Upstairs had a good view of the dance floor and 2 private rooms with balcony access as well as a pole at each table (upstairs and downstairs). That can get quite dangerous with drunks who think they can pole dance! haha. There was one central, elevated VIP table in the front of the dance floor. If I were to get bottle service that'd be the table I want! DJ that night played a variety of music, awesome beats. Loved it. No EDM/techno/house stuff (from the time I was there)--thank goodness! I was a little disappointed as I thought a Gatsby club would show more of a Gatsby theme besides the waitress uniforms. One dancer seemed high and all she did was bend over a majority of her time (my eye caught her bare buttocks many, many times). LOL. (Maybe I watched too much Gossip Girl & pictured fancier, themed parties with fancier decor). Themed or not, it still looked like a typical club in Dallas. Awesome lights though, but be careful where you stand on the dance floor--might get blinded by a beaming light! Although they kept addressing that the dress code was "dress to impress" I saw girls come in with jeans and plain tank top, flip flops, etc. Bouncer told us that Friday nights are girls' night (free cover), but when our friend met us up they tried to charge her. Miscommunication between staff maybe? Besides that, the staff was very friendly and helpful that night, but hope that lasts. If I were to go clubbing again (I've retired) I wouldn't mind gathering the girls to go here because of the music and diverse crowd.

No other tricks really had too bad of a line and had quick service. Beautiful day for a delicious event. Great location as well! Hated that trucks weren't able to sell drinks at their station, means you had to walk to another location to grab something to drink. Vendors had some really cool and interesting stuff for sale. Soaps, homemade dog bowls, vintage items and pretty much everything. I will most likely be coming back next year!

I highly recommend getting eh VIP pas to get in early or at least coming earlier in the day. It was extremely crowded by 5pm and some areas were shoulder to shoulder, but earlier beterrn 2 and 4 there was a nice size crowd but still plenty of elbow room and less lines. There were lots of dogs, which was awesome. The portapotties offered hand washing stations which was nice.

As I started investigating more, how fun! What a fun event to find out about! This was the first of many from what I understand for fly fishing in the DFW area! The event met so many on different levels! Booths, volunteers, presentations, fly fishing competitions, classes, live music, awards to fun in the park! Who wouldn't love this? Great for the community, venders, volunteers, fly fishing competitors, and fly fishing enthusiasts! I love the fact that so many locals came out to help support local vendors and the event! To add to the review were a few photos of the event, but what was truly nice was how the so many of the locals loved the event! I hope this event continues annually for years to come! It was great for the whole area! My thoughts, I loved the event! Thank you all that helped out, well done! I can not wait till next years event!
