I will say the first time I went in was a year ago and the bartender rubbed me the wrong way with his rudeness. However Shannen did an event for us a few months back and said she was there and to give it another shot. We did and I am absolutely happy we gave it a second chance. I've lived in the area for the past year+. My first time ever in the bar was tonight. I was having a good time until I was told randomly that I could not purchase drinks anymore. I was not told a reason why. Im a Hispanic/Jewish male and felt totally uncomfortable,I was looked at differently,and could not purchase drinks for some reason? My money is as good as anybody else's. My husband and I stopped by here on a recent date night. The night we went there was not a line, however, it was PACKED inside. Like, RIGHT when you walk in, there are people. We find our way to the bar, considering how busy it was, I was anticipating on standing there for a bit. But, the bartender was attentive and got our order quickly. I then stroll over to the restroom. It is clean but, if my memory serves me correctly, there is only one stall...for a girls bathroom?! This looks like a fun place to go dancing. It feels like Bobby's kind of, but with less weirdos. Everyone there looked to be about 26 years old. Like everyone. I wish I could give this place zero stars! Ladies do NOT go here! My friends and I went and my friend had two vodka redbulls (she didn't want to drink to much because she had work early the next morning). She must've gotten drugged either by the bartender or the trashy drunk lady who stayed and talked at our table for 15 minutes. After only two drinks, she does not remember the entire night and I had to carry her home. She does not remember the whole next day either. Not sure what to say about this place. Last time I was there it smelled like nasty farts. The security and ropes make it seem like a club, but it's not but the music is too loud to hear yourself think much less socialize or meet people but if you are dancing you're probly the only one or two or three... The lighting is like a cheesy disco frat house and the fake marble black bar goes nice with the cement floors (super tacky). I like the dart boards and there are some cute girls usually. I wont go and generalize a bar as full of "d bags" or not full of "d bags" like some others. I have been here multiple times with a friend who likes it, but my opinion is that this place has nothing special to offer to me personally and I find the atmosphere less than welcoming, the music boring and the decor tasteless and unoriginal. My friends and I decided to try Elliot's out to have some fun this weekend, unfortunately that is the exact opposite of what we got. We just wanted to dance and have a good time when some people possibly a gang kept eyeing us down and wanted to fight us for having fun. They told us, "Get the fuc* out of their seat" when we were sitting there the whole time. I felt like I was going to get jumped so I went to the bouncer to warn him and tell him what was going on come to find out the other bouncer was with the gang and one of the girls gave him money to let them jump me. I was like is this real life??... I will never go back to a trashy environment like that that allows people to feel unsafe and encourages people to get beat. read more

It's a hidden treasure in Fresno, first time I ended in this place to have a drink and I was impressed, great atmosphere, DJ, Karaoke its Thursday. I had an old fashion like 7 of them and after the second one the bartender who was a sweetheart made it to my taste was great. All together I give this a 10 star joint, a place where all Fresnans should visit and make it their hangout spot in Northeast Fresno. Decent small bar, clean and friendly. It's far from The Office 1580(previous name, different everything). It used to be a classy cocktail lounge with amazing food menu and staff. The place is really clean for the most part. They have decent music and darts. It seems like most of the people there know each other and hang out there often. There is a cigar lounge next door which is cool too. The drinks were priced fairly and the bartenders were nice. It is kinda clubby so I'd avoid going there if you just want to have a drink in peace. This bar has had several names/owners in the past... second time here at Elliot's and I will never go back to give them business. Everything went fine throughout the time there (good music/dj & had 1 mixed drink), however when they closed (they close earlier due to being in a neighborhood surrounding), my friends and I were outside waiting for our Uber and their security guards/manager came yelling at us that we needed to leave the parking area and we were not allowed to stand in their parking lot. They were rude and disrespectful and could've handled the situation a lot better. It was embarrassing to see how they acted, yelling at us to leave the parking lot after we just gave them business while waiting for our ride. Terrible customer service. So tonight I went to the bar that I spent many a day and night at over the past 2 years- Elliott's bar. I have never created problems and made many friends including the bartenders. Even after the "DJ" and I split up- I never created problems. I went in there tonight because my closest friend wanted to be there. I was asked- no I was told- to leave because they wanted "him" to be comfortable there. The bouncers were clearly uncomfortable and didn't feel right about what the new owners were instructing them to do. These guys need a lesson in how to properly run a business- which is NEVER get involved in people's personal business. It's not how you run a business. Sorry for my bartender friends that have to deal with such people that are clearly inept at running their business. read more
