If I could give a zero, I would!! My dad had an account for…read moreMANY years. After he passed, his account was frozen, even after having all legal documents submitted from the attorney!! After 2 months, account was finally released, only to still get the runaround trying to deposit a check, although I'm on the account!! I personally had an account there for 20 years! After the treatment we received, I opened up a new account elsewhere!! Horrible customer service!!!

In order to close a dormant Health Saving Account out or do a withdrawal, HSA employee asked me to…read moredo a cash deposit or even few coins. WHAT?? Then they asked me to do a withdrawal of a dollar. no cash given and then come back the next day to do my transaction! WHAT?? What if I had written a check or worse used a debit card??? How about when the transaction rejects, take off the dormant standing and let it post. Customer service confirmed the procedure when I called them. IRS WOULD LOVE TO KNOW THEY ARE HAVING CUSTOMERS MAKE A DEPOSIT OR WORSE WITHDRAW MONEY TO GET AN HSA ACCOUNT TO WORK!!! Think twice about using them for HSA accounts at least!
