What could be better on a hot SM day? A smoothie! Couldn't come at a better time. I got the mahalo mango smoothie. It tasted really good, you can taste the mango- a little tart, mostly sweet, balanced and the sorbet. The consistency was a little runny, so it was thick as like say Jamba Juice. But good flavors. I threw my smoothie in the freezer for 15 minutes to get a thicker consistency. Still tasty and delicious! Thanks Yelp, Aubrey and Robeks for the event! Got me some socks and a car freshener as swag too.

It was the perfect day to visit this morning. It was hard to decide on which complimentary drink to order but finally went with the Mahalo Mango and added turmeric for $1. Very refreshing and tasty with tiny bits of mango surprises throughout the sips. Great quaint stop to get a cold fruit, or green smoothies and even a açaí bowl! Before heading out I purchased a Wailea Watermelon smoothie and a Lemon Ginger shot. Both very delicious! Lemon ginger shot having beneficial factors for the gut. Friendly service with friendly smiles, always a plus. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Business changed owners awhile back and it continues to do well. I would definitely return if in the area. Thank you Audrey and Robek for a refreshing experience.

Very nice employee who greeted me as soon as I walked in. She gave me a Hawaiin lei, and a yelp air freshener The employee was so kind and attentive which I appreciate about a business I got a mango smoothie and it's delicious, not too sweet which I appreciate. I will need to come back here to try an acai bowl. Very nice experience and I liked how clean it was in here. Will be back

Thank you to Robeks, Yelp, and CM Audrey for setting up another great Yelp Elite Experience. The location is bright, cheerful, clean, and automated. Large electronic ordering system on the wall or you can order with the rep. I had the day off on Monday and headed over first thing about 9 am. They were just opening and could not even find the list of Yelpers for the event so they took my name down. I did the check in and showed them. The rep that was helping me was friendly, jovial, and efficient. I knew that I wanted the Mahalo Mango so he did not ask me any questions, or tell me anything, but did confirm if I wanted it as is and if I needed anything else. It was a nice, delicious, tasty, sweet, refreshing, cool treat that hit the spot as it was already getting toasty outside and I was running around in the sun. It packed a flavor punch and satisfied a thirst craving. Definitely a great option for a cool tasty beverage to have again in the future. I should have done my review right then and there to get first to review.

Wow, the mahalo mango was marvelous. I was on the fence about this event because the two options didn't really appeal to me. My plan was going to give my freebie to my husband and order a different smoothie for myself. We did also get the blue gorilla smoothie. That was good, but man, the mahalo mango was so so good. Mahalo Robeks and Audrey!

I was thrilled to try Robeks after a long absence from this business. I was pleasantly surprised. I chose the Strawnana Berry and it was excellent. It tasted very fresh and soothing. I was also given some nice Yelp Swag! Thank you to Yelp, Audrey, and Robeks for the opportunity to get familiar with their wonderful product again. I will be back to indulge!

Thank you Yelp and Robeks for this local experience. Came in for a small Strawnana Berry smoothie (Strawberries, Banana, Frozen Yogurt, Apple Juice) and a medium P-Nut power (Banana, Peanut Butter, Frozen Yogurt, Soy Milk, Energy, 10g Whey Protein). It has been a while since I stepped into a Robek's but the drinks were refreshing and cooled me down. The store was clean, well lit and had good energy. I appreciated the service with a smile! Thankfully, the drinks were delicious and perfect for the North County summer days!

I freaking love Robeks and I'm officially lobbying for more locations in north county! I was a robeks freak when I lived in LA and it's a bummer they're few and far between in SD. That being said, woohoo for having one in San Marcos! This location is clean, cute, and the staff is lovely. Our mango smoothie was delicious, and we added on an egg avocado toast. Fantastic taste! Simple presentation but a very hearty serving size for the price. We'll be back! Thank you, Audrey, for putting this location on my radar!

Pretty simple and easy event. Stopped in for my free drink with my wife and of course had to order one for her too. I got a traditional mango smoothie and enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Thank you to Audrey and the rest of the Yelp Team, and to Robeks !

Thank you Audrey abd Robeks for the amazing event! This was the perfect day for a fresh smoothie! As soon as I walked in the door the two girls behind the counter greeted me right away with lots of energy and smiles! I ordered the mahalo mango and although they had a few people in the store, they whipped it up super quickly! I absolutely loved this flavor and will definitely get it again! Excellent smoothie and excellent service! Thank you again!

Absolutely! Here's a Yelp-style review for **Robeks in San Marcos** featuring the **Mahalo Mango** smoothie: --- (4/5) I stopped by Robeks in San Marcos and decided to try the Mahalo Mango smoothie. The staff was friendly and quick, and the store was clean with a chill vibe. The smoothie itself was super refreshing--perfect for the warm weather. It has a nice tropical blend of mango and pineapple that hits the spot. That said, it was *very* sweet--almost a little too much for my taste. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll probably love it, but next time I might ask if they can cut the sweetness a bit. Overall, a great place for a quick, fruity pick-me-up. Would definitely come back to try other flavors!

Stopped by on a Thursday morning after my workout. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The cashier was super friendly. I told her I was there for the Yelp review and then I was handed a Yelp air freshener, socks, and flower lei (I got to pick the color I wanted)! That was a pleasant surprise! So thank you Yelp & Audrey! The smoothie was so refreshing, perfect for my post workout treat. I waited no more than 10 mins and there were several other customers waiting for their orders as well. Overall, great experience! I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

I didn't realize there was a robeks in this area, but it's a great location since it's within walking distance to LA fitness. I went with the mango which definitely hit the sweet mango notes and I as really refreshing on a hot day. The service was great and got my order within minutes! Thanks Robeks and Audrey!

The business was located in a suite next door to a gelato shop, both of which were in this random industrial park. I wonder with its remote location, how much customer traffic it can generate from beyond the neighbors in this complex? Anyway, a bonus was that parking was super easy. Upon entering and checking in with the cashier to mark my name off the magic list, she informed me that each of us had a $15 credit to select anything off the menu. I really loved the flexibility of this offer as it opened up the possibilities. Normally, an Elite promotion is for one or two specified items. The offerings were obviously heavy on chicken, however I noticed some non-chicken grub like crispy shrimp, Filipino spaghetti, a veggie egg roll, and even Belgian waffles. My picks were the two middle entries out of the six in the Specialties section... Chicken & Waffles and Chicken Curry. They conveniently added up to $14.95. The first container had four mini waffles combined with around a dozen pieces of chicken nuggets. A self-service condiments station was available that provided ketchup and four different sauces with clearly marked signage of each name and flavor profile. I used the Golden Chicken Dip for the nuggets to add a sweet and smoky enhancement to the bits of white meat. The second bowl had white rice as a base with chicken, broccoli, and carrots in a curry sauce that was mild in heat and spices. Two slices of yellow pickled daikon (takuan) were included on the side. The mix made for a nice savory snack. Thank you to the owners and staff at Surf Up Chicken for introducing a group of Elites to your eatery. The combination of Asian fusion and Southern-style flavors was unique. Thanks also to Audrey and Yelp North County San Diego for identifying a new local, family-run business to host an Elite Week Event.

We had a fun time getting warmed up on the kiddie/party wall. (Actually, quite a few of us did most of our climbing there, taking it easy.) The brussel sprouts and beet spread were divine and I could not stop eating them. The well endowed charcuterie board boasted lovely mustards, cheeses, meats and hickory smoked nuts. The nuts overwhelmed my palette as I was not expecting the smoky flavor, so I dipped some of the cheese into fresh mustard which filled my mouth with yummy flavors. Jonas took care of our table with great finesse. It is so obvious that he loves his job and has the utmost confidence in the chef. His animated descriptions of the menu brought everything to life. There was hardly a line when we arrived for our 11:30-2 block and we were IDed, scanned, and wrist banded very quickly. I liked that upon walking into the venue, we were able to pick up some clear bags courtesy of buzzballs, sunglasses, and water. Our tasting cups also had a helpful card to know what vendors were there. Overall, it was fairly small with about 20 or so booths. Our favorite was probably the Mucho Aloha Lemonade. Thanks to Hannah and Yelp for hooking us up!

This was a really fun event with great food & great people!…read more I arrived a bit early to find that some of my elite friends had made it off the waitlist same day and were already there! The staff greeted us happily. The space is big and open. We were all seated at tables of 4 which worked out great. Some of the banchan (small Korean sides) had already been placed on the table and they continued to bring more. They turned on the grill and took our order for a soju drink (watermelon, passion fruit or strawberry) I wasn't planning on having one because I don't usually like soju but the passion fruit was good. They then delivered the thinly sliced meat, beef belly, bulgolgi and brisket. One of our group had never had Korean bbq so it was fun as our table talked her through it. Her delight at it all was infectious. We grilled our meat and shared everything. We ordered more sides like ramen, tofu stew, pot stickers, corn cheese, kimchi pancakes, steamed egg and sweet potato. We ordered spicy pork bulgolgi and spicy pork belly. Everything was so good and we were stuffed! We knew the elites at the tables on both sides of us and it was fun chatting and laughing with them too. We were even passing meat and sides that we/they couldn't finish back and forth. I think pretty much everything got eaten and we were all so full! This was such a great event! I look forward to returning soon. Thank you 2n1 Korean bbq, Audrey, Caitlin, Yelp! And my fellow elites for making it such enjoyable night!

My fiance, Drew L., and I were last there when the Venice Baroque Orchestra played last season so it was a privilege to be invited to attend the season's preview party! I think over the last season, I was at the CCAE half a dozen times and I can't wait for what they have in store for the next year. I hope that they will continue to bring amazing International groups here to Escondido! Tonight proved to be full of fun and laughter as us Yelpers ate good food, drank good beer, and took lots of photos at the photo booth (by lots, I mean... a lot)! I've always said that the California Center for the Arts is truly a hidden gem and I will most definitely frequent this beautiful center this upcoming season! Thank you so much NCSD Yelp for hiring these wonderful interns and thank you Andy, especially, for looking extra sharp and being the man of the hour! CCAE, you are a beautiful venue and I will see you soon! P.S. Andy- host another IYE please! You're the bomb diggity!

This was the back half of my North County Treat O'Clock doubleheader last week. I have visited SD's…read morefirst Matcha Cafe Maiko location in Kearny Mesa and was aware of the newest shop in Mira Mesa, but I did not realize until I signed up that the business had a presence in Escondido. The suite was in the Plaza Las Palmas which was very busy when I arrived during lunchtime. The inside had a limited seating capacity with fewer tables than the Kearny Mesa spot. For this weeklong promotion, the complimentary offer was a latte drink of choice with a free topping or a soft serve of choice served in a waffle cone or a cup. There were four flavors and two swirls for the soft serve. I asked for the Ube and Vanilla swirl in a cup. Initially, the worker was going to place the product in a standard serving cup. When I told her that I was going to be driving, she changed the cup to a deeper one that normally holds a small size drink. Not only did that make sense, but it was going to be much more convenient for me on the drive back home. As for the frozen treat, the menu photo depicted the ube as a shade of midnight blue. What I received was a more traditional lavender hue. The ube flavor wasn't as strong as I had hoped. The texture of the soft serve was reasonably creamy and didn't melt quickly while I was consuming it in my vehicle. Thank you to the owners of Matcha Cafe Maiko for hosting a Community Experience simultaneously at the Escondido and Mira Mesa locations. Indulging in your soft serve ice cream during this summer heat was certainly a pleasure. Thanks also to Audrey and Yelp North County San Diego for organizing the logistics of this Treat O'Clock experience.
