Horrible customer service. I was told I need a module replaced and I could order it and they would replace it. After receiving the part I called them and they said it would be no problem to install. After that call I received a text saying I would need to have it towed to the shop now. I explained if I was going to have it towed anywhere it would be a dealership. The person I was speaking said I had attitude and he "didn't have time for my bullshit" and went on about how I know nothing about how modules work. I would avoid this business at all cost and would highly recommend ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Edit: This is where the review gets worse after seeing my review they contacted me to make it right at 10 p.m. I said forget about it and I'll remove the review. Come to find out today from the dealership that all I needed was a new key!!! Elite lock and key are either scammers or do not know what they are doing!!! If I wouldn't have brought my car to the dealership who know what other chargers they would've came up with. I bought a new key for 20$ and the dealership programmed it for $60. Elite lock and key was going to charge close to $500 to install a part I didn't even need! In my 10 + years of living in Watertown this is by far the worst business I've ever dealt with. We have a tendency to lose our keys often and only had one key for our only vehicle. We stopped by to see how much it would be to get an extra key made and the price was really reasonable! They got it done really quickly and while there we talked with Eric about needing a new lock for the front door of our home as well. He showed us options and ended up installing a new door knob that ​uses our fingerprints to unlock the door. Our kids love being able to open the door that way! It's super simple to use and we love the the security of not having to remember to lock the door (because it automatically locks), but we're also never locked out! Eric was very friendly and helpful in walking us through how the system worked and programming everything. Service was excellent, we would highly recommend them for vehicle or home locks! read more

Eric is nothing but a fraud... He put Automatic transmission fluid in my CVT transmission n one week later my car broke down.. He ignored me for days until i disputed my credit card payment n they gave me my money back.. Then he continued to Harass n threatened me where i had to call the police.. I won my case in court.. He also Forged my signature on documents that he submitted to my credit card company and told them a bunch of BS but they saw rite thru him.. He also put wrongful info on documents that I didn't notice at first.. He is a coward.. He definitely doesn't know how to run a buisness period.. He lies straight thru his teeth just to try n make a dime he doesn't deserve.. I could say a lot more but a lot of ppl talk in this town n know exactly how he operates.. This shop has kept both my 15+ year old cars running dependably for the last couple years. Also was amazed at how the owner clearly went above and beyond since my first visit. I apparently hadn't had my cabin air filter checked for seemingly the last decade and a half at my car manufacturers service center. It was so gross and I didn't even know about it much less ask for it to be checked. Seems like it's an easy thing to skip so I think it's pretty cool to get that level of service. The owner has also stayed several late nights for my cars that are now both at 220k+ miles. I don't know much about cars but I really think they are running better these last couple years when compared to servicing at the manufacturer's service center. I lost a fob and need a new one. Due to the high cost the dealer quoted me, I dragged my feet in replacing the key fob. Always trying to help a small business, I noticed Elite Lock & Key on Main Street in Watertown. If it was going to cost me, giving it to a small business would take the sting out of my pocket book. To my surprise the price was half of the cost of a dealership quote. It took a 15 minutes, in all to cut key and program the fob. Two weeks later I came back to ask about problems I was having with my old fob. He fixed it with in 8 minutes. He then noticed my Thule Hullavator lift system was not working and fixed that too. The price was so good I'm buying him a drink at Drafty Cellar. Awesome service. I could not recommend him enough. read more

I needed to get my brakes replaced and wanted to go to a local business. The owner was very honest and after looking at my car explained to me what I all needed before doing the work. I needed to have a few more things done then I initially thought but the owner did an excellent job and was very reasonably priced! I would highly recommend Elite Auto Repair! Called on a firday at 4pm trying to find someone to do an alternator asap as it was our only vehicle and he not only told us to come in and he could get it done by the end of the weekend but then just stayed and completed my vehicle to ensure my family wasn't without a vehicle and also feel the rates were really great but he also fixed the key fob for no extra charge! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The owner didn't even charge us to fix our remote. My wife and I had inquired at the Ford dealership to have our remote looked at and were told it would cost $350, Eric fixed it by soldering a broken piece and had it fixed in 5 minutes.
