If they're okay with their clients being put at risk physically, I'm not sure why anybody would trust them with their care. The response I received to this review contradicts nearly everything I was told when calling the office. We were told that the cancellation fee would apply despite the ice on the roads. Icy roads = Inclement weather, and it's ridiculous to assert otherwise.

No Wait List. Really?…read more I am searching for a specific type of therapist, and found 3 that fit the bill at Nystrom in Maple Grove, MN. However none of them were accepting new clients. So I asked to be put on a wait list in case a slot opens up. I was told to periodically "call back" to check if there is a space. Really? Nystrom is a large business with 41 clinics across Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. They have the resources to add a wait list feature to their website, or have the receptionist/scheduler keep a written wait list. Apparently Nystrom doesn't care very much about how much trouble their clients have to take to get in to see a therapist.

I went to two monthly appointments before my doctor decided to call my next one off on the day of due to "illness." I thought this was strange, due to the very strict attendance policy they lay out for their patients (patients have to pay a missed appointment fee). Nevertheless, I gave it a pass and figured I would reconnect with them later to schedule a new appointment. Boy, am I glad I didn't. During a visit with my primary physician, I learned that the doctor I had been seeing (Dr. Sandra Schleter) had me taking a medication called buspirone at nearly 2x the normal dosage. Not only that, but after researching online, I found out that all the warnings associated with buspirone state that one should only be on it for a maximum of 5 weeks. I was on it for 8. Ironically, I feel much better since quitting this medication than I did while I was on it! And here's the icing on the cake: on 01/14/18, nearly 2 months after my last appointment with these people, I have received a bill for $14.79 with no explanation of the charges. My appointments were always fully covered -- why am I being charged now? Disputing the charges ASAP. Do not deal with these people if you can avoid it!

I called to inquire and have it corrected, and instead was told "too bad" by the therapist and then hung up on. Yikes. I was seeing this therapist for help with treating my anxiety - but since their business practices and troubling customer service seem instead to exacerbate my anxiety, it looks like I will need to find a new therapist, asap.

The Minnesota ketamine health and wellness clinic is one of the few institutions I'm aware of with their intentions facing outwards. By that I mean YOU. They are focused on you and your care and quality of life. This is a systemic ordeal throughout the clinic. Meaning whether from the front desk to the owner or vice versa every person or mechanism in place is in your best interest. I've had nothing but positive experiences here and have absolutely no reason to change that train of thought ever. Sometimes I have a tough ketamine session, the owner (Christy) is right there along with a nurse or two. They always alleviate the situation and are pure and simple salt of the earth people!! The owner, Christy then will use her extreme knowledge and wisdom to help assist me in anyway possible from a tough ketamine experience or train of thought I'm struggling to articulate. I was getting tossed around the system for my psychiatrist needs and decided to do medication management with Lindsey which was one of the best decisions I made this year! She's smart as a whip, implements some very practical principles which make life easier when dealing with multiple rx's and insurance. That alone was a blessing in disguise. Not to mention you can tell she is truly invested, wants to improve people's lives who are stagnant and simply suffering. After my third infusion I thought it wasn't working so I was going to stop. Well a few days later I had some thoughts pop into my head about things I had previously thought negatively about; however, my feelings were changed about them. I was kind of blown away. So now it's been a year and I am so happy with the person I am today. Even other people tell me how I've changed. The office staff here are so amazing. They are very professional with a side of absolute compassion. I just love them like family. I've loved my treatment so much that I have added a Ketamine Integration Therapist who works here. My therapy is going so well. She is amazing. I've also added an MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC professional to work with me on medication management. One other great thing is I am a 59 year old woman and was finally clinically diagnosed with ADHD and finally being treated for it. That has made the biggest difference as well.
