Upstairs had a good view of the dance floor and 2 private rooms with balcony access as well as a pole at each table (upstairs and downstairs). That can get quite dangerous with drunks who think they can pole dance! haha. There was one central, elevated VIP table in the front of the dance floor. If I were to get bottle service that'd be the table I want! DJ that night played a variety of music, awesome beats. Loved it. No EDM/techno/house stuff (from the time I was there)--thank goodness! I was a little disappointed as I thought a Gatsby club would show more of a Gatsby theme besides the waitress uniforms. One dancer seemed high and all she did was bend over a majority of her time (my eye caught her bare buttocks many, many times). LOL. (Maybe I watched too much Gossip Girl & pictured fancier, themed parties with fancier decor). Themed or not, it still looked like a typical club in Dallas. Awesome lights though, but be careful where you stand on the dance floor--might get blinded by a beaming light! Although they kept addressing that the dress code was "dress to impress" I saw girls come in with jeans and plain tank top, flip flops, etc. Bouncer told us that Friday nights are girls' night (free cover), but when our friend met us up they tried to charge her. Miscommunication between staff maybe? Besides that, the staff was very friendly and helpful that night, but hope that lasts. If I were to go clubbing again (I've retired) I wouldn't mind gathering the girls to go here because of the music and diverse crowd.

What a good turn out! And that thought we only liked to drink... Any time the food dropped below a certain level, someone replaced it with another. The worked really hard to accommodate us! Thank you! I would have never tried this place if it weren't for Yelp and Frances. Now that I have... and knowing there's one near my part of town, I will have to give them another go. There is an area for learning with some air plane wings and a place to sit and chill. Walk a bit further and there is a waterfall. Wasn't moving a lot of water the day we went, but it was still a good photo. We walked out a bit further and didn't see anything more but an open path for walking. The main falls area is best enjoyed in the early morning when there isn't a drought of any severity, as it dries up pretty easily. You'll hear lots of planes on the nearby airbase but it's only annoying if you don't live around here. Before the pandemic, this place was a true hidden gem but it has become more crowded since then, even with the world's tiniest and easily missed parking lot acting as population control. I'll always love this park and going for photo ops but I miss when it was overlooked.

There are six public parks located within the forty miles of shoreline. Each one offers something different, like picnic areas, camping, boating, fishing, and swimming. This was our last stop for our 2022 Challenge! We went out for a Christmas Day hike after all the festivities and decided to explore the Benbrook Lake Horse and Nature Trails near Whiskey Flats. We saw the remnants of several old stone buildings, including a huge double chimney. Bald Eagles are known to nest in this area, but we didn't spot any this time.. We will definitely go back and explore more of that area.

My boyfriend's home is in close proximity so, I took a stroll down memory lane. It was very crowded with lots of Walkers and Families, a renovated Playground with shade and a new exercise area. Aaaaamazing!!! This…read morepark checks every box. Walkable, bike friendly, and perfect for a solid run. The trail is paved and lined with mile markers, which I always appreciate. Each bridge has clear street signs and access points with stairs or exits, so you can hop on or off wherever you need. There are also location markers along the trail, (for emergency purposes )which is great for safety in such a large park. Playgrounds are scattered throughout, and there is even a basketball court tucked under a bridge with really cool graffiti that gives it some personality. The park is clean. Like noticeably clean. Restrooms are mostly portable, but many are enclosed in small structures so they blend in better and are not an eyesore. And yes, they were clean. You will find kayaking launch areas, fishing spots, picnic tables, and benches everywhere. There is plenty of space to spread out without feeling isolated. It is not overcrowded, but you are not alone either. The crowd felt easygoing, and cyclists were respectful. I felt completely safe the entire time. There are multiple paths to switch things up, plus a few shorter gravel routes if you want a change of pace. I even spotted e bike stations along the way. Honestly, this park sits right in the heart of Fort Worth and makes it feel like you do not even need a car in this part of DFW. One of the best runs I have had in a while.

This park wasn't nearly as bad as the other reviews led me to believe; however, I must concur with…read moreat least two observations: the park was strewn with litter and do not visit after daylight hours. The park looked like a den of iniquity with people sitting in their cars looking nervously at anyone or anything who happened near where they were parked. Questionable behavior? Absolutely! Maybe I can organize a volunteer service day with the goal of picking up the mountains of trash scattered throughout. In spite of all this, I'm very glad to have visited. I would often drive by on the interstate wondering what all this park had to offer. Now I know! This park has potential if the surrounding neighborhoods gave enough of a damn to get involved. I hold myself responsible as well if anyone wants to join me in cleaning up this park. One person like myself may not make much of a difference, but a group of individuals can impact the world. How about it? Let's go!
