Background: Came in with sharp knee pain when jumping or running. I've had this pain for 5+ years. I've done continuous stretching and exercises I've learned online in order to try to stay active. Start of DynamX PT: Abigail did my evaluation and noticed I had weak posterior chain. Her and Dustin came up with a workout routine that I did both at physical therapy and at home. In my 3-month span I was able to go from barely able to jog with pain to one legged explosive jumping. It did take lots of work but with Dustin's dynamic workouts I was able to improve gradually over time. Thanks: Huge shout out to Fain for staying on top of my insurance company. WOW - the level of dissatisfaction I felt walking out of this location was matched only by my level of disappointment. I called to make an appointment and over the phone stated I was looking to rehab my right calf due to a tear and suspected scar tissue build up was the reason it wasn't healed up right. You would *think* over the phone they would give some info about what to expect on your first visit, OR what their services cost for non-insurance clients (I have an HSA). First Mistake. I walked in at 5pm, the time of my appointment and I'm told to take a seat because Abigail is with another client. I assumed that meant she was wrapping up, so expected to wait 5-10mins. Second Mistake. I waited half an hour before I was acknowledged. And maybe this wouldn't be huge deal elsewhere, but it's a timed visit where there's an expectation that you're getting about an hour of rehab work. I was already skeptical about how Abigial was going to be able to do at this point. Then she started her "consultation" which was her stumbling to get through her analysis and recommendations. "We..uh...can do stretching...and uh use tools...and if you...want to schedule..." HOLD UP! I finally had to ask, "are we going to be able to do anything today?" NAH, I had to fill out the paperwork first. OH! and by the way! Abby had a 6:00pm and it was already 5:40pm. Well that should have been the final straw. BUT WAIT BILLY MAYS - THERE'S MORE! I filled out the 3 pages of paperwork and hand it to the dude working the check-in. Apparently, he has to enter it BEFORE I can be seen. At 5:46pm he says he's done and Abby asks if he's told me how much it will be, he pokes his head from the side of the computer monitor "hey LopezE, it's gonna be $150." That was it, the price gouging put me over the top. "$150 for what?" for Abby to rub a ballpoint pen up and down my calf for 15mins? I tell him to cancel the session and walked out...not scratch that, I limped out because they didn't help me one bit. Waste of time, overpriced, staff is in serious need of professional training. Here's another quote to add to your sappy "motivational" office wall, "LEARN TO DO YOUR BAISC JOB DUTIES" read more

I came here for a consultation and the doctor who helped me offered exercises and tried very hard to find a solution to my pain. They have two packages. One for 500 and another for 800. I believe the 500 covers one evaluation and 4 visits. Regularly the evaluation is 150+ and the visits are 100 I think. I would go back for more care if my pain continues. I am currently working on the solutions she provided for me. read more

So the therapist and staff are great. Billing on the other hand is another story. My 2nd visit I was told I satisfied my out of pocket. So I continued my visits through to the end of the year. I get a bill for 200+ saying I owe for scattered dates after my 2nd visit. Scattered not consecutive. So I contact billing and tell them that my insurance told me I met my deductible. I also have them contact my IPA for assistance. Im told they will do an audit to get this taken care of. This was 2019. So I do my part and contact insurance and they tell me they will take care of it and they also contacted the billing department explaining it to them. Year later I continue to get the same bill I contact insurance they research and supposed to handle it. Yet I'm thinking to myself why am I doing the billers job. Aren't you supposed to figure out why I am being told one thing the same to you yet nothing is getting taken care of. Why am I doing the job. Your the biller. I've already dealt with my insurance the past 1.5 years of this bill I keep getting. Don't forget. You also told me I met my out of pocket and was not responsible for any more copays. Yet here we are today with another bill threatening to send me to collections for 200 + dollars for wrong information your staff gave me. And I have tried to fix. 4 weeks ago my IPA said they were going to rebill all claims. Let me guess all your billing department is doing is licking an envelope and resending me a bill I should not be responsible for. I wanna be on your lazy Billings staff. Sounds like easy money read more

Stay away from DynamX Therapy. They tell you one price (after confirming with your insurance) and then charge more claiming the insurance did not pay them. There are much better Therapy places around. read more

I was referred to DynamX for workers comp and had a much better experience there than with previous PTs. I was so used to being given 10 or so exercises to do with no specific reasons for each one and left to complete them on my own. Instead Evan focused on the specific movements I make at work and assigned me exercises that actually made sense. His no bs approach helped me to make more progress than I've seen in months and gave me more confidence to keep doing the same exercises at home after our approved sessions were over. I had a great experience and would highly recommend getting treated there. On a side note, I also appreciated that they had staff who were fluent in Spanish and Korean to better serve their local community. read more

I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! After my dad had a total knee replacement, we wanted him to become more independent. Our family also wanted him to receive the best care and didn't want him to end up at just any physical therapy office. After a rigorous search and cross referrencing with Yelp, we found this office. We called and made an appointment for a complimentary session. After the first visit, we knew this was the place for him. This office is small but thorough. They are definitely professional and courteous. My dad's physical therapist was Evan. Evan is awesome! Alongside Evan, a student named Robin helped my dad. For the past few months, I saw what they have done for my dad. I was sad to hear that Robin went back to school but I know he will become a wonderful physical therapist. AMAZING!!! I can literally cry while writing this ! I had ACL reconstruction surgery on October 3 2019. Like with a any new surgery you are looking for the best therapy you can possible find and I'am so lucky I did. Initially I was going to another pt location .. I felt that I was not getting the service nor treatment I deserved with this specific knee reconstruction , so I decided to look elsewhere...that's when I found DYnamix . The service you receive right from the beginning is incredible the front desk personnel is very courteous and extremely helpful! I cannot speak enough good things about the PT therapist Evan and Carly. They TRULY care and give 100% while they are treating you !! They explain every exercise and the purpose of the exercise . I have been to DynamX on two separate durations which spanned 6 months (roughly 15 sessions). Out of all the medical facilities I have been to, DynamX has been the only one that I have been to without having to worry about not scheduling an appointment. I had no issues scheduling an appointment same week and they were always able to accommodate for my schedules. All the employees were very kind and fostered a welcoming environment. I had some of the loveliest conversations with Fain while waiting for my therapy sessions. During the two durations of treatment I worked with 4 therapists and of those ~15 sessions I worked with Evan for 11 of them, as such this review will mainly cover Evan's work (but I can say confidently that all the therapists are highly qualified and will work with you). The first time I went in for a post cuff issue related to surfing and climbing. Emily, Evan, and Sarah all did a great job of running my shoulder through extensive testing to narrow down the issue. I came in without a referral so the term of these sessions didn't last too long, however by the end of it I was back to climbing. The second time I came in was by referral and it was for some knee pain and anterior/posterior shoulder pain. The knee pain was running related, and I came back asking for Evan knowing that he had a running background. The shoulder pain occurred again because of a climbing related movement. Evan worked with me and my limited timeframe to get me running healthily for a half marathon. We had roughly 4 months, so our focus in the first half was strengthening and focus in the latter half was on small technique changes (cadence and big toe emphasized push off) to take load off my knee to improve running economy. The strategy worked as I was able to run my first race ever without any knee problems. Not only did Evan help me fix my knee problem, but he also gave me the tools to resolve future injuries. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood each movement and why we were doing it. I'm really grateful for his patience with hearing the minutiae of my issues. He even took the time to analyze my running form despite us going over our scheduled time during a session. His bottom up approach allowed me to see how various issues are connected, and he did all that while keeping it simple which shows mastery over his field. There are a lot more great things I can say about this clinic, but it's already a lengthy review. In a nutshell, go to this clinic if you have an injury and are looking to not only fix the symptoms but find the cause (thereby preventing future occurrences). The entire staff is amazing and will work with you. I also found the prices very fair, especially with what other clinics were charging in the area. read more

this place is the best. i've been to physical therapy in the past and it was fine, but DynamX truly stands out. After a fracture to my leg and extensive surgery to my knee, I really thought I was never gonna be able to walk "normally" and without pain ever again. Brian, Evan, and Eddie are seriously the best! I ask a lot of questions and they always break it down and explain everything to me. They listen to your goals, and really help get you there without any pressure. Everyone is so encouraging and they do it in a way that helps you motivate yourself. The whole environment is truly just really comfortable. Everyone there wants you to be great and is seriously an amazing support system to have after ANY injury to get you back and motivated in your everyday life. I found Dr. Evan last minute for my sister who was running the Boston Marathon. Two weeks prior to the race, she was feeling pain while running. We got the first appointment we could and we're so happy we did! Dr. Evan not only assessed the weakness in my sister's running form and gave exercises to help strengthen her running; he was also extremely positive and optimistic for my sister's ability to run strong at Boston. While it's important for athletes to get stronger and recover properly physically, Dr. Evan understands that for athletes, much of that process has a mental component as well. Went in for a therapy consultation and received a helpful and very gratifying response from Brian and started my six week program. I have been to physical therapy in the past. But Wan-Kai, Edwin, Lauren and the gang at DynamX PT seem do things different from what I'm used to. Not only do they create an exercise regimen but Wan-Kai is the master in message and joint manipulation in order to get you past your problem. I thought I was destine for the knife and actually looked forward to surgery, so I could regain use of my shoulder. So, when my physician referred me to DynamX PT I thought, "yeah right". Spend weeks to take two steps forward only to end up taking two steps back. Definitely not the case here. My wife yelped this place, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It was near my residence and the reviews were excellent. I ruptured my bicep tendon and needed physical therapy. I've never done physical therapy and didn't really know what to expect but my experience for treatment was definitely 5 stars. All of the staff is nice and courteous. I called to inquire prior and they gave me all the information I needed and even contacted my insurance if everything was a go! I saw two physical therapist during my time there. 7 of 8 sessions was with Evan and he definitely took care of me to get me back to where I needed. My 2nd session was with Carly and she got me to work, I was not disappointed. The PT aids Peter and Hannah helped a great deal as well so the treatments ran smoothly the entire time. The environment is very clean and organized. There isn't anything negative to say about this physical therapy spot. I'd highly recommend anyone who needs treatment to go here! read more

I had really bad lower back pain and going to my primary doctor he said I probably put too much stress on my back because of working out, this is why It was causing the pain. My first physical therapy session was such a rewarding and educational experience and I am glad it was with DynamX Physical Therapy! A good friend of mine who works there suggested I get my lower back checked with their therapist. Although it was a free consult, the staff were still so welcoming and the therapist showed much concern and professionalism in making sure I was getting the right treatment. Wan-Kai patiently listened as I explained what my body was feeling and executed his massages/joint manipulation that got me feeling like I could do a back flip afterwards. I've been experiencing severe back pain for a few months and through their help I was able to get up from a chair normally without feeling any strain (what a relief after so many months)!
