I consigned for the first time and brought 10 items, named brand. They kept only 5, one was a Lilly Pulitzer bathing suit, worn twice, new at $148. and they sold that for $30. OMG, what a waste of time. The rest they said they donated after time lapse. I had a ring they valued at over $100. they never told me they kept, luckily I visited the store to retrieve it, thinking "surely they didn't donate that". They did return it. Overall, the establishment is below par and I do not plan to return to shop or consign. Their dresses are daily wear and not many name brands. read more

First, my mother called them and asked if they took men's clothing. They said yes. I called them too, without knowing my mother had called. I was told they didn't take men's suits or tuxedo's. I asked if there was anything else I shouldn't bring. Just suits and tuxedo. I drove an hour one way to get there. Once there, my brother and I brought all of his clothes in. They were brand new NFL and college sweatshirts that my brother never wore or wore once. He had an Astros jacket. The young women said they didn't take winter wear or jackets. The people who work here can be a bit rude. The clothes are hit and miss. Designer wear and department shop clothing is buried under Walmart and Target. But occasionally I find a rare jewel, and when I do, I'm pretty happy. read more

I love Elite a repeat as a consignor and a buyer. The facility is clean and the items are arranged nicely. Shoes are placed by size making it easy to find the size you need. As a consignor or a buyer they price the items fairly. Most of the time what I sell I invest back into what I buy. Great people , great items. Great prices. It wasn't the worst thrift store I've ever been to but it's definitely not the best. The day I went in, it was empty - which is fine. To be expected sometimes for secondhand stores sure. However, a lot of their prices are a little high for secondhand items. I mean...come on, half burned candles for like $5.99? I don't know. I didn't see much but I did want to buy this ribbon craft item for wrapping a gift for my sister's birthday upcoming this week. As I went to checkout, the girl at the front told me .50 cents or 1.00 dollars with a card. It was not worth a dollar - it's literally half-used, half-sitting there and has probably been there since the estate sale it was lifted from. I don't carry cash (which is technically my fault) but after finding 2 quarters she suddenly said...."fifty-four cents because of tax." ...Really? She couldn't have told me that BEFORE hand?? So I'm already sitting there annoyed because she could've said that beforehand BEFORE I start digging around my purse for change and at the end, ultimately, I left. I didn't want to be bothered to be haggled over .04 cents. If I were her, I would've just sold it to the customer at .50 cents because at least then, it wouldn't have been a total loss. I don't know, it was very disturbing that she didn't know how to calculate basic tax before sitting there and watching the customer dig around her purchase for change. I definitely WOULD carry cash - but I just moved to the area and there's not a Chase bank in sight around here! Ugh so aggravating OVER .50 CENTS girl come ON. It was ridiculous. High prices, not much merch and a registrar who argues over CENTS. Not worth it folks. Go to COME thrift center or Bargains and Blessings and take your money elsewhere. read more

I really liked this place at one time. The prices were fairly reasonable but since they moved to their new location it's not the same. Prices seem higher and attitude has changed. At the old location they were happy to see you and would work with you. Since they moved to new location they are no where near as friendly and seem to have a snotty attitude. I guess new buildings mean new attitudes. I really hate this because this was one of my favorite places to go. read more

Recently Moved and due to downsizing we decided to give Elite Repeat a try. First problem was Rude Staff. Second was that we are we are elderly and needed help to load a very heavy table there. btw I talked to owner the week before I brought furniture in and explained this was very high end expensive furniture -Sent her pictures of it to show it was hand painted -solid wood. She said this would bring a very good offer but refused even with pictures and a true description to give me a estimate of what she would sell it for. We had help to load, but once there only one employee was there- Owner gone??A place that sells furniture has no staff to assist? We had to get a customer to assist to unload. My husband is elderly and recovering from heart problem. They were actually hostile and accused us of being hard to deal with! While there we told them we had another table - and they were anxious to see it. The following wk we brought it in and they refused again to give us a price they would sell for. So I told them the minimum I would accept.I called them to find out what they were going to list it for and told them that was not enough - to remove it from sale and I was going to pick it up. They notified me today that they sold it for 1/2 of what I wanted and tried to trade insults that this was my fault. I have had 2 dealings with this shop...both times found the manager or clerk to be excessively rude! The stuff they are selling is NOT high end as their name suggests. It's the usual used J.C. Penney and Kohl's clothing. Don't waste your time; the Salvation Army thrift shop has the same quality at better prices! read more

Took 20 outfits to them before the holidays, all of high quality and in excellent shape, including a couple of Cashmere sweaters, 2 silk skirts, a handful of career dresses, a business suit, a leather jacket and an all-weather-wear coat, and a number of expensive cocktail dresses suitable for the coming Christmas and New Year's celebrations which I had only worn once, 3 of which I had never worn at all and still had the original price tags on them for $200 and up. Total I received from their sale: $57. Yep. Management sets the prices, and splits the profits 50/50 for the first 2 months, holding the money until you request it. What they conveniently forget to point out, and it isn't clarified well in their contracts (which also deal with furniture and other items), is that after the initial 2-month period ALL proceeds from clothing sales go to the store. I went in January to collect what I thought was my first payment (turned out to be my ONLY payment), didn't see many of my items left on the racks, and even commented that they had evidently sold well. Would have been appropriate to mention to me that my time was nearing an end then. Guess I should have seriously queried them on why I only received $57 when the bulk of my consignment was apparently gone, but I assumed more money was forthcoming and that the bookkeeping system just hadn't caught up yet. Silly me. Called recently to check my balance and was told that they owed me NOTHING. My items had supposedly been marked down and sold off. Granted, I should have kept better track, but I travel a lot for business. Would have been thoughtful customer service if I had at least been contacted to see if I wanted anything back. I have to conclude that they either made a whopping amount off of my goods and some glitch prevented me from receiving a fair share, have a hellacious shoplifting problem, or grossly undervalued my articles. Occurs to me that there is nothing to keep them from holding quality apparel back until the consignee's sales period expires so that the store can reap 100% profit. I will never set foot in there again. Would have been better off if I had sold my stuff on eBay, Craigslist, or heck, even at a yard sale. Just maddening. read more
