Where to start. DO NOT RENT A U-HAUL FROM HERE. With so many other options in our area, stay far away. This is operated out of a consignment shop & unkept airbnb. The owner is terrible as stated across multiple other platforms and reviews. Unpleasant & rude from start to finish. To top off my extremely negative renting process Ive since received un authorized charges outside of agreed upon services to my form of payment. I will be reporting these charges as fraud after many failed attempts of making contact with this location. All of the 1 star reviews are true. Take your business somewhere else. read more

The owner. We were treated horribly. Kind of terrified to be honest. If you own a business where there is an "enter" sign with an unlocked door (and a tiny sign that says "call if I'm in the back") we were under the impression to walk in and call if we needed assistance. After we walked around the store for a few minutes we were greeted with a combative "DID YOU NOT READ THE SIGN?!" As if we were criminals. We explained to her how it was not direct and the door was unlocked but she was not pleasant. We ran out of there so fast. Owner: it may be helpful if you have a business open to the public with a door that is unlocked that says enter at the top and you aren't there, just lock it. And post a sign that says "if the door is locked please call _____." It would save everyone from the trauma we experienced today. read more

Almost didn't come here, because of bad reviews, but I know how people are, and I can decide for myself. Amy has a lot in her store, and I did not find her rude at all. I think proprietors have better things to do than to follow people around, if that's the service you're looking for; I prefer to be left alone, and ask questions as I wish. I was surprised at how much was in the store. Ignore the reviews, and come check it out for yourself. I don't blame someone who has a store who needs to make money, and I did not find that most prices are unreasonable compared to other similar antique/used-type stores. What a GREAT Find! So many things to look at and such a big space you just keep wandering and looking around every corner not wanting to miss a thing. Amy is quite cheerful and sweet. She gives you your space but lets you know she is around if you need any help or have any questions. I found her pricing to be quite fair especially with furniture since these days it is so difficult to find Quality Solid Wood pieces. If you like to dig and wander and spend some time this is a great place to stumble upon. Everyone has a review but I have noticed in the past people are always quick to post negative reviews but rarely ever take the time to post positive ones. Think about it. read more

They are also U-Haul residential dealer. She charged us for an extra day even though we dropped the truck off 4 hours early and charged extra for fuel. This is a dishonest business practice and I would not recommend this place. read more

Not a friendly place to shop at... The lady that is there is not friendly at all... They had some interesting things but nothing that I was looking for at the time. I was never asked if I could be helped.... I walked through the place for at least 10 minutes before I even saw anybody.... it smells old and not fresh inside. I just didn't feel welcome here. It is a big place.... and they have lots of stuff. Too bad she wasn't friendlier as her business would probably be better. Customers service is the key to success! I feel sorry for the consignors. Have been to this resale shop many times throughout the years and I have to say I think some of these reviews are quite exaggerated. I have never found the owner to be rude and I personally like NOT being hovered over and talked to when I am looking. I am a long looker and like my privacy when shopping, Ill go to salesperson when I have a question.. I have never found the interior of the building to be dirty nor the items dirty inside. There are however a lot of outdoor yard ornament items that are placed outside so yes of course they would be dirty. Sounds like someone has a personal problem with the owner and is trying some " get even" tactic because Ive been here many times over many years and have never had any of these problems.. read more

On the contrary to some of the other reviews, I had a very pleasant visit here. My 3.5 year old son and I came in not long after she opened and we were greeted very kindly and asked if we need anything etc. We looked around a bit and she talked with us a lot showing my son things he might like. I told her I was looking for wicker type things for my patio and she was very helpful in walking around showing me what she had that might work for what I described. I was there for quite a while and she was helpful the whole time and very nice. She even gave my son some bubble wrap to play with since she could tell he was having a hard time being bored and with me telling him not to touch anything. I didn't find anything but I thought there was a great selection and will definitely be going back. People mentioned it being down a country road and having a dirt parking lot but this is texas and with thrifting that's part of the fun. I thought a lot of that added to its "quaintness". If you want everything to be new and not at all dirty or worn then you may need to be going to a different store instead of THRIFTING used, unique items. ‍ read more

In the middle of a residential neighborhood. If it wasn't for the sign would have missed it. They have parking. I found some things Over-Priced but other items reasonable. I appreciated NOT being hovered over but a simple "if you need help just ask". I did not find anything really unique this trip but would venture back. read more

Lady was super rude and out of her mind if she thinks she can over price dirty and old furniture. There's a difference between antique and rustic and just plain dirty, disgusting and falling apart. I called to check holiday hours. First attempt on calling I let it ring three times then I hung up. I made a second attempt, a few minutes later, in case they were on lunch. On second attempt she picks up and answers my question with an attitude and asked "You didn't listen to the message?! Hours were left on the message!" Obviously you rude ass lady otherwise I wouldn't have called you again. That was enough to discourage me from taking a look. I would not have been happy to make a long drive and be greeted with that same ugly attitude. read more

I have to agree with Kylie and Dan; I went out in response to their ad in craigslist (they were a bit snippy in it about calling to see if they still had something). I called anyway and as it turns out, they didn't have one of the two items they were advertising. I went out anyway and got the rude treatment as well. First I had to drive down this two lane country road to find it, then when I turn in, it is a mud parking lot so I try to park in a spot where my wheels wouldn't get stuck and I could walk on dry land. As soon as I get out, I walk around the outside. It is a dump, most of the furniture has leaves and dirt all over it. After 5 or 10 minutes, she comes out and after I smile and say "hi, I am..", she interrupts and says "I need you to move your truck, you are blocking the parking lot for my customers!" (no smiles, acting annoyed at me). First of all, there is no pavement and mud holes everywhere; secondly, there is junk and crap right in front of my truck that I would run over if I pulled up and thirdly, this "shop" was in the middle of a low-income residential neighborhood and they had no customers. Besides, I was barely blocking "traffic"; I move my truck anyway. She then adds " If you need anything, just let me know!" I replied "yes, I called earlier and am interested in the wrought iron bench you are advertising!" So I move my truck, walk over to it, looking it over and waited for her to come over. The bench looks pretty good, but one of the horizontal oak planks is split at the end. Looking at it closely, it is not oak, it is pine, but stained to look like oak. It appears all of the wood was lightly sanded and then stained to make it all appear the same. Anyway, she carries on like I am not there. She moves a bike (the one blocking my truck), picks up stuff, moves some of the junk around like it was going to help the looks of the yard. It had not been raked or cleaned in months I am guessing. It all needed to be power-washed it was so bad. So I wait patiently, look over at her a couple of times to try and get her attention and she doesn't smile or come over. (I can tell she knows I am waiting to talk to her, but pretends to be busy). Finally, she turns he back as if to head in and I finally have to yell out:" Don't you want to talk to me about this bench?" She says: " I asked you if you wanted any help to let me know!" and I said, "yes, I said I wanted to talk to you about this bench!" Keep in mind, she doesn't come within 15 feet of me this whole time; it like we are shouting across their yard to communicate. She says "What do you want to talk about?" (you would think she would walk over to me and she doesn't). I said, "Well would you take $75 for it? She says "NO!" and that was it! No niceties, like I am sorry, but I can't, etc. no explanation of why she wouldn't negotiate (there were no price tags anywhere). So I said "thanks anyway!" and left. Just to put this in perspective, I found 2 other benches like it in the area, but they are closer to Houston. Those benches were $59 each and this one was listed as $89. So, in addition to having the worst customer service skills I have ever seen, having their business in a garage on the side of their residence, no parking lot and a bunch of over-priced junk in the yard, she won't even negotiate. read more

This place is awesome. Tons of cool stuff. About 90% of it is consignment tho so there are some limitations there. The prices vary, so great deals some not so great But non are too pricey. I do love going there! read more

Just bought a great piece from here! Amy and her parents were very friendly and complimented my boys' behavior. Some reviewers commented that items were old and dirty. The piece I bought was definitely old (that was kind of the point) but there wasn't any dirt or a cobweb in sight. This is not a department store. This is a simple place where people are just dealing with people. I bumped my knee on the dolly as the gentleman (Amy's dad) and I were loading the desk into the car and her mother was so concerned I half expected her to grab my hand, walk me inside and put a band aid on it! The "lady" who was manning the store was rude and not at all helpful. We were the only customers there and it seemed like we were a bother to her. They had numerous items that we were wanting to purchase but she didn't seem to care. My daughter wanted to look at the items after she got off work. She got there 10 minutes before closing time and was pretty much run off. I don't think this person cares if she sells anything or not. And we were looking at $300-$500 items. This was my first visit and absolutely loved it! I found tons of things that are not "run of the mill" that everyone else will have. I had a great time shopping and I have to say the shop owner, Amy is wonderful. She lets you look around without hovering over you as many stores do but was very nice and helpful.
