During what was supposed to be an intake consultation conversation, he laughed when health anxiety was discussed (later apologizing), asked probing and intrusive questions about past romantic relationships, made comments that appeared dismissive of mental health concerns, and made several judgmental and highly inappropriate remarks. Additionally, he made an entirely unrelated comment about the ethnicity/national origin of one of the therapists in his own practice. Due to the nature of this interaction, a formal complaint has been filed with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for review.

Recently, we contacted them because our 11 year old son had been having behavior issues in school and we were interested in having him more formally evaluated to see what we might be able to do to better support him at school and at home. We were referred to Dr. Kerry Hasbrook, a licensed, clinical psychologist, who walked us through what the evaluation process would look like. She was so helpful, personable, approachable and very thorough. My son's teacher, my husband and I each filled out separate questionnaires regarding my son's history and current issues. She then spend at least 90 minutes with my husband and I and then about 3 hours with my son on a different day. Her final report/evaluation was very detail-oriented and full of solid recommendations for school and home. Even the school commented on how thorough the report was. Before we met with Dr. Hasbrook, we were truly struggling and not knowing exactly how to best support our son. Now, we feel hopeful and are confident that things are moving in the right direction.
