I've been here a few times, but most recently took my little one on a Sat. I think there was a bday party or family group that was going on. It' was quite busy with many kids. I don't mind that. But there was only one worker so he was doing rental equipment, and money and giving people rules and getting auto belays that went up and belaying kids. It seemed like too much for one person. We had to wait quite a bit to just check in before getting started. I didn't mind too much, but we were already functioning on a really tight window. I would imagine that guy was stressed out too. I felt bad for him. Hopefully north peak can arrange for more than one person on Sat afternoons.

I know there is a climbing gym located downtown Reno right on Virginia Street named Basscamp but this place has way more to offer! They have a lot of top roping and lead climbing available for those that are experienced. They offer bouldering as well too with many routes! I have been climbing in the same for over 10 years and I would recommend it to anybody looking to get started with rock climbing. They offer equipment rentals and they will teach you what to do if need be. Next time you have free time and are looking for something even if you've never done it before check this place out!

There's free yoga and core classes for members and you get a free pass for a friend once a month. It seems everyone agrees that it's a "soft" gym - the V-ratings are easier to complete than the same rating at a different gym but man it makes you feel good! I think we just have really good setters who understand the flow of the climb. Community night is on Tuesday and you meet tons of like-minded climbers there!

Crazy amount of snow so not much outdoor activities accessible for my energetic 10 years old. The front staff was great and informative. The crowd of climbers is very unique. Young trendy urban look and of course in fantastic shape. My daughter was nervous at first and took a minute to shake off her shyness. But she started tackling it like the champ she is. And best of all some of other climbers gravitated to helping recommend some things to help and cheering her own. By the time we left she was properly tired out and left with a beaming. We can't recommend Becca enough! She has been our son's swim instructor for the past year. Our son…read morelikes the water, but he lacked the safety techniques. Becca made him a safe swimmer and improved all of his skills. Specifically, Becca used various, innovative techniques to encourage our son to try new things and eventually swim on his own. She tailored his swim lessons to accommodate his busy nature! We can't say enough positive things about Becca. We also received status newsletters that explained our son's strengths, improvements, and plan going forward. Our son looked forward to his time with Becca and will miss her greatly.

They loved all the arcade & video games, especially Minecraft. The ticket redemption counter has a good selection of prizes. The tumble town area is a nice large climbing structure with slides, a bounce house and smaller toddler area. Perfect for little kids. The staff were all really friendly and nice. We ended up with some late nights playing until the arcade closed & resort security were a nice presence in the hallways, always had their eye out for the little kids making sure they had caregivers with them. My boys also enjoyed the GSR pool which is huge with lots of shallow areas on the perimeter.

It is under construction right now so parking is also hard to come by so we had to park far but they offer valet that I might do next time! At the end we also got to pick out prizes and everyone had 500 tickets to choose something. It was so much fun for my kids and we will definitely be back!

I didnt realize i was even working up a sweat as it was just a great time learning with other interested parties to grow our core and upper body strength. The guys in the group really wowed me. They did so well. Its a great community vibe. I didnt feel ashamed and would very much recommend it to anyone. Its fun and fashionable. One young lady wore a cute outfit. She has done this before. Parking is in the street. Its not hard to find a spot, but give yourself some time to get around. It does get pretty hot inside so bring water. Lots of moving around. I got the pleasure of attending the grand opening of this beautiful pole dancing fitness studio. It's located in downtown Reno. We got to see the instructor perform and show off their skills with a great DJ. They were offering some great deals on their classes including BOGO rates. It was such a Party in there. I can't wait to attend a class here. It looks so much fun. It's downtown so there is only street parking available.

I was there for about a year, and more often than not we found equipment that wasn't working, which was very frustrating. I did point out on one of the machines once that a belt was getting ready to break and they immediately took it out of service, but when you go upstairs, a lot of the treadmills and whatnot are not working. The other problem here is the pool area. Not the pool itself, just some of the folks that use it. There are signs everywhere that say you must be wearing proper attire to go swimming, and yet I saw people in underwear frequently. It was brought up to the management, but it continued to happen. In the end, I didn't feel like this was a gym that would support the goals that I have.
