Im a Realtor who referred my clients to Elite staging. The staging fell short of what was promised, old and defective furnitures. When I expressed my concern, they admitted to us that the furnitures where suppose to be retired and never should have being used. However, they refused to exchange or replace. Instead of asking "how we can make it better?" they were rude and defensive. I've informed them that I would never recommend them to any of my clients and I will never work with them ever again. read more

We were very disappointed with this company. The owner, Samantha was very disrespectful. During our conference call while my husband was still speaking expressing his concerns she hardly allowed him to get a word in edgewise and eventually hung up the phone while he was still speaking. They did not stage accordingly as promised. The pool side furniture was scanty and upon delivery I immediately requested a bare minimum request to please place settings on the table but that was too much to ask. We requested replacements on worn stained items and we received pushback. They left the front exterior patio empty even after bringing this to the owners attention. Zero curb appeal, I requested for them to please place something, anything at the entrance to the home but received zero attention to this matter. We've been in this business for quite a while and have worked with many staging companies. The worse part was when the movers created severe damage to our new Italian marble flooring! The movers dragged their heavy table that had steel legs and the padding was worn out on the legs therefore creating permanent damage. We had to have our contractor replace the new Italian marble flooring! When we brought this to Samantha's attention she was in denial and couldn't even begin to empathize. Shelby Lawson helped stage my parent's condo in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The condo is a luxury high rise condo with lots of open space and sunlight. During the process of finding a stager, we were between two other stagers who wanted to stage the property the same way - both of them. However, Shelby was the only person who looked at the staging and at the property differently. The most unethical and careless company I've ever experienced. The furniture came broken, spray painted, mismatched, not proportionate or appropriate. The company would not replace the furniture without getting more money (even though they refused to show us the furniture selections prior to install) so we asked them to collect their belongings and cancel the contract. They made us wait 7 days to come collect their furniture and pocketed $9k!! They completely disappeared and never returned any calls or emails. Horrific experience. read more

Lauren took on a difficult project for me - a high-end luxury condo that had not been renovated in 42 years since it was built! She was able to stage in a way that drew attention away from the negatives and allowed buyers to envision themselves in the space despite the need for a full renovation. Here's the proof that the staging made the difference - I showed the condo to two buyers before staging... neither was interested. Within 1 day of staging, I had two offers! Very disappointing. In preparation for selling our mid-century modern family home in Camarillo, CA, I hired this company from a distance in NYC. What a mistake. There were poor color choices and basic missteps in scale that diminished rather than showcased certain key features in the home, such as a double stone fireplace with walnut mantle and built-in shelving. Lampshades were installed crooked, and glasswork (framed artwork, glass desktop, glass etagères, etc.) was smudged full of handprints. My realtor, a godsend, swapped out items from her own staging collection to save the day, and I personally cleaned glass when I was able to get to the property to check on other things. When I spoke with the company, the representative made excuses for why the glasswork was dirty ("I didn't see any smudging" and then "Well, maybe when they moved items into place, they got smudged") and was not quick to offer follow-up. $5K poorly spent. read more
