Lee even trimmed around a birds nest to preserve it instead of just hacking off the branch it was on. I received a relatively prompt call back. On the day of the estimate, Lee Eller was on time with a pleasant demeanor. All the questions I had were answered and a write estimate was presented on the spot. The estimate was competitive with the others I received. With the price and impression of Lee I choose, Eller's Tree Service. On the day of the work, the crew was on time. There were two main guys with another one coming later to supervise and work. They worked efficiently and were done with everything in about 4 hours. The trees being removed were in a tight spot between the house and a wall. Best landscape guy I found. I did multiple quotes and wasted time doing it. Two other landscapers referred me to him because he is really good. I had two stumps cut out on a 45 degree slope. He cut them out in two hours for the exact cost I had in mind. He cleaned up and was super thorough with the job. I'm very particular and looked over everything after he left. We've used Eller's Tree Service in the past with good results. Recently we booked 2 weeks ahead for an appointment. By 11 AM no one had shown up for an 8 AM appointment. We called and they said they were not coming but would call and set up a new appointment. After several days, no one called. We called and made a new appointment. The soonest they could come out was 3 weeks, so we made the appointment. On the morning they were supposed to arrive they called and said "They had a much bigger job they had to attend to. I'll call you." Then he hung up. I never heard from them again. Not a good way to treat any customer, especially a long time client. We were stunned. read more

We have approximately 18, very tall, pine trees, along with several other trees, that Eller's Tree Service has maintained throughout the years (they have come out 3 times.) I find Lee Eller and his workers knowledgeable, prompt, caring with their work, and excellent with clean up after the job. Our trees never look "chopped," but instead "lacy" which allows the wind to blow through the branches. Dennis, one of Lee's tall tree climbers, was attached to a rope this year, going from limb to limb, loudly proclaiming, "I love my job!" If you love birds, don't trim trees in the Spring when birds nest. We did one year and Lee's workers searched through the branches in the waste pile and rescued a baby bird for a grateful mother. This year Lee also took out 3 stumps and planted a Crape Myrtle for us. We will use Eller's Tree Service for many years to come! read more

Wish I could actually comment about their service but they never showed up for the initial appointment. I waited but they never even called. I tried to reach them that day and for a few days afterwards. Needless to say, they were always difficult to contact. I called the tree service because we had a tree that had roots that were buckling our walkway and driveway. Lee said he could trench a line between the tree and the driveway. He brought out a huge machine and it ended up that he trenched right through two sprinkler heads. He showed me one of them, but didn't offer to fix it. Lame. read more
