I underwent a long series of dental surgeries, root canals, crown placements, reconstructions, and finally, the creation of partial dentures covering months! Because Dr. Andrew Sperle had been my dentist for many years already, I knew I wanted to entrust him with this massive and intricate series of tasks.
I could write page after page describing how Dr. Sperle expertly did everything he could to save my natural teeth, and how on one occasion, made temporary lower-front teeth out of nothing but dental mortar, which were supposed to have lasted only a couple of weeks, but were still in place and strong -- and looking great, after an entire year because of delay on my part!
The heavy-duty work covering my entire mouth began in Sept. 2013. It was carefully planned like a military campaign, and Dr. Sperle was the Commanding General. He planned every phase, made every contingency arrangement, coordinated with a dental surgeon where those services were required, and met several unplanned-for difficulties with ease and mastery.
Understand that, inside your mouth, an error in spacing of one millimeter can be disastrous! It can cause your entire bite to be out of alignment, cause constant pain and aggravation, waste enormous amounts of your time in repeated efforts to correct problems, and incur considerable expense. But not for ME, because I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Sperle as my dentist!
I've known so many people my age, in their 60's, who have had their lives saddened and made miserable because of dental problems. And believe me -- none of them ever get "better" on their own! Whether you just need a checkup, or upper and lower partial-dentures, complete with root canals, and crowns, do yourself a huge favor and before you take any course of action, at least make an appointment with Dr. Sperle and get his opinion on how you should proceed, what it will involve, and approximately what it is likely to cost. Just this past September, the work was all finally completed, taking longer, again, because of more delay on my part. But now my partial dentures are finished, fit perfectly, and if I do say so myself, I look, and feel GREAT!
