My wife and I have been with this office since 2012. Dr Saied and Dr Torgerson are the best. They are both very caring and knowledgeable. They always make us feel at ease and treat our 3 boys (6, 4, nb) well. They are very accommodating and take the time to listen to your concerns before addressing them. They never make you feel bad about your decisions and are just overall good kind people. I only wish Dr Saied still performed circumcisions for the babies. He did both our two older boys. We are now looking for a reputable doctor that will do it for our newborn. The office staff are great. They are always friendly and have smiles on their faces when I see them. I Request for online interpreter and I select for the service in all my forms that I need language services line , but they refuse to provide it for my wife since she was not able to communicate in English . All staff members that location have attitude. Read the ranking of the place before selecting it. My son was scheduled for 12:50PM and we were told to arrive at 12:35PM. It's CLOSED at those times and the doors were locked. We went and the sign on the door said it's their lunch time. A woman in scrubs walked by and said they weren't open. I told her we had a paper appointment confirmation. She looked so surprised and ask to see it. She said that it was set up by Sutter and that they were their own private company. I ask why do accept Sutter patients and set us up to fail. She shrugged and just left. read more

DO NOT GO! They never get back to you, always give you the run around, etc etc. First initial appearance when my son was first born went smoothly, after that it went downhill. Contacting them and scheduling a procedure for my newborn after providing referrals and insurance information was IMPOSSIBLE. My newborn STILL hasn't been seen (it's been almost 2 months since we submitted the referral) and Everytime we call (if we are able to get ahold of them) they tell us they are still waiting.. Don't go here.. dr Saaid is good but good luck getting him. The rest of the doctors don't seem to care. The front staff are terrible, and good luck getting in contact with a doctor. VERY hard. Today's day and age you should be able to schedule a call with your doctor. They are great at typing your symptoms into their computer and then reading back what the computer thinks it is.. have yet to have a good experience here. read more

I took my newborn daughter here a few times based on a recommendation but I would not recommend them to anyone else. None of the staff seem like they care or really want to be there. We heard great things about Dr. Saied but he is always booked up and the other providers are not very good. We brought our newborn in because we were concerned about her vomiting, but were not taken seriously. She is not our first baby and we know the difference between a spit up and a vomit, but the NP just kept telling us that spitting up is normal for babies and would not listen to our concerns. In her note she said she educated us that spitting up is normal in babies. The problem got worse and we eventually had to find a new practice. Every appointment we went to we were not seen until almost an hour after when we were scheduled for too. This office is also hard to get ahold of. The providers do not respond to messages, using the very lame excuse that the secretaries do not forward them. We were told we needed to call instead if we needed to get ahold of a provider. We did this too and were placed on hold for over an hour. There's no excuse for not being able to communicate with your doctor in 2024, especially about a baby. I'd look elsewhere. read more

Reading all the bad reviews I was scared to take my son who is autistic and has frequent meltdowns in drs offices but I can say they are so much batter than his last office. They never tried to force him to do more than he wanted and tried working with him in ways he was comfortable. He loved the fish tank in the waiting room. The Dr, nurses, and reception were all very nice. The Dr spoke to my son in a manner that drew him in and didn't scare him away which I love as I want him to be able to build a relationship with the Dr so that he isn't scared as he gets older. Over all the visit was good. We were seen quickly as well compared to long wait times at other offices. read more

This place SUCKS. Staff is terrible and the Doctors just feel like they are going through the motions. Not caring. My son broke his arm and we've been waiting for a cast for a while and we keep calling! Only to find out the Dr hasn't even called the place for the cast.. also getting ahold of them is a nightmare. No way to call the dr for questions. And if it's close to closing time (even 2 hrs before closing) they won't answer their phones.. i have so many more examples of poor service or blowing stuff off till the next visit.. i went here as a kid and it was good, now i have kids and my kids go here unfortunately. The bad reviews did scare me when I was first looking for a Dr for her but my daughter is 4 now and we love it for her. It's been an amazing 3 years. My daughter is autistic and all the staff make her feel comfortable. Dr. Howell is an amazing listener and takes his time with my daughter. We have seen other providers there and had a good experience but if we can we always try to book with Dr.Howell. Also, Lupita is amazing!! Absolutely the worst office, they take so long just for you to be seen for 10 minutes. My daughter couldn't breathe n I took her in to be seen by her doctor (because I thought I could trust him n Would see a baby right away) they turned away a 4 month old patient because of no walk ins. Laddies in the front are very unprofessional n need more training. One star because the front staff never pick up the phone and every time I have submitted an online appointment request they never ever call me back. I always have to give them a call and like I mentioned they hardly pick up. It always takes me about 3-4 hours of trying before they answer. Such a drag! I also feel the doctors are very rushed and brush things off like if nothing is wrong. I just feel that for a first time mom and taking your child here just isn't the place because they don't take their time to address your concerns as you'd like. read more

My kids have been going here for the past 5 years. But since the big change of staff and reciptionist everything has been a terrible experience. Lupita is the most unapproachable/helpful receiptionist I have ever encountered. Always putting you on hold for 10mins sometimes more. Which is totally weird. I had an appointment at 2:55 I was literally given a paper that said I had an appointment at 2:55 ! but when I arrive they said it was at 2:40 and they completely refused to see my baby. my son is only two weeks old! this is only his second appointment here and he was supposed to get a screening because he has more than 10 mL of fluid in his kidneys and they literally sent me home! UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT OFFICE! I have never reviewed anything in Yelp: the front office clearly has no idea how to do their job. I called and mentioned me and my daughter have PPO insurance & on my insurance website, it shows that their office is in-network practice. Yolanda reiterates that they do not honor my insurance and could not find my member ID through the website. I said I can email my eligibility and the link stating their office listed as an in-network provider. She replied that their office has no email but I can fax it... Dr. Saied has been my daughter's doctor since she was born in 2015 and he is an absolutely amazing doctor. All the problems we have had is dealing with the service in the office and the other doctor Dr. Torgeson. My daughter has severe asthma and Dr. Torgeson refused to fill out the paperwork so, I had to wait almost a week until Dr. Saied was in office again (since he only works Tuesdays and Thursdays) and ask him to fill the paperwork resulting in me missing another day of work without proper documentation and another 15 dollars copay for the appointment and a 25 dollar copay for the paperwork to be filled out. Yeah all that sucked but the last straw was that I needed my FMLA paperwork updated almost 3 weeks ago and I was told I would be called when it was ready. After a week and a half of not hearing from the office, I called and asked when the paperwork would be ready and they said it's been ready for a week. Although, I never received a call! So because I cannot take anymore time off without the paperwork that was due a month ago I asked if they could mail it. I was told that they were going to mail it Monday. Now it's a week later and my husband calls and they say that it wasn't mailed until Friday evening and I shouldn't expect it until the end of the week. Normally, things like this don't bother me but, my daughter's health is everything and she had an asthma attack last week and I wasn't able to be with her due to the lack of paperwork. It seems like Dr. Saied is phasing out for retirement so the only gem at the practice may be gone soon. Having a great doctor is extremely important but, if your child has any conditions and needs consistent care than consistency is also extremely important and you must have both. You won't find that at Elk Grove Pediatrics. read more

But they do get upset if you are late even if you will have to wait the longest time after. So glad I switched pediatricians for my kids. After being placed with two foster children from another county I was told that this office would accept MediCal. They would not see my children until the MediCal form listed the children's county of origin as Sacramento, a change which they insisted I could make. I had to make several phone calls and finally was able to get a MediCal eligibility worker to call the office to explain how MediCal works. Elk Grove Pediatrics refused to accept our situation. I have had to find a new doctor and undo the changes to the kids' insurance that Elk Grove Pediatrics required of us. (Like I stated, several phone calls.) read more

My three youngest children have been going here since birth and they are now 15,12 and 9! Two of them were born with major heart defect and the doctors here caught it immediately after birth. I cannot say enough good things about them! LOVE them and refuse to go to anyone else. They work well with with the Cardiologist and other specialists that we have to deal with too. We usually see Dr. Howell and Dr. Saied both are excellent! Dr. Padamish was awesome too but she retired. They are great about getting you in if you have an emergency. I have loads of pediatricians in my area but I drive 30 minutes out because I feel that the doctors here have my children's best interest and care about their health. Front office staff is horrible though. Rude and unorganized!!! read more

I came here by recommendation of my dr when I was prego with my monsters for them. The best decision ever made. The entire staff at Elk Grove Pediatrics is absolutely wonderful. They are so personable and make you feel like family when you bring your kids in. They have always been able to squeeze us in, when "urgent" need arises. My kids don't even mind getting shots when they come to the dr office! :) ha Excellent care, excellent staff!! read more

The providers at EG Pediatrics have been fine, but the office is not efficient and in general the care is less than adequate. The front office staff are nice in person but don't exactly set the world on fire in responding to patient requests or going out of the way to enhance the patient experience. And don't call there unless you like elevator music because you will be hearing it while you wait on hold for what seems like hours. I have twice been given incorrect vaccination records necessitating return trips to the office and have now been waiting 3 days for a doctors note for my child to return to school (so 3 days of missed in person learning). I will be taking my child's medical care elsewhere. read more

This was our first visit here and and I removed a star because aside from arriving 15 mins early and still having to wait an hour before being called in, this place was ok and the staff was cool as well. Came here in 2012 when my daughter was born and saw Dr.Howell... he was GREAT! Fast forward to now, March 2017. My daughter went in for a physical and to get her shots and saw Dr.Sekar. Unfortunately, they were out of two of the shots that my daughter needed and failed to notify us prior to our appointment so we had to schedule another appointment the following week. That day a stye was starting to form on her right eye and Dr.Sekar advise that if it doesn't go away within a week, for us to take her back in. Today, my daughter had to go back for her last 2 shots. The stye is still there but has gotten worse, however the doctors refused to address it claiming that they were too busy and that we would have to make another appointment. This is unacceptable. We will be looking for a new pediatric provider who actually cares about their patients and make them their priority. read more

I chose this office because of the high rating. Boy, was that a mistake. VERY UNORGANIZED. The office staff are all recent graduates who have no prior experience. It is very frustrating when I receive different and wrong directions for any of my concerns because apparently they don't communicate and it's apparent that training is not conducted for newer staff members. They also lack professional conduct and customer service. Appointments feel rushed and I always end up leaving with more questions. I've brought in simple paperwork to my son's appointments before and they refuse to sign it at the time of the appointment even though it literally takes 2 seconds, they say it will be processed within 3 business days. They charge $$ for immunization cards. My son needed special formula and I've spoken to his doctor at an appointment about getting the prescription so insurance can cover it. For 6 weeks they didn't submit a prescription to the pharmacy even after the pharmacy called AND faxed them nearly everyday. They claimed to have sent it and finally returned my call 6 weeks later to blame the pharmacy for "possibly losing it." Within the 6 weeks of waiting for the prescripthion, I've had multiple people from the office give me FALSE information such as "oh we don't write prescriptions for special formula" etc. For my son's 12 mo, they had us go to quest for blood work. Other offices do it at the office and it's a simple poke in the finger. Overall this office has been a headache!!! I've finally been able to switch to another one.
