The traditional approach being 30 minutes with the therapist, then 30 minutes doing exercises with the tech. He does not follow this format. Instead, he takes the time to listen to you and tailors a recovery program suited to your needs. The one on one care on site and accessibility was genuine and helped me understand my recovery and previous setbacks. I am amazed more PT clinics don't operate this way- I think there would be a lot less of us in PT then. Booking: First appointment made over phone and subsequent ones made on site and they accept most insurance. Parking: Ample parking in lot. Location: A bit tricky to find as it is in a plaza so allot an additional 5-10 minutes for your first visit.

However, you should be aware that this is a…read morepractice which gives you only a short amount of time with an actual physical therapist, who then hands you off to a lesser educated associate to supervise the majority of your exercises. They also pressure you to schedule back to back therapy appointments to fit their schedule, which seems dangerous to me. It doesn't allow for rest days in between appointments. Despite my informing them of pain from a previous appointment (the day before due to thier back to back booking), I was pushed by my therapist to do the same uncomfortable exercises that I told her caused pain the day before. The PT here is very aggressive! I wish I had listened to my intuition then, but I thought they knew better than me, and that I should just push through the pain. Unfortunately, in my case, this pushing from my PT along with the inadequate supervision of most of my exercises in my appointment, led to not only an aggravation of my initial injury along with a completely new injury. I could barely walk after my appointment at Ivy Rehab. An MRI after this appointment happened showed a completely new severe tear of the meniscus my previously uninjured leg. My advice to patients who choose this practice would be to be very cautious, and listen carefully to your body. If you have pain after an appointment, please take the time to take care of yourself first. Don't let them pressure you to do exercises that hurt or when you are in pain.

The therapy providers--Vanya, and Cole--are incredibly motivating. Their positive energy creates a relaxed environment, which makes the entire treatment process feel much more manageable.
