the last time i went here, the only worker on shift broke down, yelled at a group of teenagers to leave the store, and then vented to me and other customers about how they were only being paid minimum wage and could not pay rent with that kind of salary. i felt uncomfortable and hadn't been back since, but i decided to return because i needed to get some judydoll products. it hasn't really changed much. merchandise is still overpriced, the store is small and disorganized. i keep hearing about how horrible the owner is to the workers and to those who collaborated with the owner, so i probably won't be back again until i feel the need to drop over $20 on a small keychain when it probably only costs $5 on aliexpress. read more

My kid loves this place. She can buy vocaloid merch and other Japanese goods. It's bright and neatly arranged. Staff was nice. They have a membership program and their card has a cute Shiba Inu on it. My kid got Megurine Luka and Rin Kagamine in the vocaloid blind bags but wants Len too ... so we'll be back. Owner treats workers badly. The teens or young adults that work there are constantly barked at. I went with my elementary school aged daughter and even she noticed how bad the workers are treated. I've been coming here for a long time and although the Sanrio merch is super cute, it's crazy how they've doubled the price of everything now just because they're expanding. They have a very diverse selection but the store aisles are so tiny I can't even imagine more than two people traversing through one. Their ellicor packaged items are pretty fairly priced but I would say most everything else, especially the makeup, is overpriced. The worst part of this was the cashier, who started explaining about pokemon decks to me when I asked where was the best place to get some cards. I meant if they had any trading card stores here. Literally, all they had to do was say Target instead of explaining about the different decks and boasting about Target as if I aren't already aware of that. I visited this mainly because of the picture they showed online, I suggest shopping on their website if anything, going to the physical store is disappointing, barely any corgi item or the item shown online, and most of them are knockoff or item with a sticker of their logo on it. The aesthetics of the online website are so pretty but the store itself is small and everything is cramp together you can barely walk without feeling you are going to knock something out of its stand. I'm not sure what to think of this store. It's kind of a chaotic mess in the sense that there's no real rhyme or reason to where items are placed and so much stuff everywhere. Most of it does seem really cheap and heavily marked up. It's really tough to find authentic items. I always feel a bit weird about stores that mix authentic items with non authentic items. I thought I dodged all the bootleg items with my purchases but did end up with two bootleg items and I'm pretty bummed about it. They make sure you know all sales are final. I kind of feel like it's bad practice to do that and not give people the opportunity to return something. To me that shows that they know their items are not authentic and don't want people realizing it and constantly returning them. It causes me to question what items are authentic in the store?
