My experience at this Oside spot was wonderful THANKS to Audrey and Blue Bowl Superfoods. It was easy to get to plus a parking lot for anyone going to visit the collective. Once I stepped inside, I loved how clean the shop was and quickly drawn to the cool decor with plenty of seating inside and outside. The atmosphere and staff were super welcoming! A SHOUT-OUT to Sébastian, the GM, for taking time to explain how everything works. He also let us sample the items. His staff was also attentive as the crowd started to grow. It was lovely to ran into fellow Yelp Elites. SYOY! There were so many options to choose from! I customized my bowl which was highly recommended. Later I found out, Blue Bowl was the original create-your-own superfood cafe. Everything (each ingredient added) was sooo delicious including the complimentary coffee. I left there happily full in a nice way with an added natural boost of energy...very grateful to start off my day with Blue Bowl. It's great supporting a veteran-owned business. I'll definitely be back for more healthy quickies.

It's a treat to be elite :) Thank you, Blue Bowl, for the acai bowl, and community manager Audrey L. for setting this up. Yelpers were treated to a 16 oz bowl. The cool thing about Blue Bowl is that they offer customizable healthy bowls at a set price. They offer a wide variety of healthy toppings and a good selection of base options that you can layer on. The staff who helped me greeted me right away and did a great job explaining what Blue Bowl is all about. I decided to get the only signature bowl they offer, it's called The Lazy Blue. I kept everything and added a layer of Matcha to the base. It initially features acai, pitaya, and blue chia pudding, topped with pumpkin, flax granola, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and almond butter. The list continues with organic almonds, toasted coconut, organic goji berries, organic cacao, organic hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, and date honey. The girl helping me packed the toppings on. It was aaaallllloooottt and somehow I finished it without sharing cause it was so good. I paid for a 12 oz bowl for my son and a Cold Brew Smoothie. Another staff member assisted in making the smoothie. He said it was his favorite item; it's made with bananas, almond butter, coconut yogurt, and coconut water. My son gobbled up his bowl, and I shared the smoothie with my husband. We both liked it. Blue Bowl is veteran-owned and offers a 10 percent discount if you are military, police, or a firefighter. Thanks again, Blue Bowl! We will be back :)

We devoured this! Blue Bowl tastes sooo so good. They've mastered pre-made bases. Typically I don't like when a place doesn't blend their base fresh to order, but not here. It's perfection. Staff is always friendly & approach their bowls like crafting a masterpiece. I noticed some improvement with line speed this time, but long waits remains the only drawback from coming here, especially at peak hours. Our dream bowl is açaí-coconut-mango. Don't at me, it's a final answer. Throw on all the assorted toppings from their "blue bowl" and it's a hearty meal! I keep telling everyone I know about this dream spot; love that we have a location so close! Thank you Audrey for such a yummy elite treat.

Thank you Audrey, Yelp, and Blue Bowl for a nice Yelp Elite experience for a free 16 oz. bowl. Located in Oceanside, off Vista Way, the parking can be tricky. There is a small parking lot behind the business, but you are probably going to need to find street parking. It looked colorful and welcoming with the colored posters on the wall, and the rainbow of colors on the wall. I knew this was going to be good because the line was out the door when arriving. It took some time to move along because the staff is friendly, asks questions, and offers samples. I think they could improve the speed if ingredients were closer to the door, or at least the list of ingredients, so people could peruse them while waiting to order. With a long line I did not want to get out of line to go look and felt that would agitate people behind me who were already agitated with the line out the door. I sampled the mango flavor, it was good, but I decided on the signature "lazy" bowl, because it is the signature bowl and full of a lot of ingredients and flavors, good chance to try a lot all at the same time. The person who started my order admitted that with all of the myriad of the choices, that he had not tried it yet. That didn't dissuade me from trying it anyway. The bowl is packed, and full of Acai, Pitaya, Blue Bowl Chia Pudding, Pumpkin Flax Granola, Strawberries, Blueberries, Bananas, Almond Butter, Toasted Coconut, Almonds, Goji Berries, Cacao, Hemp Seeds, Pumpkin Weeds, and Date Honee. The final bowl is colorful and fun to look at, packed full of all of those ingredients. It was very tasty, nutritious, and filling. Thank you for the bowl and experience.

Thanks so much to Blue Bowl and Audrey L. for this elite experience! I opted for a create your own bowl with: açaí, maple granola, blue chia pudding, strawberries, bananas and date honee. It was a delicious healthy tasting breakfast! I purchased a mango passion smoothie ($9) for my husband, which he happily drank without offering me a taste. Highly recommend!

I don't usually go for a açaí bowl, but thanks to Blue Bowl and Yelp Elite, I finally gave it a shot, and wow, what a treat. I showed up the last minute on Sunday and got lucky. The guy in front of me was a regular and on a raw food diet, so he basically knows the menu like the back of his hand. Super nice guy, he helped me to build my own custom bowl, and turned out amazing. I ended up with a mix of açaí, pitaya, blue coconut, coconut chia pudding, banana, strawberries, goji berries, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, then topped that mountain of goodness with more almond butter, because why not? It wasn't overly sweet, like the ones I've tried before, just fresh, vibrant and seriously delicious. I finally got the hype.

Wow! I love açaí bowls and thought this was going to be another similar option to have in the rotation, but this is next level! Blue bowl has so many unique options and customizations. We also got to try the bases before choosing, which was much appreciated since there were so many ones I've never tried. That said, I did still go with the basic açaí base. I layered it with the blue chia pudding as well. Most of their bases, including the açaí, is coconut based. I don't like the coconut flavor, but some of them were very subtle. The toppings were also plentiful and super tasty. This is by far the best açaí bowl experience in town! Thanks Audrey and Blue Bowl for having us! See you soon!

Thank you Blue Bowl, Audrey, and Yelp for an awesome Elite Experience!! Blue bowl had an amazing vibe starting with the upbeat music, friendly and helpful staff, and a design that brought on a bright ambiance. They have 3 different sizes (12, 16, and 24 oz) and a variety of cold, chilled, or warm bases to select from. You can layer on as much as you want with unlimited toppings. With the 12 oz, I chose Acai and Huckleberry bases. For toppings, I got strawberry, blueberries, banana, pineapple, gogi berry, dates, almond, and matcha powder. I felt so healthy just building the bowl and even healthier eating it!!

I was so excited to finally stop in and see what Blue Bowl was all about, and it completely exceeded my expectations! I dove right into building an acaí bowl and couldn't resist adding the blue spirulina. The color is unreal. It makes a shocking, beautiful blue that makes your whole creation pop. The bowl itself was definitely a shareable size! The freedom to customize is the real big thing here. With an incredible array of bases, fruits, and toppings, you can truly create your dream bowl. We went wild with the toppings (I won't bore you with the list, just look at the photos!), and every bite was delicious. I really appreciated how attentive the service was. They took their time to guide us through the process, which made the experience feel personal and thoughtful. This was a seriously delicious and fun treat that I'll be thinking about for a while! The store was also very clean and well organized. Thanks to Audrey and the Yelp team for organizing, and a huge thank you to Blue Bowl for hosting us!

Another great event arranged by Audrey and Blue Bowl! I am very grateful! Amazing! Blue Bowl delivers the flavor, the vibes, wholesome fresh ingredients, and taste! Selected the acai bowls with the following ingredients: Strawberries, blueberries, bananas, almond butter, hemp seeds, coconut, cacao nibs, pita ya base, mango passion base and blue yogurt! and: Strawberries, bananas, blueberries, coconut, pumpkin seeds, açaí base, okay maple chia pudding base, mango passion base. Great experience! Great customer service! Great atmosphere! I look forward to another visit in the future. Highly recommend.

Thank you Audrey for organizing such an awesome Elite experience! Thank you Blue Bowl for your extremely generous hospitality! From the moment I walked in the door it was all good vibes! The staff were all energetic, fun and friendly! The place was bumpin! Filled with people all enjoying their Saturday with a fresh bowl or smoothie! The portions are super generous and you can mix and match however you want! Each bowl is an extremely reasonable fixed price out the door which is awesome! They also offer complimentary coffee! There are so many different combos, I can't wait to come back and try something different!

BLUE BOWL @ Oceanside This place was the BEST bowls i've had here in San Diego. Parking was packed on a Friday, so I'd recommend finding street parking (free). Stepping in, the atmosphere was bright, beach like, I loved all the small details of the place, especially the blue light wrapped around the counter, the art on the walls, and the plants! The music was A HIT; it was all classics, and it just reminds me of the beach! What absolutely sparked me was the customizations, any bases, any topping, all unlimited for one price! Shoutout to the worker Natalie, she helped my boyfriend and i the whole way and gave me the best recommendations, and allowed me to sample! I ended up getting the most popular base, the Blue Coconut mixed with Açai. I loved all the toppings they had from fruits, seeds, granola, all of it! They even have free coffee on the side which my boyfriend ended up getting some and said it was delicious! Thank you to our community manager, Audrey L. for this incredible Elite Experience, and shoutout to the amazing staff & owner, this is a required place now to stop by!

This is the cleanest and cutest Blue Bowl location that I have been to. It was located in such a good area not too far from the beach and train station (which I took) and it is surrounded by wonderful restaurants. I opted for the layered smoothie instead of the bowl. I got the mango passion smoothie with mango passion base. Having the base added really amplifies the drink because it is this concentrated puree at the bottom topped with your smoothie. It was perfect for the warm weather that day. I finished it before getting to the train station.

A couple of Yelpers were already ahead of us in line when we walked in. Two hanging basket chairs and a few tables were available for inside seating while a couple of small two-tops were set in front of the entrance. A lady (owner?) at the service counter marked our names off the magic list and then explained the promotion. My friend selected the mixed berry acai bowl while I opted for the blue banana smoothie. Looking at the regular menu boards, the emphasis was on healthy with items like oatmeal and cleanses being offered. After a few minutes, a cup was provided with my blended product. The contents were blue spirulina, acai, banana, whey protein, cashew butter, coconut butter, and almond milk. I found the concoction to be very thick which made sense because of the multiple butters included. Maybe a greater proportion of almond milk would have been beneficial? It was certainly less sweet than the smoothies I normally order, but that was understandable. Thank you to the owner and staff at Pure Green for hosting this Community Event. Thank you, Audrey, Pure Green and Yelp for making me aware of this little spot and providing the perfect pick me up for the afternoon.

Review #885 2025-056…read moreYEE #135 (missed count @ #95) Comped Food & Drink Order: Ube White Chocolate Cookie (Asian inspired from Cookie Chaos) Yuzu Refresher Frizz Yelp Schwag: Yelp Logo Drink Sleeve & Coaster Another oldie, but goodie that was drafted & not posted. I'm appreciative of Yelp granting me this invite to Dash Coffee Bar, & stopped by late afternoon on Mother's Day as a treat; Elites receive a coffee of choice + Cookie Chaos cookie. I'm not one to celebrate this holiday... all I ask of my family, kids especially, is peace & quiet. Easy peasy, & totally affordable, yet it doesn't happen even though it's only 2 days out of the year (other is my birthday). Anyways, I digress. My son joined me in this quest to Dash Coffee Bar, & he was curious about the menu's refresher bar, particularly the yuzu refresher frizz & butterfly pea lemonade, that he made a mad dash out of the car when I barely parked. We were warmly greeted upon entering, & peruse the menu for my comped drink. I inquired that I'm not a coffee drinker & asked if I may choose from refresher bar list, which she said ok, & requested the Ube White Chocolate & Yuzu Refresher Frizz. Normally, I would prefer tea with a cookie, though I imagine coffee goes better? Our cashier/barista was quick, & got the fizzy drink fast! I had to put a hand on my son to snap a pic & gently remind him that it's mine & that it's Mother's Day. Yeesh! ;-) I love, love, love this yuzu refresher... absolutely "refreshing" bubbly with citrusy sweet & sour notes!!! And the cookie was delish... good ube flavor & sweet chocolate... a match made in heaven! We polished both off in a minute! The coffee bar is a skip from Old Town, & on a quieter street: Union St. just off busy Lake Ave. The dining area is bright & spacious, & designed to allow you to "hang out" &/or work, though I'm not sure how comfy the bench & chairs are for extended periods of time. Compact menu of: expressos & coffees with add-ons, crafted bar, teas & refreshers that's fairly priced (though it seems cheaper than tea/coffee shops) with excellent, friendly service. It's a bit of a drive to Pasadena, but I'm always open to exploring the neighborhood near my brother, & sharing my finds with him (told him about DCB; he's a coffee aficionado & approves). DCB is quickie walk from his office & a short drive from home. Not convenient for me, but definitely worth a stop whenever I'm in the area visiting my big bro. Recommended: Yuzu Refresher Frizz (a must) & Ube White Chocolate Cookie. A special thanks to Yelp, CM Margaret, & the Dash Coffee Bar team for this refreshing fizz & uberlicious cookie to celebrate APIHM!

An Elite Week Event that can drive new life: body, mind and spirit!…read more I was passionate about attending this health driven event at Vitality Tap! My fire was fueled by the choices we had available: an elixer shooter, a juice or smoothie, a superbowl or toast, and a coffee beverage on nitro! All courtesy of Vitality Tap and the NCSD Elite Team. Trying the following items added some pep to my step... The All Day Energy Shooter added vigor to start the day! MSM, ginseng, cordyceps mushroom, green coffee, bean, organic juice and coconut water. The So Citrus Juice drove my cold away! Antioxidant rich, immunity kick and weight loss. Grapefruit, orange, pineapple and Fuji apple. The Tropical Superbowl added a punch to the afternoon! Pitaya, strawberry, pineapple, banana and coconut water. and The Mexican Nitro Coffee provided vivacity to get through the night! I couldn't even choose a favorite - as they were all so delicious in their own way! Thank you to VT and Andy at Yelp for your wonderful elan! The husband and I look forward to returning on our visits nearby and hope to sparkle again! #Yelp #thanks #WOW

Acai bowls topped with hemp granola, blueberries, and bee pollen are a thing now. All day energy shots with fresh orange juice, ginseng, cordyceps, msm supplement, green coffee beans, and coconut water: all "things". Citrus antioxidant juices with grapefruit, orange, pineapple, and fuji apple juice are a thing. Mexican cold brewed superfood coffee -- you guessed it -- a thing. These "things" to appreciate and savor at Vitality Tap -- like pandas playing piano, prom-date online proposals, and bikini baristas-- all things that SHOULD be things. But just because something is a "thing" doesn't mean it should be a thing. Sushi donuts, mint-filled Oreos, and BK's Cheeto Chicken Fries : things that arguably shouldn't have gotten to "thing" status {pretty sure the filling in mint Oreos is toothpaste... and... Burger King needs a new slogan - how about: "We now clean our restrooms!"}. Also: "Odor control undies" and "toddler perfume"... while somewhat practical... not necessarily things that should be a thing. Goat beauty pageants and "cats that look like Hitler" videos : definitely SHOULD NOT BE A THING (jeez - stop the Internet, I wanna get off!). Life is all about the journey, experiences and things we choose to be "a thing". Glad to have experienced Vitality Tap Health & Wellness Bar (thanks Andy & Tanya!). It's our new thing.

Thank you Dreamwave Coffee for the complimentary coffee and great drink and food experience…read more Perfect day for me to visit, nice overcast with a bit of chill in the air last Tuesday. I'm familiar with this area. Businesses share the parking lot with a gym, pharmacy and grocery store nearby. So plenty of parking. Nice spot for some delicious coffee and a bite! Ella was the barista that took my order. She also shared some info on the business and which coffee was use for my special latte. My Silly Old Bear Latte was just a tad strong, mostly smooth and perfectly blended with honey and cinnamon. And what a cute design on top, don't you agree?! The Molasses cookie was heavenly! I thought I had found the perfect Molasses cookie elsewhere and thought after biting into this one here I have another place to get a good cookie! I inquired about the cookie and it's from the place I found the perfect molasses cookie prior to visiting here. Praeger Bakery! My mouth is watering just typing about it! The Wake & Bacon breakfast sandwich simply scrumptious. Who doesn't like smoked apple bacon?! I was informed that Mike the owner is the artist of the art on the walls. Place is roomy enough. A lot of seating and maybe not. Just depends how busy it can be. Thank you Dreamwave team and for a yummy place to visit. I'll be back for sure
