I just came back from my honeymoon and I wanted to rave about how beautiful my Wedding day was thanks to Ralph the caterer at the Elks Lodge in Chula Vista. Ralph made sure that my wedding ceremony and reception was exactly what I wanted. The food was SPECTACULAR and my guests still rave about it. The salmon and the roast beef were cooked to perfection! The reception was absolutely beautiful. I received stellar service and I highly recommend Ralph and his crew for any special events! If I can give this place 6 stars, I would!! It's large and great parking. Just a little outdated but the set up is good and like the open backyard area.

The lodge RV Park has a new Hosts, Kc and Terry. They are helpful, friendly, answer the phone, and now do reservations, so you no longer have to risk showing up and not getting a site. Also no more long term residents living in their RVs here and now the place is friendlier and much cleaner. The lodge also has alot of activities. No hours posted on the websites so while I was in the area made a stop. Most of the other lodges that I have been to open around 11, but here not till 3 even though there were people inside playing cards. It was a little confusing and unexpected. read more

My husband and have stayed at this Elks lodge many times. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there are new hosts for the RV park. Terry and KC are the best. They have taken an active interest in cleaning up the campground area, introducing the availability of reservations, as well as updating the patio area. They are hard workers and a great addition to the lodge staff. Also, Cy, the volunteer gardener, is remarkable. The Elks Park has never looked so nice! read more

Attended a birthday party. Appetizers available. Nice selection & the fruit was outstanding. Buffet of hot food was nicely done. Servers were attentive & there was a variety if items. We arrived a little late in the day the camp host was very nice and helpful. She let us pick the space we wanted. The spaces are a little tight. They have 30 n 50 amp service, water and sewer in our space. There is a nice sitting area around the campfire. Every night folks were sitting outside talking. There is also an area with tables, TV and a grill for the campers to use. I found this as a great amenity. Everyone we met were very nice! The lodge is very nice inside. We had breakfast Sunday morning. The menu options were from eggs, pancakes, chicken fried steak... reasonably priced Very close to the tijuana border. read more

I had my parents 50th wedding anniversary here at the elks lodge. Ralph ford and his team were absolutely amazing,professional and elegant. I highly recommend them. We will be back for more events with them! The bartenders were quick, efficient, and extremely friendly! I wish I could give them more stars. The food was exquisite . I had my 50th B-Day party at this Lodge and I have one word to say "Outstanding". The food was superior in taste and quality and the customer service was excellent. Ralph the caterer went above and beyond to accommodate me to make my event a total success. The establishment was clean and well kept. I would definitely take my business here again!! Tonight we attended a dance at the Elks Lodge Chula Vista, the catering and hall was Ok service. No stars For the bartenders Josh and his lady partner are the most rudest people with no customer service and communication towards us customers. I order 2 vodka tonics and Josh made them and my wife and I took them back to explain to them that we didn't taste any liquor and their reply to us was you get what you pay for you should had upgraded , now he kept on saying that towards my wife and my wife said ok we will pay extra for upgraded vodka after the 4th time josh saying you get what you pay for with a rude tone to my wife I told him to back off and to don't disrespect my wife and all him need to do was to communicate to me!!! Then with very tough tone I told him to upgrade our drinks and I will pay extra then Josh acting all dramatic and took deep breath with a surprise look on his face made our drinks, once he was done making our drinks he told me he's not serving us anymore. My wife went back up there 1 later to buy some drinks and went to different line and Josh lady partner went out of here way to tell my wife she not serving her because she attack them, my wife told her I never attack you nor my husband attack you, and ask her if she knew how to use that word? All my wife said my husband was defending my towards Josh. So, josh got loud towards my wife and yelled for security. I don't recommend anybody to go to the Elks Lodge Chula Vista moving forward the worst customer service in there bar and Josh and that lady will be rude towards them and won't communicate well with the community. I challenge the Elk's Lodge Chula and just watch the customer service that there bartenders give to us the community. read more

Having attended another great event at the lodge I thought I would give kudos to the staff and Ralph at R&B catering. I have used the lodge and Ralph for years now from my daughters sweet sixteen party to a dear friends funeral to other great celebrations and large corporate events. Each event was unique but one thing remained consistent, the service I received was top notch! Ralph has always been very pleasant and reasonable and each time the food, all different types, was simply amazing! If you have budget restrictions Ralph will customize a plan to work for you and still achieve a great event! AAAAAAAAA++++++++ in my book! read more

I am still basking in the delight of last night's success. After many months of planning, my daughter's quinceañera finally happened. It was a great success thanks in large part to Ralph of R & B Catering. I cannot stress enough how happy I am with my experience with this venue. One of the top reasons I chose this place was the FOOD!! And boy was that the right choice. My daughter chose a Mexican themed menu of chile verde pork, mole and birria. My mostly Mexican guests raved about the food. I also opted to add chips and salsa as well as a dessert table-all top notch. Besides the food, I am super happy with the service and the attention to detail from Ralph. I highly recommend the Elk's Lodge and R & B Catering to anyone considering this venue. read more

Words cannot explain the great length that Ralph went through to help us make our daughter's Candyland themed Sweet 16 a success! From the moment that I met him, any and every time that I had an question, comment or concern...he was always available to assist me. Unlike other venues, the Elks Lodge is a one-stop shop! It has a huge indoor hall that holds up to 300 people. The hall can be broke down into three sections which you can pay per section according to your amount of guests. I only used two sections and it was so intimate and beautiful! It also has an outdoor party area where I had an inflatable photo booth set up. But, an outdoor wedding can take place. We picked Mexican food for our menu which was absolutely amazing! But, they offer a variety of appetizers, food, dessert and drink options. The cakes are so good!!! There is a separate bar for "grown" folks and a bartender is available! There are colorful chandeliers to give a complete elegant look! They fully draped the rooms to add a touch of class! They provided table, chair and napkin linens. They have a full wait staff that was so helpful and professional! They provided the glasses, plates, and utensils. Tables and chairs are included with the rental. There is a stage for the DJ to use! There is a nice dressing room area in the ladies restroom. There are two women and two men bathrooms. The Security was included in the rental too so we were able to enjoy the event without a worry! I can go on and on about everything because it was a wonderful experience. Ralph helped me stay focused and always gave me a good reality check on keeping a budget instead of encouraging me to spend frivolously. Everyone at the Elks Lodge was a joy to work with and Ralphs wife is also the sweetest woman ever! I will definitely use the Elks Lodge for future events! And I highly recommend them! read more

Elks Lodge in Chula Vista was very accommodating to my short fused request to hold a Celebration of Life. The food was delicious and the staff was accommodating. I received very nice compliments from my guests on the meal served and the location. R&B catering staff took good care of us. I will consider this location for another event. read more

Terrific event catered by Ralph !!! Had the pleasure to attend a thanksgiving event last night at the elks chula vista attended by over 70 people. My first time there. The food was fabulous and Ralphs staff was very friendly and attentive to all of our requests. It was a traditional dinner, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, and all the fixings including desert's. the food could have not been better. After dinner we where surprised that the Rhapsody singers performed a little concert for us. Sang the classics from the 20's to the 70's. I was a little skeptical at first, as they seemed a little old fashion, however I really enjoyed them. they are very talented. I will return whenever I get a chance. read more

My Daughter's Quince celebration on December 5, 2015 was an amazing experience!!! Ralph was professional, attentive and helpful and he always returned my calls promptly through out a year in planning our event. Our guest loved the delicious dinner Ralph prepared and the pastry bar was the best!!! His crew was also professional and courteous to us and our guests.
