I'm new to the area and was looking for a new stylist. I searched for local salons, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg area. I read the reviews on Yelp and Google and thought I would give it a try. When I called to schedule an appointment I asked for a recommendation for a stylist good with short hair. They recommended Lauren and scheduled me for an appointment. They were able to accommodate my schedule and got me in within 5 business days. This was great because I have a bad habit of waiting until my hair is unmanageable to make an appointment and normally I have to wait for a week. My appointment was with Lauren and we discussed what to do with my hair. I was open to any and all suggestions because, frankly I was fed up. We agreed on a style and I let her go to work. She was great to talk to and did an AMAZING job. She used a razor and blended the back of my hair so well. I have an A-line bob with stack and it lays perfectly!! I left the salon loving my hair, and that rarely happens for me. Normally, it takes up to a week for me to start to like it. I wish I could give these wonderful ladies 10 stars :) they are simply amazing. I deal with a chronic illness & have trouble sleeping which leaves me feeling like I always look tired... I had just spent time in the hospital & was feeling really bad about myself going into my appointment. I had to miss an appointment and that pushed my extensions back, which created more work for Elizabeth when I could finally make it in to get them moved up.. and she was so kind and gracious and did an amazing job. I went home today after she worked so hard to help get me back on track with my highlights/extensions and looked in the mirror and actually got teary because it had been so long since I had liked what I saw looking back at me. I am so grateful for Elle salon! I have met all the ladies and have had appointments with almost all of them. they are all wonderful and have such a desire to make their clients love their reflections. Elizabeth has a special place in my heart, as she is so very kind and talented. I would not want to trust any other salon to do my hair. read more

My stylist is Tina Parker. I followed Tina to Elle Salon when she joined their team. Tina is a gem - good at what she does and someone who makes you feel very comfortable. She has good instincts and skills. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences at the salon on the whole! The staff working the reception desk are always pleasant and friendly. You are offered something to drink when arriving, and the chat with the front desk staff is always inviting...whether you are on your way in, or making appoints and checking out. I was also impressed to see how the Salon periodically does some sort of program that helps donate to those in need (ex: customers "voting" for one of a few charities or causes at each visit). Email newsletters give nice little contests at times, and thankfully are about once a month - a good pace so you get updates but aren't being overrun with emails (which some other businesses do tend to do). read more

Absolutely love Elle Salon! My stylist is Lauren Strunk and she does a fabulous job on my hair. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating - and who loves nothing more than being pampered in such a comfortable environment! They offer so many services on their menu - always nice to have options! Lauren regularly introduces me to new products, one of which I have fallen in love with and use every day on my hair to give it the feel and look that i've been desiring for months now. Had it not been for Lauren (or Elle Salon) that never would have happened. Highly recommend! El run's the salon with such love and concern for her clients, I feel so taken care of there. They all take seminars and know the latest hair cuts and have all the fabulous new trends like eye lashes and hair extensions .... waxing..... I just love all the girls from Tina who is the best hair straightener in town.... Lauren who can wax anything and is amazing with eyelashes... Shayna is an awesome colorist. I've been going for years and would never go anywhere else. best place for your money. Who needs NY when we have EL Salon!!!!! read more

Tina is a five star stylist!! Her skills are amazing-especially with highlighting. I receive compliments often on my hair style and I have Tina to thank for that. With her warm and welcoming nature and sense of humor, I always look forward to my appointment with her. The receptionist is very sweet and adds to the exprerience of feeling pampered at this salon. I travel a half hour to get to the salon and it is definitely worth the effort. I highly recommend Tina to anyone who wants a great cut and highlights! read more

Elle Salon is the only place I will go to for my hair and beauty needs. I have been with my stylist, April, for many years and followed her to many salons; Elle Salon is, by far, my favorite. Everyone is friendly and helpful from the minute you set foot in the door. The salon is clean, and they pride themselves on using organic products. My hair has never been healthier. It is worth every penny that I spend to go to a salon that focuses on the care of their clients so much. read more

I've been going to Elle Salon for years! I'm a loyal customer to April, she is actually the best! Every time I come in, she knows EXACTLY what I want (even when I don't!)!!! She makes me look gorgeous every time I sit in her chair. I have full confidence in her style and abilities for coloring, cutting and fabulous styling! Awesome!, I went to Lauren for makeup and hair on my wedding day. I went as a basket of nerves and without doing a trial. I had never looked better. She was great and also so sweet. My bridesmaids also went with me and also turned out stunning! 5+ stars!!! read more
