There is nothing "elite" about this place. I went in for a basic pedicure and manicure (total $30) and was less than impressed. Usually for pedicure, I would get a good massage and a better scrub of my heels. For manicure I would get massages from other places but there wasn't much of that. Aside from the lack of service, they did a horrible job of painting the nails. I could have done it better myself. You can tell from the pictures that they were not even, bumpy, and just doesn't look professional. When I first got it done, there were tiny noticeable air bubbles on almost all of the nails...I asked them to fix it because it looked horrible and the lady doing my nails just added another layer... which looked even worse. So then she asked me which ones to redo... come on ... can you really not tell which ones looks horrible ( almost all of them) after having done this for years? I was kind of tired of even being there so I picked a couple to get it over with. I didn't get such a great look at the condition of my pedicure but it was pretty much the same --- poorly painted. I hate to give 3 stars, but my experience was only mediocre. The massage chairs are great, I'll give them that. When we arrived at 6:30 pm, they took my friend and I in for pedicures. We got shellac which lasts longer (gel which is cured under UV light) and they charged 15$ on top of the 20$ for the basic pedicure. Alright. Designs cost an extra 5$. I really enjoyed the hot rock massage, I just wish it would have been longer! I had 3 different people do my massage because they all kept trading off which was confusing. We didn't get done with our pedicure until close to 8:30 which was fine but a little bit of an inconvenience since I had to be somewhere. We got up to pay and they charged me wrong so they had me add the difference to the tip which was a bit unprofessional, especially since they didn't apologize. Other than that, I loved the pedicure itself. I HIGHLY recommend the shellac as it lasts longer, and it doesn't chip if you go swimming! (Main reason why I got shellac, I went swimming the next day!) read more

Update: I went back today and the salon was very busy and possibly understaffed. I had an appointment, but because the salon accepts walk-ins, I still had to wait about 15 minutes before being taken back for my pedicure. Another customer sailed in after me and went straight back to the available pedicure chair -- without being invited back -- and was taken care of before me. When I was called back, I was left with my feet soaking for 45 minutes while this woman had her pedicure. My pedicure was adequate but rushed. I had also requested a manicure, and it was slapdash and haphazard at best. I wasn't asked what shape I wanted my nails and was just given a square cut. I like rounded. I am willing to give Elite another try, but not when it is busy. Making an appointment is pointless. read more

It was pretty basic, but the guy listened to me when I said I don't like having my feet harshly scrubbed, and the nail paint is even..The gel manicure I got was awful. It took her less than ten minutes to do both of my hands. Granted it was busy there, but I had an appointment and she just kept looking at the customers waiting to be started instead of focusing on the current task. I chose a clear pink gel and asked for my nails to be filed in an oval shape. My nails were long enough to do so, but she filed them so hard with a coarse file that there is little to no shape left and none of them match. I still have cuticles remaining too. The first time my daughter and I went in to get our nails done they did a really good job. This last time that we went in they rushed us so that they could get to other people and both our nails are terrible looking and miss shaped. There is powder actually missing on the sides of more than one of my nails and one of them is so badly misshapen that it looks terrible. I was thinking that this was going to be a permanent nail salon for us and when I called to ask them to fix the problem they sent me a screenshot of the store being closed down due to COVID-19. That's kind of shady instead of calling and saying that they would fix the nails when they reopened they just sent us a text showing us a sign that they were closed. Now we will be looking for a different nail salon because I am fairly picky about how my nails look and I am going to be waiting until the COVID-19 issue is resolved. But I will not be going back here because they overcharged us for one, then they did a really crappy job on doing nail fills. The staff is fairly friendly but rushing somebody and then charging them $45 for one fill and then $50 for another fill is ridiculous just because it is powder that had glitter in it. For a brand new set of nails on their price chart it says $25, so how do you fills end up being $45 and $50? That is ridiculous for anyone to have to pay that amount for a fill. I get they need to make an earning but ripping people off and rushing through doing a nail fill so that they can get to as many customers as they can leaving your nails looking terrible is not fair. Had they called and said that they would do our nails the way they should have been done at no cost to us I would have continued to go there. But that was not the way it was handled and over pricing because of a pandemic isn't fair to other people who have to work for their earnings as well. We came in for my daughters birthday a few weeks ago. We had 4 of us. When I called they made it sound like we could get right in no appt needed. Not true. We got there and waited for another 30 min before getting started. The girl that did mine was great. But the lady that did my daughter, sister in law and my daughters friend was in such a hurry. She mused a lot. When She started on my daughters friend a lady came in crying that her back hurt. So the nail Tech told my daughters friend to get up (half way through) so she could work on this lady. There was also people waiting for their turn. If the women was in that much pain maybe home or the ER would have been a better place to be. 45 min later the nail tech finally went back to my daughters friend. Apologetic and full of excuses. I voiced how unprofessional that was to allow that to even happen. The lady with the hurt back kept looking at us and smirking. I was so annoyed that the nail tech pushed aside her current client for this women. She lost 3 tips! So i guess all you have to do is grab your back and cry you'll be able to skip ahead of even the client in the chair. read more

I am so happy with Elite Nails salon. I have been with them since their opening and it only improves. As any customer you always have your favorite person who works on your nails. I absolutely love Jenn. She's so good at what she does and always goes out of her way to make your feel comfortable. I've referred all of my friends and family here. It saddens me to hear negative reviews about this business. In today's world we are all very impatient and expect instant results and service. The second a customer is Inconvenienced they leave a bad review and it's unfair. I don't think people genuinely realize the hours this business puts in to accommodate to their clients. I've witnessed the employees staying over their "closed hours" to accommodate to a client wanting her nails done at 7:00pm. I have witnessed how clean they are and how well they keep this salon. The asked the girl not to cut my toenails because I had just done that myself and she still cut them. She almost cut my pinky toenail all the way off. Tried this nail salon after reading some good reviews. But unfortunately I didn't see the reason. It was very rushed the whole way through, even though I had made an appt and there was only 2 other people in there. But more importantly I noticed some unhygienic health issues. Big red flags For starters, they do no properly clean and disinfect the pedicure baths, I know because I watched them. The manicure stations are not wiped down between each client; which made me cringe as I put my hands in the previous clients nail shavings (gross) not even an effort to clean the area off or provide a clean work area. Strike 2. They don't properly sterilize their metal tools and reuse things nail files and buffers; these should be one time use items for each client as they can transfer bacteria, ( again, gross ). They use a electric rotary file over the natural nail which is a no no, a hand file would accomplish the same result without destroying my natural nail. There is also a communication barrier which is frustrating when you want to ask questions, voice any concerns or simply tell them what you want. All I can say is, If you're going to choose a nail salon, hygiene should be your #1 priority; that is, if you don't want a previous customers viral infection. Sorry but this place unfortunately seemed more about the $ than adhering to basic hygiene standards. Will not be returning read more
