This place was in the middle of nowhere. But the services from Bruno and kid, I am sorry i forgot the kids name but the service was excellent, very friendly and fast. Bruno came out to greet me and walk me through his shop to look at his new and used tires. And we picked out the tires I wanted. While I was waiting i talked to the other customers, it seems, he gets many happy returning customers over and over. I got 4 tires mounted and balanced for 180 dollars. I was happy with it. Volkswagen of Spartanburg almost single handedly restored my confidence in the company. I got a basic oil change and tire rotation at their service center. From the moment I walked in the door, all employees were incredibly professional. They advised that the oil change is going to take longer than usual and apologized for that. The oil change didn't take that long. You know the really amazing thing? This shop didn't stop to waste my time trying to upsell me on further repairs. They asked "Is the oil change and tire rotation all we're doing today?" and actually respected my answer of "yes, please." They simply did their job, got me out of there, and printed their recommended service items that weren't tackled on my receipt. Holy crap, I don't remember the last service center that identified issues but didn't try to upsell me on them. This Volkswagen dealership is amazing. Is it enough for me to buy my next Volkswagen from them? Honestly, probably not. I have no desire to drive another Volkswagen. That said, as long as I'm stuck with my VW, they will be my go-to for any repairs/maintenance that I need.
