Of course the inspection revealed "damage" & sold her on a "complete chimney replacement". They re-skinned the exterior siding and charged her nearly $8000. What an incredible business model: take advantage of elderly couples and rob them blind.

Our journey started with rain coming into our firebox during a storm. We called a roofer who said…read moreit wasn't the roof it was the chimney and gave us the phone number to Masters Services. Gabriel came out and did an inspection and found that the Fireplace had not been installed correctly and if we used it there's a good chance we could burn the house down. I thought it was extremism and did some research. I was able to confirm that what he showed us on the inspection camera was indeed VERY incorrect (the flue pipes were screwed together) and it could burn the house down. We decided to replace the Fireplace. Gabriel and Cayden worked with us through the entire design and installation. Cayden even offered to meet us at stone yards to help pick out Granite! What company does that?! Masters Services does!! Cayden and Gabriel were very responsive to my exhaustive questions and concerns. We're thinking about renovating our kitchen next and we WILL be using Masters Services for that job too!
