    Peach Fruit Tea
    Brenda P.

Thanks to the OC Yelp team and Sojeata for creating this event for us Yelpers. Perfect timing to get a refreshing drink on a hot day too! I ordered the peach fruit tea with half the sweetener and I'm glad I did because it tasted amazing. Just the way I like it. I'm not too much of a sweet fan, but Taylor made my drink quite tasty today. There is plenty of seating inside and a lot of people study in here so it's a pretty quiet place. And so close to where I live as well, I can walk here and I'm glad that I was able to be part of the event because now I know where to get some yummy tea drinks!

The open bar --- if you're lucky to score a seat and watch the preparation of your drinks.

Thank you, Hayley and Sojeata, for another taste experience. First and foremost, I love food (and matcha). I love discovering new flavors and new places. Sojeata is a small cafe in Downtown Fullerton. I commend the creatively of fitting sizable amount of tables to accommodate a small crowd. During the weekend, there are two small outdoor tables by the storefront. Upon entering, it's a bit overcrowded and open bar layout with pots and pts of plants seems to mesh well. The wall posters are deities. I'm surprised there's no background "coffee house" music. During the weekend, the one screen order kiosk can be a bit inefficient. However, I like to people watch so time didn't matter to me as I waited for my drink -- sitting on a bench that feels like "an offside alley". Heheheh. The matcha selection is a bit overwhelming but I ordered: 1- Blueberry Lavender Matcha Latte (50% sweetness). This was a tad disappointing. The aesthetic was nice, the matcha was present but the lavender syrup was very overpowering. I'm questioning how the 50% sweetness was measured. 2- Thai Ice Tea - Just perfect and delicious. If there are promotions, we will continue to stop by but Sojaeta blends into other shops in the Downtown Fullerton district so hard to distinguish from similar cafes.

We came here on a Saturday morning right after breakfast. If we weren't so full, we might have purchased some pastries or sandwich. First off, being that we were there right at opening, the guy who helped us was pretty chill. He gave us the 411 on what Sojeata is all about. They are known for their matcha and homemade organic ice cream. As soon as you walk in, I gotta say, you are transported to a serene cafe with a fresh space to enjoy some tea and possibly study for that upcoming midterm or final. There is so much space to sit and relax. The cafe is pretty clean and smells really good. I ordered the passionfruit tea and my boyfriend had the peach tea. Both were really yummy and I love the fact that you control how sweet you want your drink to be. Make sure to walk around the cafe and check out the framed photos. You will see a few of the Hindu gods and goddesses. Such a pretty cool concept. Overall, this experience was great. Thank you to Hayley, Yelp OC, and Sojeata for having me. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. See you soon!

Thank you Sojeata & Yelp OC! Parking: This spot is located in Downtown Fullerton, so parking can be difficult. I visited on a Thursday afternoon. I was able to find parking in a lot, or you can try to find street parking. There's 2 hour free parking and flat $5 rate. Ambiance/Environment: Very spacious and modern. There are plenty of indoor seating. No outdoor seating. The decor gave modern, green, outdoorsy vibes. Service: The baristas were sweet and welcoming! They gave me information about their most popular drinks, recommendations, and quick background story. There is no cashier. You'd self order via the tablet, and if you have any questions, the barista is near by to assist. I also appreciate them for offering to redo or adjust the drink to my liking after receiving the drink. Drink: I'm a crackhead for caffeine, and they serve organic matcha so of course I had to get the best of both worlds. I ordered the Dirty Matcha. The barista ensured the matcha was organic. You can also adjust the sweetness, ice, toppings, etc. while ordering. The only adjustment I made was easy ice. I believe they only have one size - 16oz. I absolutely love their matcha! It had a sweet aftertaste, silky, and smooth. It definitely overpowered the espresso.

The wait was super long. There was ONE poor guy working this Saturday afternoon. There was no line when I got there but many people were seated. Some with drinks and some without. I went up to order on the kiosk, and the one guy working said he would be right with me. There were people impatiently waiting behind me, so it was very uncomfortable because he needed to put a code in for me for the Yelp event. So I let them go first, not knowing it was going to add an extra long wait. I got here at 11:55 am and left at 12:35 pm. A 40-minute wait for two drinks: my free one and the one I bought for my husband since he tagged along. He was nice but I felt bad for him because he looked so overwhelmed. Near the end of my wait, another guy came out to help at the front. I ordered a blueberry matcha at 25% sweetness with the cloud foam. This was my first matcha drink and I think it might have been better at 50% sweetness. I paid for my husband's mango fruit tea plus the surcharge for the mango jellies. They forgot the jellies and I felt the drink itself was rather pricey. The wait was beyond ridiculous, so it just soured my overall experience.

My first SoCal Yelp Event since moving! How exciting. The event took me out to Fullerton, which I've never been before. Thank you Hayley and Sojeata for hosting this wonderful event! One of many things I love about attending Yelp Elite Events is precisely because of this - going to places I haven't been, trying something new that I otherwise wouldn't have or discovering new things I didn't know I liked so much. Parking for Sojeata is right around the corner and free for up to 2hrs. I arrived right at 10am -- unfortunately, the drink, toppings, and the food item I wanted was unavailable. That's ok! I ordered some iced chai with crystal boba as earl gray tea or regular boba was out of stock. Hopefully the next time, the mochi donut holes are available too as that too needed to be prepared still. The owner was gracious and the store interior gorgeous. I wouldn't mind returning in the future again!

Always a great experience with Yelp OC! Sojeata is such a nice place with great service and tables to study! I tried the Matcha Einspanner as recommended by the worker, and it was great! Service was fast, and interior is clean. Thank you so much for the experience & I can't wait to come back & try this place again!

Thank you, Hailey and Yelp, for this Elite Experience! I've driven by this place quite often, and it always seems busy. Sojeata is located near downtown Fullerton, close to The Poke Co. This place specializes in organic drinks like tea and coffee, as well as desserts. The interior is simple and clean. However, parking can be tricky at times due to the lack of street parking and parking lots. Although it's a cool concept, there are many things they need to work on. When I was helped at the counter, the gentleman who assisted me was nice but a bit weird. While explaining the menu and my options, he had some small laughs here and there. I chose the matcha einspänner and ordered two jasmine teas with boba. I waited a long time for my drinks; it ended up taking 30 minutes to get them. There was only one person making drinks, and I had to ask about the delay. You would think it was worth the wait, but I was very disappointed with the drinks. My matcha einspänner looked dark and had cinnamon in it--way different from what I had shown them I wanted. The jasmine tea with boba wasn't special either. All three drinks looked rushed, with no attention to detail. I won't be back. Save yourself the trip and go to Sunright Tea Studio just 5 minutes away.

    Vincent N.

Loved the natural feeling decor and the open concept! Enjoyed being able to watch the workers handcraft the drinks! The Hojitcha and Matcha Strawberry was amazing! Thank you Yelp and Sojeata for this experience!

First elite experience event as a yelp elite! I've always wanted to try Sojeata for some time now. It was very busy when I came in, which shows how popular this spot is for people to chill and study. For my drink, I ordered an oolong milk tea 50% sweet. I'm usually a matcha girl but was feeling oolong today. It was perfect sweetness and definitely much needed for my drive back home! I also did not have lunch yet so decided to try the egg sando. I ordered it with white bread and it was DELICIOUS. Packed full of flavor with perfect salt ratio and it kept me full for the rest of the day. I'd definitely come back again to try their matcha drinks.

Great to see a new drink spot open up in Downtown Fullerton! Parking-wise, it definitely has those Downtown Fullerton difficulties, but I was able to find street parking pretty close by. Coming in, I appreciated the modern and sleek aesthetic. Definitely seemed inspired by several LA coffee shops and appreciated the ample amount of tables and seating options. Also loved seeing the open coffee bar. When I got there in the mid-afternoon, it was a bit busy. The single line / iPad set-up also was a little confusing at first as the cashier needed to input in a discount code after ordering on the iPad and because of the number of drinks, he definitely was running a bit back and forth. But overall, he was super helpful and wanting to do his best to show off the shop and answer any questions. The drink selection had a lot of interesting varieties as well as some limited food items. I focused on the matcha and went with the blueberry variation. There were also topping selections as well like red bean and boba. After about 5-7 minutes, the drink came out and was able to take it to a table to drink while doing some work. The WiFi worked great and the seat was comfortable. For the drink itself, I chose the lesser sweet option (there was one more option that was 'least' sweet) with the 'normal' option being the recommended option. Admittedly, I'm a bit more sensitive to sweets and personally found the 'lesser' sweet option still a bit too much. I did appreciate the look of the drink as well as the clear blueberry flavor. I also liked the matcha tea and saw them making it in the open bar and not just a pre-made mix. Thanks so much to Hayley, Yelp, And Sojeata for the opportunity!

Thank you Yelp, Hayley, and Sojeata! + There was plenty of street parking (free 1 hour) at the front of the store. There are also some parking lots nearby. + The inside of the store is clean and has modern decor. There are lots of tables and wifi. + The AC was working very well in here. Very impressed on a hot summer day! + Ordering is done on a tablet and you are able to make modifications on your drinks from there. + I ordered two iced drinks: Hojicha Latte & Matcha Latte both less sweet. Both drinks were very tasty and perfectly sweet. + Service was great! The gentleman working was very kind and made sure I was satisfied with my drinks.

However, the admission fees, parking fees, OUTRAGEOUS costs for food and drinks (spent over $200), was just over the top for us. I knew going in that we were going to splurge a little, however, the cost of some of these food items were INSANE. Truly, some of the best bites was the Birria Eggroll and the Alligator Bites, probably the couple of the cheapest things I bought! The Mango Ube Sticky Rice was also delicious. We also did the silly thing of buying the $30 baby bottle filled with Mango Pineapple Lemonade. It was yummy, and yes, the product itself is silly, but VERY cheap in that the top cracked and eventually was spilling on us throughout the day. We had to eventually throw it away; $30 in the trash. Luckily, we did the smart thing by arriving at 4:00pm (gates opened at 3:00pm) and we left by 8:00pm. Seeing the place fill up and the lines after leaving was shocking! We did not have to wait more than 15 minutes at any food vendor booth. I have read nothing but disappointment from frequent 626 Night Market attendees in the raising costs and mediocre food. I was not super impressed. There were plenty of vendors and I am in support of small businesses, but once again, VERY overpriced. Plus, we came strictly to try the foods. Thanks for the memories, but I will gladly be taking my $200+ for a much better dining experience elsewhere.

I appreciated they sat us at a booth seating for 4 vs a table for 2 (otherwise all our orders wouldn't' have fit on there) We absolutely enjoyed the Spicy Miso Carbonara + the Yuzu Peach Refresher. Whew! Get me an ambulance!! My belly's about to explode!!!…read more The Taste of Anaheim is an annual foodie fest, exhibiting some of the best & brightest Anaheim & the surrounding area has to offer. This year, $5 from every ticket sale went to the Anaheim White House Restoration Fund. The Anaheim White House, who's proprietor regularly contributes food to the needy, sadly went up in flames last year. However, with fundraisers such as this, hopefully the Anaheim White House will rise like the proverbial phoenix, from the ashes. I'm glad I got to the TOA early, because it quickly became claustrophobic/agoraphobic crowded, especially on the second level. The main chokepoint seemed to be the top of the escalator, where exhibitor tents formed a U, causing a big clusterfrick for most of the night. Food was aplenty & in no short supply. Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles were giving out chicken breast & 1/4 waffle plates at the beginning. That's a full meal for people right there. Club Wyndham let me try their luck spinning a prize wheel, which I won a free 7 night stay at any Wyndham property in the world, provided I attend a 90 presentation at a later date. Hey, brunch is included, so why not? For VIP's and those that won entrance to it, a space was designated as an open bar. Alcohol booths were also dispersed amongst the Anaheim Gardenwalk. For the audience's listening pleasure, bands performed on stage. You know, for when people needed to take a rest from all that gorging. Review #893 2025-065…read moreYEE #136 Comped Dulce Pan Order: Alemana Dulce Pan Order: Brazo Gitano, Guisano, Oreja, Quesadilla Yelp is celebrating Latinx Heritage Month with La Usuluteca, an authentic Central American deli, & lucky Elites like myself get to enjoy 1 complimentary pan dulce of our choosing. The bakery is located near Arlington Heights, off Washington Blvd. & 10th Ave.; you can't miss the bright red name banner & awning. Upon entering, your senses are hit with baking & cooking scents: pan dulces & pupusas? After selecting my Yelp freebie: Alemana (vanilla muffin pound cake), I asked what's their best seller & got the Quesadilla. It's a sweet, dense cheese bread with a texture that mimics a pound cake. It was really tasty if a tad on the dry side. My son picked the Oreja, literally translates as "ear" because it looks like one. This puff pastry is also called a palmier. It's sweet, light, crisp, & flaky. M says they're way better than Costco's. I also added a Brazo Gitano (strawberry & coconut Swiss/jelly roll), & Guisano (pineapple-filled roll). Although I might have mixed up Alemana & Guisano. I figured this is a mom & pop, so a menu is not probable, & requested the server's help; she was kind enough to take the extra time to provide the names of dulce pans. There's no dulce pan menu, but there is an electronic hot foods menu behind the counter. Not sure of price points, but I got 4 items, excluding my Yelp freebie, for $11.00+. There's a 50¢ surcharge with a cc payment. It would be nice to have placards labeling & pricing the items (sometimes pricing dictates my choices & the quantity). Friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful customer service... my server took extra time to provide the names of the dulce pans & describe what's in them. While I'm not likely in this part of town, I'm definitely a fan of this Central American bakery & will stop by if I'm in this neighborhood. Muchas gracias Yelp, CM Margaret, & La Usuluteca team for my weekend's sweet treats... mi dulce son muy deliciosos!!

This lady grabs that and asked if I want anything else. No thank you. $2.50 I paid and left. So much for the event starting at 6:00AM. Maybe it's too early? I already let the LAE team.

Lots of tents/booths selling fan fare, t shirts, candles, soaps etc. Definitely come thru and check it out at least once, especially if you're already in the area!

Lol kids running wildly, I'm thinking their parents dropped them off and left. Also if you should know it was, Shoulder to shoulder rubbing with strangers. Long long long lines around and hour in. Curious if the crowd died down later in the night ? Since it was 4-10pm The free music was fun, and set the mood. I love that healthy junk promotes wellness for all. What a fun market faire type of event! A lot of vendors from previous years and photos were NOT here. Since this was my first year attending I was specifically looking for a few that looks delicious with hopes let down. Supposedly some of them come from Nor Cal and other places. I do really appreciate all of the vendors being pretty friendly, and most of all vegan. Prices were okay, the dip dots soy icecream was very overpriced. Pizza slices were also up the wazoo. Ended up eating inside of healthy junk per usual. Thought they'd have more than brauts outside, was hoping for some creative dishes... Overall; worth it if you're okay with crowds, little seating a lot of standing. Hot sun, but plenty of options to cool down with drinks or indoor places to eat at instead on the downtown area. This was a fun way to try new places though, and just a very cool event !
