The lady who cleaned my feet was very sweet. However Annie was RUDE!!!!. I let her know that when using the drill it hurt& she asked me if I wanted someone else to do it in a rude tone. I told her no because I like her work so no I didn't want anyone else to do it. I just wanted to let her know bc it hurt. She seemed upset so I decided to not get my nails done but then changed my mind because I thought maybe I misjudged her because again this was not how my first experience went. After deciding to get my nails done after she was finished with my pedicure....She put my nails on my hand just to tell me the design I wanted seem like valentines so I said cool let me look for something else. After taking about 15 min to find something new she told me she could not do my nails. Mind you when I showed her the next thing I wanted she was the one who told me to look at her page to see if I like something on her page. Why suggest that if you don't have time? I even apologized to her because I knew I was taking a long time to decide but that's what it is when you have to change your mind last minute bc the nail tech suggests it!!! Blaming me for taking too long to decide what I wanted. I told her to take them off because she said she had another customer coming and that I took to long. I called when I left to let her know I was dissatisfied and that went nowhere. She would not let me talk and continued to yell at me over the phone. I continue to let her know maybe it was a misunderstanding but she still would not let me get a word out. She then proceeded to tell me she does not need my business therefore I hung up. Its not like I didn't have money. I was not rude to her at all in her store. When getting your nails done after already having your mind made up, it's going to take some time to figure out what you want. Arrived on a Thursday evening. Three people getting pedicures. I asked about the wait as I could only see two staff and was told just a few minutes. After about ten minutes, I was asked to sit in a chair where I waited an additional twenty five minutes. When I said I was leaving, one of the staff placed my nails to soak. I waited until the water was cold and went to leave again. The staff immediately began to work on my nails. At that point, I realized that two of the pedicures also needed manicures. Those two were left sitting in the pedicure chairs to wait on my manicure. The third pedicure person was also getting a manicure. I was finally told that "girls were on vacation" and that is why they were slow. I requested a gel manicure for a cruise and a brow wax. They cut one nail so short that it bled. They squared off my nails. When I requested rounded, she just looked at me. My gel manicure lasted two days before it all peeled off. The brow waxing was fine. If you decide to patronize this business, be aware that they are deceptive in their time estimates and do NOT give good gel manicures. I will not go back, read more

My friend and I went to get our nails done today. We both asked for pedicures with white gel polish. My toes came out fine, but my friends were not gel. We asked if they were gel just to see if we were wrong. They proceeded to wipe her nails off, even after we told them not to worry about it because we had to leave to make it to a meeting on time. They proceeded to do repaint her nails, but we were late for our meeting. At the register I attempted to explain that she shouldn't be charged full price because they had made us late. They didn't listen to anything we said, and ignored us when we told them we had to go. Then charged us both $40 for a pedicure. Truly an awful experience. I'm new to Wilson and came to Elite because it was one of the few with reviews. I will not be coming back. The woman doing my pedicure kept answering her phone and seemed so put out that I was there. Like I was an inconvenience. Terrible customer service. She also hurt when trimming my cuticles and was extremely rough with the microplane on my heels. All in all, I would not recommend this nail place, but I don't know how it compares to other spas in town. read more

My favorite place to get my mani's and pedi's in Wilson! They are sweet and nice and my pedicure looks great every time!! A friend and I wanted our nails done, and being new to the area, we stopped here after our lunch at Quiznos next door. The place is pretty, but that's about it. We couldn't understand a word they said and it wasn't the normal miscommunication, they could barely speak English. They pushed us to get gel nails, so figuring they knew their craft, we obliged. After showing them pictures of what we wanted, they STILL asked questions about the manicure. We wanted a very simple design, (I wanted French tips with color strips, friend wanted french tips with glitter) and they just could not understand what we wanted. They never filed down our existing natural nails, never touched our cuticles, and they botched up the gel twice on us. Three days later, the gel is peeling, and they already need to be re done. They aren't that cheap either. They use the fact that you can't understand them to add up costs you have no idea about. We asked quite a few times what our total would be, and they never gave us a straight answer. Needless to say, we won't be going back. Maybe they have new employees since the previous review, or maybe we came on a bad day. Either way I'm not trying again lol read more

First impression...ok I'm new to the area and I'm in hunt of a great clean nail salon that will care for and keep my nails looking great. I searched around on google reviews and seen they had great reviews from others but I should have searched yelp first smh. Upon walking in and looking around this is not the cleanest salon. Although I liked my nails, I was already thinking "I still haven't found the right salon, this isn't it...maybe I'll give them another try...maybe not, we'll see". Then what left a bad taste in my mouth was how I was handled when I came back in the following day for a cracked nail. I had just left this salon Friday night around 6:30, and it's Saturday at 12 and already my nail polish is cracked because the nail is slightly broken. And the nail tech knew this when she was doing my manicure but did she correct this? No! She just polished right over it! So again here I am the next day with a nail defect. The guy was rude, and didnt seem to want to fix it because these are my REAL nails! His only advice was "this is your real nail it's not broken it's cracked here I'll glue it, shake your hand let it dry and hopefully it won't break again. Really? Then I had to ask him to reapply the matte polish just so you couldn't see the big glue spot on my nail!! I don't know, maybe this establishment is only used to dealing with people with fake nails (not knocking anyone who wears fake nails) and don't specialize in caring for natural nails. But if you are a "supposed grade A salon" shouldn't u specialize in caring for ALL nails. And by caring for I mean not just slapping some polish or dope designs on people's nails but actually caring for the health and development of their natural nails as well uhh. Though it was fixed unpleasantly (and we will see how long it lasts rolling my eyes)I was very displeased with how the guy handled me. I felt he was rude and rushing and didn't want to help. Also the place is a very unkept. Even taking my hand out of the led lamp I had someone's old fake nail stuck to my fingers that were left inside of the led lamp. Definitely not neat and clean as I'm used to other salons. I definitely won't do business hear again neither would I suggest any one else to. It was already not up to par to my standard but I stayed. The lady doing my nails used the drill to take off my prior nail polish!! Like lady these are my natural nails, no drilling please!! Ugh. But again I stayed trying to be nice and accepting. She half way massaged my hand after the manicure, I mean just took no kind of pride or full responsibility in her work. Just bare minimum. smh just horrible. Thankfully I did at least like the color of my nails that I picked out but how I was handled afterward when my nail defected the very next day just completely ruined the already not so great first impression.
