I have pretty curly hair but I can usually give myself a blowout in about 15 minutes and get my hair pretty straight and frizz free. Most salons do a WAAAY better job than me, giving me perfect salon waves with a round brush in about the same amount of time. Unfortunately, my stylist at Coco & Rose had a hard time getting any frizz out let alone straightening my hair or creating any style. After a significant amount of time my hair was still completely frizzy and without any style so she ended up just using a curling iron to try and add some style. I was ultimately really disappointed - I had to go home and straighten out the prom curls and defrizz. My stylist mentioned that she had gotten a new blow dryer which doesn't get hot enough so perhaps she has corrected that problem since then. The team was really friendly and perhaps worth giving a shot to see if they have gotten better equipment. Unfortunately, I wont be back.

Since my hair is long and thick, I needed an expert to maintain good hair condition, color, and cut. In turn, my appt.'s are always on time and I'm not sitting under a dryer processing while she finishes with another client. They will share the door code with you before your appointment. You walk straight down the hall to the stairs and walk up to the third floor. The salon is right down the hall. They have super comfy seats in the waiting area as well as inside where all the magic happens. They have a billboard table in the middle of the room which just adds to the cool vibe as a whole. There is a lot of natural light since there are huge windows on the side. I think they have five different stylists. They do women's, men and even children haircuts. I booked my appointment with Bianca. I needed a trim and a caramel balayage. Her appointments book up fast, so make sure to make it with plenty of time. I have a lot of hair and it is super long. She was super attentive and focused throughout the entire process. She styled it at the end and my hair looked even better than the picture I had sent her! Finally, pricing is very reasonable.
