Although this location is alongside the always busy DNT, once you step inside all that noisy traffic and concrete disappears. This is a cozy intimate restaurant with all the windows facing the lush grass and trees in the back. The Yelp event was held in a private room towards the back that is a perfect setting for a wedding rehearsal dinner or holiday party. We were greeted by the always cheerful Ms. Heli and once again, her and the team put together an excellent event. The highlight for me was the cocktails and the super friendly ladies that made them for us. Our favorite was the French Quarter 75, such a light citrusy summer drink. The tenderloin carving station was a real draw for everyone. RC's does steak right. I kept finding myself drawn to the beef empanadas and the ahi tuna bites on flatbread. This is a perfect restaurant for a date night or special occasion. We chatted with one of the servers and found out about their amazing happy hour specials on food and drinks so you don't have to wait for a special reason to dine there. We will be back very soon. As I started investigating more, how fun! What a fun event to find out about! This was the first of many from what I understand for fly fishing in the DFW area! The event met so many on different levels! Booths, volunteers, presentations, fly fishing competitions, classes, live music, awards to fun in the park! Who wouldn't love this? Great for the community, venders, volunteers, fly fishing competitors, and fly fishing enthusiasts! I love the fact that so many locals came out to help support local vendors and the event! To add to the review were a few photos of the event, but what was truly nice was how the so many of the locals loved the event! I hope this event continues annually for years to come! No other tricks really had too bad of a line and had quick service. Beautiful day for a delicious event. Great location as well! Hated that trucks weren't able to sell drinks at their station, means you had to walk to another location to grab something to drink. Vendors had some really cool and interesting stuff for sale. Soaps, homemade dog bowls, vintage items and pretty much everything. I will most likely be coming back next year!

It was served buffet style, so we were treated to an array of delicious dishes. The buffet included a variety of salads, hot entrees, side dishes, zesty toppings, AND dessert. We were even encouraged to get seconds! Yes, please & thank you :-) At first bite, it was obvious that all of their food {later confirmed by the manager} is made in-house from scratch. The flavor of each dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Everyone at my table raved over each item, even the hummus -- I need their recipe for that hummus. Lazy Dog has a beautiful exterior and interior, but maintains laid back casual flair. The photos of various dogs (mutts & non-mutts) lining the walls are adorable. This event was EPIC. Poppin Bottles Yelp Style!…read more Yelp had it's own VIP section. It was HUGE. You feel like your in the middle of it all. We were the party - within the party. The fog, lights, effects and the sound system. The lit up floor. I don't think some of the Yelpers were ready for what was gonna happen. We all danced and some folks finally got lose. Some were scared and others people watched. Everyone had a good time. Yelp had the whole section all night and our own bouncer. Pimp status!
