I've done continuous stretching and exercises I've learned online in order to try to stay active. Start of DynamX PT: Abigail did my evaluation and noticed I had weak posterior chain. Her and Dustin came up with a workout routine that I did both at physical therapy and at home. In my 3-month span I was able to go from barely able to jog with pain to one legged explosive jumping. It did take lots of work but with Dustin's dynamic workouts I was able to improve gradually over time. Thanks: Huge shout out to Fain for staying on top of my insurance company. Unlike other hospitals that only focus on imaging results to push injections or surgery, Dr. Jason Kim took a truly holistic approach. He was professional, genuinely listened to my symptoms, explained the process clearly about finding the root cause of my pain, and made me feel comfortable. Before coming here, stretching, rehab exercises, and foam rolling gave me no lasting relief. Dr. Kim explained that my leg muscles were over-tense and overworked from compensating, which ultimately triggered my ankle and foot pain. He treated me using dry needling. Although the muscle twitching during trigger point release surprised me at first, the heavy soreness quickly subsided. My tight muscles have relaxed significantly after few sessions. During my visits, I also mentioned chronic neck, headache, and rock-hard trap pain caused by long hours of computer work, as well as a cold, aching pain in my elbow that woke me up at night. Dr. Kim treated these areas as well. The tension dropped dramatically after each treatment, my headache disappeared, and the elbow pain vanished. I've tried various PTs through my insurance, but this is the first time I invested in PT out of…read morepocket, and it was absolutely worth it. I felt like my body was twisted and unbalanced, but the PTs covered by my insurance weren't able to help me until the issue I had been expressing eventually led to a severe injury where I couldn't walk for about five days. The PTs would give me exercises that I could have easily found through ChatGPT or a simple Google search, and then send me to an aide. When I had questions, the aides often didn't know the answers. They gave me A LOT of at home exercises, almost a quantity over quality, hoping one works. Then I found Dr. Gary! He is very different from a typical PT. He listens carefully to all of my issues (pain and discomfort seemingly everywhere. I'm sure I sound like a hypochondriac ), and then gives me some really odd exercises that I would never have found on my own. Somehow, I always feel better afterward. He goes all the way down to the basics, even teaching me how to breathe to properly engage my core, when to breathe during an exercise, and exactly where I should be feeling each movement. It's not just "here are some exercises, go do them." He makes sure I understand why I'm doing them and what I should be feeling. He also consistently remembers to send me my homework, often with videos. With the other PTs I tried, I had to repeatedly hunt them down to get my exercises, so I ended up having to rely on memory. Dr. Gary also responds to my questions between sessions if I'm unsure about an exercise, which has been incredibly helpful in making sure I'm doing things correctly. What I appreciate most is how much he genuinely cares about learning and thinking critically. I can tell he is constantly processing what he's seeing and what I'm telling him during our sessions and trying to figure out the root cause of what's going on. He tests and retests his hypotheses until my body gives him feedback that he's on the right track. I'm incredibly thankful for Dr. Gary and the care he puts into his work. If you're dealing with something that feels "off" in your body, I truly believe your health is worth the investment. Don't wait until the problem becomes a serious injury like I did because of the limitations of the insurance system. Take the chance! you may be surprised by how much the right PT can help. I had been going to another PT clinic where I wasn't progressing at all I was always in pain, never getting stronger, and honestly felt stuck, and defeated. That's when I met Dr. Gary. I was stressed, sad, and didn't know where to go next. I felt so far behind in my recovery, but he made sure I knew I wasn't behind and that recovery doesn't have a set timeline. His focus was helping me feel confident again after surgery and learning to trust the process. I had knee pain every time I lunged, and my previous PT basically told me that pain was "normal". However when I told Dr. Gary about it, he actually listened, ran tests, and figured out it was scar tissue buildup. He gave me exercises to help with the pain and slowly rebuild my strength. Every session I have with Dr. Gary he genuinely cares about fixing the problem instead of ignoring it. What I really appreciate is how intentional he is. Any question I had about movements, exercises, or even basic anatomy he explained everything clearly and never made me feel dumb. He made sure I understood why we were doing certain exercises and how they would help me long‑term as I worked to regain my strength. Dr. Gary is extremely intentional with his clients. I used their urgent care service and got right in, got X-rays and was put in a cast and back out the door within an hour and a half! Called…read moreon 9/8/26 as my referral for my left hip was approved on 9/2 and was told they couldn't find my referral. After being placed on hold for quite awhile, they found my referral and said that I needed to be assigned to a provider and will be called back in 24 hours to schedule appointment. No call back, so I called to follow up today 9/11 and was told they couldn't find my referral again. Gave my info then the receptionist rudely asked if I had seen pain management before, which I replied, yes for my back. She said I need to submit my records for any pain management because the doctor needs to review and approve me before I can get an appointment. I said they need this even though it's for another part of my body? She said it doesn't matter, they need to see everything. At this point, I was so frustrated because she never confirmed she found my approval and added a new hoop to jump through to see if I will even be "approved" to get an appointment for a consultation. This is absolutely ridiculous and I just said thank you and hung up. Good luck getting past the front office to even get a consultation!
