We scheduled our "move in" cleaning with Elite and worked with the management team to figure out what was included and what to expect. We were told that it could be up to 4 hours for the team to do the cleaning, which sounded just fine to us! We figured that was fine, whatever it took to ensure a thorough cleaning of our house before we moved in the next day. Our focus was on the kitchen and bathrooms as the carpets had just been cleaned and the walls painted. Imagine our dismay to find that after 2.5 hours of cleaning, when the team said they were done, the kitchen and bathrooms were still a mess. Drawers full of crumbs, the wood floor still filthy, grunge in the microwave and fridge, the light fixtures still caked visible with dust. The management team said that they would communicate with us during the cleaning to ensure that all items were done appropriately and that nothing was missed. Unfortunately this didn't occur and the next contact was the management simply asking to be paid. It was as if management had lost all their information on our cleaning, didn't know that we were requesting a "move in" clean, didn't know that the move was coming up in the following day or two and didn't know what we had asked for. You would think that a business would want to put their best face forward for new customers at the very least! I cannot recommend their services to anyone. I will be sure to let my realtor about the difficulties we had so Elite can be removed from their recommended list of companies. read more

Elite Home Cleaning and their staff have gone above and beyond any other cleaning service we have had in their home. The staff always is friendly and ready to work! The detail in the clean cannot be ignored. I used to clean homes and my expectation is high. With that said I have never been disappointed, everything is always immaculate! Trash is always emptied, smaller rugs are lifted for hardwood cleans, pet food areas always wiped down...these details are typically missed. We used Elite for several YEARS for our monthly clean until we were unceremoniously told last month that they were no longer coming from Rochester to Royal Oak (the reason cited? A "new office"--yet their address on Hamlin Rd has been the same since we first began using them!). It is a terrible way to treat long-standing customers. Just really unprofessional. Lori helped me organize my home office closet in a short 1 1/2 hours! After purging unwanted items and relocating others to their appropriate rooms, I am now able to walk into my closet. After using this service for a year, I am very disappointed in the professionalism of the management. They emailed me at 7:15 am on April 8th asking if they could come and clean that day. (I did not get the email until 9:00). I asked if they could come a week later as I have just sold my house and needed a final cleaning. I asked if they could do a few extras (which I would pay for) (e.g., wipe down inside of refrigerator, wipe down inside of oven and wipe down pantry shelves). This was their response: "I am booked for at least the next two weeks. I would suggest you reach out to another company to have the move out clean taken care of. I am unable to take any new customers at this time but your business has been appreciated. All the best, Lori Frye Elite Home Cleaning" So, if I wasn't moving out, what would've been their response? Highly recommend! I just used Elite Home Cleaning for the first time and am thoroughly impressed! I asked for the girls (who were very friendly, polite, and respectful of my home and kitty) to focus on only two main areas- the bathtub and the kitchen floors. Wow, they went above and beyond, cleaning my bathroom floors as well! The tub looks immaculate, and the kitchen floors are hardly recognizable now that they've been cleaned by real professionals! Renting in an apartment, "second hand" linoleum floors tend to be dingy, but these are sparkling and feel brand new to walk on. I couldn't have done a better job myself, even if I had the time or energy to, and that's exactly why I hired Elite, and will continue to use them in the future. I especially appreciate how quickly and efficiently these girls got the job done, without compromising on the quality of the clean.
