A friend of mine highly recommended Dr. V to me because I had a multitude of little issues that a doctor (who did my physical for my life insurance) told me I have. He said I had things like thyroid imbalance, Vitamin D deficiency, etc. With two young children, I started to worry that if I left it unchecked I could become really sick one day. I felt a responsibility to my children to get answers, so I called and made an appointment at Regenera Medical with Dr. V. My first appointment with Dr. V was more than an hour long. During that visit, I quickly spit out my medical history, because that was what I had become accustomed with other doctors - who would often cut me off and were almost always dismissive. Dr. V's super cool and calm manner helped me relax and for the first time I felt like I was really talking to a doctor who was actually listening and caring. I had never been to a doctor where I didn't feel rushed because he/she had to get to his next patient. I could see I had his undivided attention. Towards the end of the visit, he drew blood from me (himself!) and ordered a very thorough set of blood tests in order to find out what was really going on with me. I came back a few weeks later to get my results, only to learn that I didn't have ANY of the issues the other doctor told me I had. I was so relieved to know that I didn't have any significant medical conditions. I would have been happy to walk out of the appointment then, but Dr. V still took his time to walk me through some suggested practical lifestyle alterations to help me maintain my health and feel energetic throughout the day (not easy with two little kids). I read his website and learned that he can even tell you if you might get Alzheimer's, and can suggest ways to slow down the development of the disease, or avoid it altogether! Because of Dr. Tahzib, I had a very healthy and beautiful pregnancy, and even more importantly, gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl in June 2012. We found Weiss through our insurance company and called her office and explained the situation and asked if they specifically could do x-rays. We were told yes. An appointment was made and we showed up. We were kept waiting for 30 minutes past the time of our appointment and then were sent out of her office, about 5 blocks away to a completely different company called Parkview Imaging- for x-rays. We had specifically asked if they performed x-rays at their location and were told yes. This was not the case. A few hours later we were told that there was no fracture or hairline crack in our sons arm. One week later while playing in school his arm broke exactly where we had suspected the fracture. We requested copies of the x-rays that had been taken at Parkview Imaging and could see clearly that there had been a fracture in his arm. Had Weiss' office not lied and said they performed x-rays on location or not sent us to an incompetent facility/doctor to perform the x-rays which were reviewed by an old ass doctor whose eyesight has long since been in its prime - seriously - Dr. Jerry Dalrymple should not be looking at x-rays anymore - he should have retired 20 years ago! The fracture was clear as the day even to me - an untrained person. The x-rays were then shown to two orthopedic doctors - who without hesitation also pointed out the clear fracture. Lesson learned though - get a copy of the x-rays to view yourself and get a second opinion,,, Dr. Weiss should have sent us to an orthopedic doctor when we called and explained that our son fell and we think he has a fracture in his arm. This would have saved a lot of PAIN that our son went through when his arm complete broke a week later. Dr. Weiss is responsible for the facilities she chooses to work with and Dr. Jerry Dalrymple at Parkview Imaging is extremely incompetent, disgruntled and a hazard to patients. I do not know how Dr. Jeanne Weiss is as a pediatric doctor but she should not pretend to, or claim to be able to do orthopedics if she is not trained as such. This all resulted in a lot of pain to a 5 year old boy.
