I had my eyes examined a year ago in Chicago and that eye doctor was still using the puff of air test for glaucoma testing. This optometrist uses a much less irritating device. I felt as if they really took their time with me. I'm normally paranoid that I may have inadvertently spoiled my eye exam by selecting the wrong lens during the "Which is more clear," portion of the test. But here, I felt like the rest was thorough and exhaustive. I'm glad I came here and recommended the place to others.

I wasn't thrilled, as this is a one-time only surgery and cannot be tweaked later. He still has some astigmatism that could be corrected with glasses. Night vision blurriness (common with contact lense wearers, as the pupil expands farther than the contact area). He said he would still make the same choice, given the confidence with his new vision. I again was allowed to watch through the windows and close up video on tv screens. Growing up, my whole family had 20/15 vision, while I needed glasses in first grade. I can still recall the sensation of being able to see the individual leaves on the trees after getting new glasses. I'm considering getting the same surgery as my son.

So, am about to be headed on a two week out of country trip, when my glasses get broken in half at…read morea freak accident at work. After a frantic trip to the eye doctor to get an updated prescription, the doctor recommended Optical Express. I'm desperate, so I head over. First off, the staff is so nice! He answered any and all questions I had, and was very patient as I picked out some new frames. Their frame selection isn't huge, but they have a nice variety and I quickly found something I liked. My prescription is *terrible* so they didn't have glass in for my fancy transition lenses I usually get, but he offered to order in the lenses and offered to put in basic glass and switch them out when the fancier, thinner lenses were ready. He was very fast getting the initial lenses ready, said it would probably take an hour or two but only took maybe 30 minutes. They give you a glasses cleaning rag and a small bottle of glasses cleaning spray that you can get refilled when it's used up. All in all, I definitely recommend this place, and I'll probably be making them my go to glasses store in the future!

We began seeing Dr. Patel a little over a year ago following an accident my husband had. He had a…read morevery extensive eye injury that we were let know (by the 1st Dr. To see him in the ER) most likely in worst case would result in the loss of his eye best case loss of vision. After emergency surgery at another location at 2am we were sent home with orders to follow up at Dr. PATEL'S office the following morning. When we arrived at the office the waiting room was busy. We were escorted directly to the back so my husband wouldn't be exposed to germs anymore than neccessary. Dr.. Patel explained every option to us making sure we understood that if we were up for the fight they would do everything possible to save not only the eye but the vision as well. We are currently 18months into the process and Dr. Patel has been great the whole time. We will have 2more surgery to hopefully totally restore vision and I couldn't ask for a better Dr. To be there with us along the way. The nurses and office staff are excellent as well.
