to try the many different types of meats, but knew we couldn't eat them all. It would've been nice if there's an option for sample meat platters with a few pieces of each meat. This would be a great way to showcase the menu and cut down food waste. While there's a rule of $10 per plate of leftovers, it's still wasteful. The staff was very attentive and made sure our dirty grills were swapped out with clean ones, so we experienced no interruptions during our grand feast. To wash down all this delicious food, there were flavored soju. I had a mix of strawberry and passion fruit. Normally soju has a very strong taste. If I didn't know any better, I would've gulped it down like soda! This was one of my favorite Yelp Elite events, definitely the mist generous! Many thanks to the owners of 2n1 Korean BBQ and their staff for hosting our group! Thank you Audrey and the Yelp crew for organizing this awesome event!

Thank you to the 2N1 owners and staff, Yelp, Audrey and Kaitlyn for a great sit down Yelp Elite meal experience. Please enjoy my photos and look for some posts on instagram. I love Korean BBQ but don't get to try it very often so I was happy to get to be 1 of 50 select Yelpers to try this new restaurant. It was a little surreal sitting in there knowing what it used to look like, being a Panera for so many years. I definitely like what you did with the place. The dark and grey colors and solid looking decor feel very welcoming, but also fun with all the TVs, lights, and other various illuminated signs. There were also signs talking about their history, the journey, the food, etc. The place was spotless and ready for us to dive in. We were treated to a wonderful experience trying pretty much everything on the lunch menu. Right away we were treated to a Soju cocktail drink, the flavors were Mango, Strawberry, and 1 other kind (maybe passion fruit). I tried a sip of the Strawberry - it was tasty and not overpowering. The tables were loaded with all kinds of ingredients including salads, kimchi, noodles, macaroni salad, and so much more. There were also dipping sauces kind of like a sweet and savory experience, and some salt to sprinkle on the meats while they were cooking. The sides started flowing pretty quickly with some great recommendations from the staff. The corn cheese, and the dumplings were 2 of my favorites. I also liked the sesame ball dessert, and the rice cakes (but I was the only one at my table of 4 that liked the rice cakes). We also tried the steamed egg, some onions, pineapple, mushrooms and sweet potatoes. There were some soups but I did not try that. We got to try bulgogi, chicken breast, pork belly, beef brisket, and beef belly. Someone ordered too much and gave us some of their spicy bulgogi, but that put us over the top, that was just too much food. The meal was fantastic. Definitely all you can eat. So come hungry to get your moneys worth. The quality of the meat and ingredients was very good. Definitely a top notch experience, with every person on the staff smiling, helpful, answering questions, and in a non stop parade of food coming and going. It was a great to have one so close and get to try it out. Now I have a good spot to take family and friends who come to visit. Thank you very much. I hope that you will have plenty of customers trying out the wonderful dining experience and quality food.

Such an amazing and generous event hosted by yelp. Everything was absolutely magnificent and i couldnt be more grateful to be apart of such an amazing community. Staff was so kind as well, definitely a memorable experience.

My family loves Korean BBQ and are always excited to go and try new places. However, this was my first time. Let me tell you, what a great experience! From the moment we walked in I felt welcome, the staff were friendly, smiling, great sense of humor and there to answer any questions we had. The food was amazing, from the sides to the meats everything was fresh and well seasoned. Loved the variety they have, so much to choose from (everything from salads to hot sides). It is so much fun snacking on the sides while cooking your meats on the grill. It is perfect too because you get to cook everything how you like it. The cheesy corn was tasty as was the cheesy egg (mixed perfect with the rice and meat). I got white rice so I could mix in some of the sauces and various meats and veggies but there was also a kimchi rice available which I heard was great. We e had the lunch option and there was no shortage of food for sure, we actually ran out of room on the table! Dinner options are a bit more but include more meats. Hard to imagine because lunch includes so much. All options are reasonably priced as well. Each table sat 4 where we were so it was a great opportunity for me to meet some new people. There is plenty of seating inside and the space is nice and open (well ventilated for sure with all of the grills especially) and location is great, not far from the freeway and easy to get to. Food brings people together and 2n1did exactly that! I know they just opened and for having all of us there at once and being brand new the staff was flawless, like a well-oiled machine. Cannot wait to take the family. Thank you 2n1 Korean BBQ, Audrey, and Yelp for hosting us and an overall one of a kind, amazing event!!! What a great way to start the week with good food and new friends.

oh wow oh wow oh wow!!! KBBQ! was a super special treat! after bearing the northbound traffic I finally made it! my amazing table was waiting for me to begin. i sat back and let them make all the decisions and do all the cooking while I sampled tasty food. I hit the wall quite fast! i really wanted to eat more but sadly i was done. Thank you soooo very much to 2n1 and to Audrey. Although I don't have the capacity to come back I will definitely send my husband and son! they will love this.

Such a good time!! I really loved the lunch menu that they offered!! I'm gonna have to come back for the dinner menu for the steaks!!! I always love the cheese corn, if you haven't tried that always get it at every Korean BBQ. Thank you for the onion salad, it's more something you add to the meat for extra flavor for me, rather than eating alone. I really loved this event and the people at my table were super inviting and loving, this made it even better. Thank you Carmen, Keith, and Natalia. We had a time, that's for sure. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, everyone was very nice, thank you again!!!

I love to be the first person to review as usual! I am loving everything I am seeing in the table, this is going to be epic! Well, it was really epic! So much variety of appetizers and meats in a communal setting of 4 at each table. I loved it so much, I enjoyed the fact that was an early dinner as I ate so much I then needed some hours to rest and not eat anymore! I loved the ramen broth a lot as well as the meats and my least favorite thing was the egg dish that was kind of watery (but I guess this is the way it is). Service was stellar, they treated us promptly and very courteous. Thanks so much Yelp and 2n1 for this fabulous generous treat. Btw, we asked by 2n1 as we understood it was 2+1 and we didn't get it. So one of the waitress told us that was referring to 21 days that certain meat needs to be cured. Interesting. Good luck to this new culinary venture in Vista!

Thanks a bunch Audrey for hosting having us at such a great event What an evening with wonderful YelpFam with whom I had a spectacular evening. The food is fresh, flavorful, and plentiful--from the wide variety of meats to the delicious sides. Our table tried Corn cheese, fish cake, pickles, cheese egg, cucumber and kimchi rice. We were offered from lunch menu and looks like dinner includes even more meat options. Despite the generous portions, prices remain reasonable. My favorites, spicy pork, The brisket and beef belly. Service we so prompt and there were quick in swapping the grill and serving. The atmosphere was vie and restaurant is clean, spacious, and well-ventilated--perfect for grilling at the table. We sat in groups of 4 and It was a great chance to meet old friends and new people. Once again, A big thanks to Audrey for organizing such a fun and flawless event. I can't wait to return with my family!

One of my favorite Yelp elite events yet!! All Yelp elites sat together at one side of the restaurant so it felt intimate and like we could get to know our fellow Yelp elite friends! This was an AYCE experience and the food did not disappoint. I especially loved the brisket and beef belly, and the numerous amount of sides they offer. The tofu soup was amazing along with the corn cheese and steamed egg. They had every side you could think of and service was so quick! The servers were so nice and helped us with the menu. They brought out our meat and sides so fast, we definitely got full! The restaurant itself is super clean and I love that the ventilation is so good so you don't sit in smoke the whole time you are eating. Thank you so much to Audrey for this fun event!

I enjoy small scale sit down Yelp events and this one was just perfect. 50 of us lucky Elites got to visit and have an early dinner/late lunch at new Korean bbq 2N1. This restaurant was just recently opened and its looks and feels very clean and polished with minimalistic design. The wait staff was helpful to navigate the menu and made suggestions on the side dishes. It is indeed an interactive cooking experience and also an ice-breaker in a social setting when you sit with people you have not met before. I shared a table with 3 other Yelpers and we all had fun cooking the meats and trying different sides. My favorites were the cheese corn, salads and all of the fermented vegetables. All the proteins we cooked were delicious and well marinated. Thank you to Audrey, the Yelp team and 2N1 Korean bbq for this amazing dinning experience.

The business was located in a suite next door to a gelato shop, both of which were in this random industrial park. I wonder with its remote location, how much customer traffic it can generate from beyond the neighbors in this complex? Anyway, a bonus was that parking was super easy. Upon entering and checking in with the cashier to mark my name off the magic list, she informed me that each of us had a $15 credit to select anything off the menu. I really loved the flexibility of this offer as it opened up the possibilities. Normally, an Elite promotion is for one or two specified items. The offerings were obviously heavy on chicken, however I noticed some non-chicken grub like crispy shrimp, Filipino spaghetti, a veggie egg roll, and even Belgian waffles. My picks were the two middle entries out of the six in the Specialties section... Chicken & Waffles and Chicken Curry. They conveniently added up to $14.95. The first container had four mini waffles combined with around a dozen pieces of chicken nuggets. A self-service condiments station was available that provided ketchup and four different sauces with clearly marked signage of each name and flavor profile. I used the Golden Chicken Dip for the nuggets to add a sweet and smoky enhancement to the bits of white meat. The second bowl had white rice as a base with chicken, broccoli, and carrots in a curry sauce that was mild in heat and spices. Two slices of yellow pickled daikon (takuan) were included on the side. The mix made for a nice savory snack. Thank you to the owners and staff at Surf Up Chicken for introducing a group of Elites to your eatery. The combination of Asian fusion and Southern-style flavors was unique. Thanks also to Audrey and Yelp North County San Diego for identifying a new local, family-run business to host an Elite Week Event.

Ok, in for it anyway. Andy & Tanya met us inside, and we filled out the waivers. We waited around for our groups, and the Wall Guys got us set up with shoes. I recommend that if you are going to be doing a lot of climbing, invest in shoes. Rental shoes aren't the most comfortable, especially if you have flat feet like I do. We had a fun time getting warmed up on the kiddie/party wall. (Actually, quite a few of us did most of our climbing there, taking it easy.) We learned how to fall properly, and the basics of handholds and paths. We took a break to get some dinner from California Braise, who had Yelp specials for us. Andy and Lauren, you did it again! This was another really amazing IYE full of good company! I…read morealways love coming to the California Center for the Arts in Escondido because they always have amazing shows there! My fiance, Drew L., and I were last there when the Venice Baroque Orchestra played last season so it was a privilege to be invited to attend the season's preview party! I think over the last season, I was at the CCAE half a dozen times and I can't wait for what they have in store for the next year. I hope that they will continue to bring amazing International groups here to Escondido! Tonight proved to be full of fun and laughter as us Yelpers ate good food, drank good beer, and took lots of photos at the photo booth (by lots, I mean... a lot)! I've always said that the California Center for the Arts is truly a hidden gem and I will most definitely frequent this beautiful center this upcoming season! Thank you so much NCSD Yelp for hiring these wonderful interns and thank you Andy, especially, for looking extra sharp and being the man of the hour! CCAE, you are a beautiful venue and I will see you soon! P.S. Andy- host another IYE please! You're the bomb diggity!

I didn't sample any of the food (I ate before hand) but it all looked delicious. I loved the open air courtyard. The music was great, as well as the company of other Yelpers! Keep up the great work Andy and Lauren!

For the 2023 event: Unfortunately, due to the weather, the event had to be moved indoors at…read moreBroadway Pier. Thankfully it was still a lot of fun! My friend and I went together and it was soo much fun being able to try brands I had never heard of as well as new flavors from brands I did know. My favorite was the Casa Azul which uses tequila and was actually one of the last brands I tried. They also taught me that most other seltzer brands use malt liquor which can upset your stomach and give you a worse hangover. This makes sense why seltzers are one of the only drinks that give me a hangover. All in all, it was a lot of fun! My friend and I arrived right when the second timeslot started and a lot of the brands had already run out of the shirts and koozees and whatnot that they brought to hand out. It's a bit unfair and they should either order more things or disperse equally between the morning and afternoon timeslot.

There was hardly a line when we arrived for our 11:30-2 block and we were IDed, scanned, and wrist banded very quickly. I liked that upon walking into the venue, we were able to pick up some clear bags courtesy of buzzballs, sunglasses, and water. Our tasting cups also had a helpful card to know what vendors were there. Overall, it was fairly small with about 20 or so booths. Our favorite was probably the Mucho Aloha Lemonade. Thanks to Hannah and Yelp for hooking us up!

Elite Experience: San Diego Seltzerland - This was my favorite brand (strawberry). Particularly for relaxing at home. Intense smooth flavor with a refreshing aftertaste of the fruit.
