In the early days of COVID this park was incredibly popular, with a parking lot full of cars and kids all over the play structure and running in the baseball field. As the time wore on, I guess going to a playground grew tiresome for many families and the crowds dwindled, which is when we decided to check it out. The park consists of a baseball field with chain link fence that separates the batting area from the road and the rest of the play areas. There's a nice share structure with picnic tables, a big playground with a few nice slides, swings and climbing areas, as well as a little self workout area on the opposite side. The park connects to a walking path that winds along a creek behind the houses, and offers some good bird watching! It even has bathrooms with automatic flush toilets! Best part is the play structure looks very safe and has a lot in place to keep the kids safe. I also love the fact the ground around the play structure is that soft impact rubber flooring should anything go wrong. I'm giving this park four stars because most of it is in great condition but you can see wear and tear on the structure itself, the picnic tables are pretty dirty and have some graffiti on them and the landscaping could use a little tube up. We love coming here though and will certainly be back.

They're technically not wrong because there is a little parking area where the map pin takes you but there's no sign and you can't see the park from the road so take a look at the map and pick one of the streets that goes up and around and you'll find the top of the park where the playground are situated. The spot has a lot going forward in terms of green space, with a nice big grassy area for picnics. Above that there is a sand pit that I can only assume is for volleyball, but I did not see a net and then next to it you'll find a basketball court. There's also an asphalt walking path that kind of runs around the grassy area and up towards these courts however, it's not exactly maintained or are the courts concrete surfaces, but other than that, it is very well maintained and nicely shaded for a meeting friends and hanging out. The playgrounds are also a bit on the older side, but my younger son not five years old found plenty to play with. This one's not a destination, but it could certainly be added to the rotation for something a bit more chill or if you wanted to have a large number of people kind of hanging out on the grass for games, etc.

We frequent Pah Rah and since we were on the opposite side of town, my kids and I brought our Crush drinks here and decided to play a bit. It was a beautiful day and the playground isn't as well kept as other parks, but it did the job. My son was able to disperse some energy and my daughter and I got some volleyball time in.

I'm not sure who came up with it, but it's a lot of fun for adults too. The crazy hoops are iconic here and it's so fun watching the kiddos give it a go. I also love that there's a playground for bigger kids, younger kids, and one for all. They also have a fantastic bike loop with exercise machines. The big field in the middle of the loop is used for sports practices and it's well kept as well! Did I mention tennis and pickleball? Well they have both here and there are always players on weekends but weekdays it's all good! Have you been?

There was absolutely no communication about these changes. For the price they charge, we expected a much more professional and reliable program. Overall, it was frustrating, overpriced, and not something we would recommend.

We still make it a habit to hang out afterwards for all parties. They serve alcohol at all times while they are open where my husband and our friend bought a glass of beer to drink during one of the classes for those rough mornings! The sportsdome is a nice alternative for sports from being outside offering a big field, practice field (both turf), basketball courts which can also serve as volleyball courts or even for use for soccer sprouts a time or 2. Sometimes the facility can be very busy as there can be different sports simultaneously happening at the same time in all areas, so parking may be limited, but the parking lot is large you should not have much trouble finding parking. Ladies Bathrooms are also clean. They offer ladies and men as well as family bathrooms located across from the basketball courts. I always see them being clean. All in all, the facility is pretty tidy and offer many trash cans so you can throw away your trash without having to walk far away.

LRC is the best gym in town, better than any commercial gym…read more There are 8 squat racks and 4 benches. That alone tells you how much better this gym is compared to others. Other gyms are bigger, but only have 2 or 3 squat racks. This gym also has rubber plates, so you don't have to worry about breaking the plates when you drop/rack your weight. You can be as loud as you want! There is also an open area for crossfitters, 2 basketball courts, diving pool and a lap pool, and 4 racquetball courts. If you are a student or faculty at the University of Nevada, take advantage of this gym! If you're not a student/faculty, it might be harder to access this gym, as you might need to buy an alumni pass and/or a magnetic ID card to get in. And that's on top of your gym pass. So the only reason why I'm giving this review 4 stars is the price. But you do get what you pay for!
