Amazing place, amazing views without the normal clutter of a beach front property. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Wonderful breakfast and the convenience of lounge chairs and umbrellas already setup on the beach make enjoying the sand and surf easy.

Top notch customer service. Very charming BnB. If you are looking for a bar type situation ( which we were not) then this is not your vibe. Sitting on the back porch sipping champagne was wonderful while reading the paper. We are having a lovely time.

Everything about this quaint Amelia Island resort is perfect for a quiet, relaxing and peaceful stay. You cannot walk through the main area without being greeted or asked if there is something you need. Morning breakfast in the private dining room with a view of the ocean, homemade treats and table service is included along with the evening cocktail hour. The ocean facing porch with rocking chairs, private beach with lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas, fresh fruit, treats and waters at the door (and sunblock at the desk if you happen to forget!) all make this a place I cannot wait to return to with family and friends!!

This was an unfortunate experience. We booked our trip through Expedia and reserved the Hibiscus suite. The photos of the room showed it to be ocean front. In actuality, there is no view of anything other than the road (see photo). Although that is a buyer beware situation, the comfort of the bed is not. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and noisy. When you sit or lay on it you can feel the bed springs popping with every move. It was hard and lumpy. Very uncomfortable. There is no sound buffer from the room above. So, every step those guests took was heard. Sadly for us, the guests were up late. You can also easily hear street noise and the dumpster being emptied right outside our room. We maybe got 3 hours sleep. When we decided to checkout a day early, the front desk was not empathetic at all. I think that was the worst of it. Positives - the view from the second floor in the main hotel is beautiful. The COVID-19 safety practices were up to CDC standards. breakfast is delivered to your room with a robust assortment of food choices. If you have an ocean-facing room, I imagine the view is breathtaking.

Absolutely stunning bed and breakfast, my husband I got away for the weekend, I am not so sure it's for kiddos but we have a beautiful, beautiful time the staff was so loving and welcoming, my husband and I wnojoyed the beach a full moon on the balcony, and the beach in the morning-- I will be back! Thank you so much!

Our family went for my birthday. I explained over the phone I was handicapped and use a scooter mostly to get around. We had 2 rooms 1 for my Dad and our son that I learned was behind the elevator. My hubby and mine was an oceanview room. When I was checking in at the front desk the young lady said there wasn't a handicap seat for the bathroom. I was rather suprised. Be sure to clarify all details when getting your reservation at this lodge. Happy traveling!

My wife and I stayed here for our first year anniversary in August. The staff was unbelievable, so on point with everything and they make you feel like your worth a million dollars. (Even if your not rich and got a deal to stay here) The private beach is incredible. The afternoon snacks are fantastic. The island is amazing and it's got great places to eat! Also, the rooms are amazing even if you don't stay facing the ocean. We still talk about coming back, so hopefully we will for our fourth or fifth getaway.

We arrived at the Ritz too late for dinner anywhere but the lobby bar. Enjoyed several sushi rolls with drinks, each one imaginative fresh and tasty. But some event had recently let out and the lobby bar got crowded and LOUD. I mean over 100db loud (measured). That's the equivalent of enjoying sushi while jackhammers are crushing concrete all around you. Whoa! Ocean front one bedroom suite - Plush, large, comfortable. Curtains blocked most light, but the bright morning sun still peeked in around the edges. Comfortable bed and plenty cold for good sleeping. Two huge TVs. While the only premium feed provided is Netflix, the cable box had been lowered behind the TV in the living room such that it was simple to plug in your own device. If this is by design, kudos to the Ritz. If this was accidental, we feel very fortunate. Awesome to have a second half bath, wish that was an option at more hotels. The main bath, very roomy, with a huge dressing area, was a little odd in that, while there was a door to the toilet, there was no door to the tub/shower. Not a big deal, as it was around a corner providing a little privacy, it's still a weak design decision. Huge balcony with ocean front views that go on forever. A few chairs and a table, but a bit under furnished. Still quite a treat for the view, breeze and privacy. Never even slightly tempted to leave the property during our stay. Over a 4 night stay, we visited nearly every bar and restaurant option, and never felt like we were having to "make do". Pool - the kiddie pool was closed for renovations, so children took over the main pool all day. If you're not a tolerant direct parent, you're not gonna get in that water, if you know what I mean. Overall the pool and chairs were pretty crowded, so almost worth the premium to have rented a cabana for 8-2 one day. Lots more room and comfort, both lounge chairs and couch seating, TV, snacks and drinks.

Even with curtains pulled back. The light fixtures in bathroom and bedroom were very dull. The shower was terrible, no water pressure no hot water. Like warm showers for four days. The pillows were flat with no support. I came for a meeting. The food was mostly buffet style and like the shower was Luke warm and not hot. The hotel charges a resort fee but there is really no resort to take advantage of. One pool with a lot of kids. Drinks around the pool started at 20.00. I didn't see any going the extra mile. No little extras for the guests. I would not come back to this hotel again
