I was charged $101.00 agreed apon price,but he deducted $109 .00 from my debit card. Then he called me and told me he needs more money $90 .00 He claimed he needs to pay his employees. I told him he gave me his price and I paid for it in advance but yet he said he was not going to do that work because he cheated himself out of money. The owner is crooked and I will never go back . Hemmed my dress unevenly. Second attempt to fix it was still off an inch on one side and back. They would not acknowledge it or compensate for it. After paying $50 my gown is uneven and I have to bring it elsewhere to have it fixed. never going here again read more

Horrible tailoring. Brought a suit here to have a rip at the elbow fixed. They fixed it for $13, but it ripped within an hour of wearing the suit the next day. My wife brought the suit back the next day and they refused to fix the rip. The lady at the front desk told my wife it was because I was too big (even though I haven't gained any weight since buying the suit and having it tailored). Well, they wanted to charge another $13 in addition to the $44 I had just spent to have some other suits dry cleaned. Speaking of that, the dry cleaning is a bit more expensive than most other places. Horrible customer service and poor tailoring has lost my business of about $400 a year. Hopefully, you heed these reviews and avoid "Elite" if you are looking for tailoring. read more

I had a bridesmaids dress tailored here, they handled it no problem. It was impersonal, not remarkable in any way. Fast fwd two years & I need to get a dress dry cleaned. The dress has an obvious stain on the wrist and hem. I pick the dress up, the stains are still there, no indication that it was handled by anyone at all, ever. So I speak to the girl at the front desk and she offers no acknowledgement, no empathy really just...doesn't care. Charged me full price after I asked if it could be waived...the dress doesn't even SMELL like it's been cleaned. So I guess they don't do the dry cleaning on premises, they send it out. I'm taking it somewhere else, I'll update my post if the dress is a bust at the next place too. Final note, after I paid I told the girl how disappointed I am and she let me know that sometimes stains don't come out and that it's not their problem. She actually said "not their problem". So...that's a bummer. Update: got home, spot cleaned the dress with WATER only and every spot came out. Every single one. I called the business, the girl apologized. Bottom line: they didn't dry clean but charged me for it. Don't get your clothes dry cleaned here. read more

Love getting my clothes altered here. I recently had to have a vintage dress altered on short notice and they did it no problem. I had to get it taken in, hemmed and the layer underneath had to be brought up and they charged me only $35. The dress was ready in less than a week and it looked beautiful. The quality is great, you couldn't even tell it had been worked on. I have been to other tailors where they used too big of a stitch or it just looked plain sloppy, but not here. I strongly suggest picking this place over any other in the area. read more

Very disappointed. Brought in a brand new sweater to be cleaned. When I went to pick it up there were two large snags and a large ink/tar stain on the sweater. Neither were there before. I was charged for the service (of ruining my sweater) and offered to have it re-cleaned. The cleaning will not fix the holes though. I feel as if proper customer service would have been to apologize and reimburse me for the cost of item. read more

I've used Elite for the past five years and have never been disappointed. Our family has had many alterations done at Elite with complete satisfaction. Their prices are ridiculously low (try getting a two piece suit professionally dry cleaned for $8 anywhere else!) and the work has always been high quality.
