He came by and checked the length of the gutters and gave me a quote. It was very reasonable so I hired him. He was here for about an hour and sent me pictures of the gutters after. I wish he would've taken before pictures too. We hadn't cleaned our gutters since we moved in about 2 years ago so I'm sure they were a mess. He even power washed the driveway and the patio. Recently he caused over $2300 in damages and even admitted fault to doing so in person and via text messages that I still have saved. At the time of the incident Edwin had let his insurance lapse so he was no coverage for incidentals. Edwin asked for me to provide him quotes from repair specialist so he could make it right. After Edwin received the quotes he stated in writing he would send the money for the repairs via Zelle within a day or so once he completed payroll and thanked me for working with him on the matter. After 6 days past with no further contact from Mr. Torres I tried to contact him through multiple ways but he has chosen to ignore all calls, text, emails, regular mail, etc. Use at your own risk! Wow that was a mistake. He not only didn't show up at the appointment hour. Wasting the customers time Mr. Smith wanted me to pay him upfront before ever going to the job site. I called Mr. Smith we agreed I would pay him as soon as he confirmed he was there at the customers home. Mr. Smith confirmed on the phone that was fair he would take the work. Last week there was a lot of rain and extreme weather so Darla stayed in touch for a rain-free day so that our windows would look their best once done and fit us into their schedule. Communication is key in any vendor relationship and Darla was quick to respond with multiple time windows (pun intended!) and we ended up with windows so clean it looks like they aren't even there.
