The race was organized by the junior league of lake highlands. I was happy with the price options at this race. They did well by starting the fun run people well ahead of the 5k start. The carnival was great and they had tons of food, water, chick fil a, and un sweet tea from enchiladas. They had a cross fit tent out there at the carnival but I'm not sure if Scott L had a chance to check it out and meet the people. The race itself had over two hundred participants. I think we all did fairly well except Cat might have had an issue with timing. I'm thinking it might be from her trying to eat before the race and getting sick. The race results were posted very quickly after we were done and I was pleased with how it all went down. I hope this is one of many races we might end up doing in the future. I will tell you that immigration was unable to keep up with me today! Great fun and I'm glad we had a solid turnout.
