The park itself is nice but you have so many people that will not pick up after their dogs. Had one just yesterday stand there while her dog did #2 right beside me and walked off. SMH Every once in awhile you will have a RUDE owner that doesn't want your dog playing with their dog when their dog came up to yours. This is a black man that sits on a bench by the road with a German Shepherd. Happened around 5:30pm. The dog is very playful and both were having fun. Awful person!! read more

Awesome!! I am dog sitting for 4 dogs who have high energy and no fenced in yard. I took them two-by-two to this dog park and they had a BLAST! The area is massive and features all sorts of terrain for them. There's a heavily wooded section, which my hunter-brained dogs loved. It's so big that several times I lost track of where they were, but luckily it was well fenced and they were safe the whole time. I look forward to taking more of my clients' dogs here!! read more

On our last day in Nashville, I had to find a dog park for Orson to run. I asked quite a few people where the park was but still had trouble locating it. It was worth it when I found it though. I was definitely hoping that there would be an opportunity to expend his energy so that he would sleep on the drive back. This park is huge! There is a path that goes around the entirety of the park. Owners can walk with their dogs or do laps while they play. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to catch my puppy because he loves to run and be chased and there was no way that I could catch him... *insert 2lb of dog treats* But seriously, he had an absolute blast! All of the dogs that were there were super friendly, the owners were friendly, and they answered my questions about navigating the park. We had about 2 hours to kill, so I took my laptop in to get some work done. I know that when we get back to Nashville, this will be the park of choice. He had SO much fun! The only complaint is that most of the owners don't pick up their dog's waste. Just be aware of that and be careful where you step. **As an FYI, I was informed that there have been a lot of car break ins at the park because there is a ring in the area, so I was glad that I brought my computer in with me** read more

I recently moved to Nashville and have been trying out several dog parks in the area; this is the nicest by far!! Your GPS may get you lost on the way here (it is NOT near the skatepark, it IS near the golf course), but once you find it, you will love it. Plenty of parking for you next to the entrance (2 big lots). The dog park is a large grass field, with a 0.25 paved sidewalk in the middle, if you feel like doing laps. Most owners are walking the sidewalk (makes for a nice exercise break) and are keeping an eye out on the dogs in the middle. Along the outskirts of the grass field, are trees and bushes with paths through them (the pups seem to like to meander through them). The owners are nice, the dogs are nice; I've been several times without any issues or bad encounters!! Really beautiful (and big!!) park. Only thing I would add- would be a couple extra water fountains or bowls around the park (for the dogs)! The only current one available is by the entrance of the park, near the enter/exit gates, and your excited and HOT pup may not remember when he/she is playing on the opposite side. read more

Love this place. It has a great walking track to go around with your pups. It's very large so you don't end up with some of the tension you get in smaller dog parks. Only negative is there is one place on the path that always floods when it rains and of course all the dogs go straight for the puddle, leaving us with lots of dirty paws. My pups love going there. This dog park at Two Rivers Park has a huge grassy field, with a paved .3 mile path going around the perimeter. There are lots of shady spots, benches, rocks, and a patio. It was densly populated with dogs and humans alike. The puppers I was with was fully entertained exploring the dogs, trees, and giant rocks. I was just as pleased getting my cardio in. The dog park is adjacent to Two Rivers Park, which includes over 300 acres, so there's a lot to fulfill your time after your dog is tuckered out. read more

Love the dog park, love the park in general for walking, recycling, etc. I just want everyone to be very cautious. My van was broken into last Thursday and they stole my belongings. (First before you say anything, everything was hidden, nothing was able to be seen even from the window.) The police said unfortunately they target women at parks especially and at Two Rivers there were about 80 break-ins within 2 months. I personally will not be going back because I don't feel safe in a place where I was targeted. I want others to be safe. This was in plain sight, a bright sunny day and people were walking/biking/with families/at the dog park. Stay safe. read more

In my opinion, this isn't just the best dog park in Nashville, it's the best dog park I've ever been to. It's huge for a dog park with lots of grass and shade. There is a paved walking path around the park, which is just great. My dog isn't really into playing with other dogs, but he had a lot of fun walking around the path with me without being restrained by a leash. My dog is a little guy (less than 10 lbs) but I actually prefer having one open park rather than separate areas for large and small dogs. When my dog does feel like playing, he likes to mingle with larger dogs because he is completely unaware that he is not the same size. Every one was very responsible and kept an eye on their dogs so I was never worried. The park is very new, but it seems like everyone is invested in keeping it nice and clean. I saw two different dog owners sweeping gravel off the sidewalks while I was there. My little one and I look forward to making this a regular trip. read more

Love this dog park, super spacious and the walking trail makes it easy to get your dog moving and keep the dogs more spread out if there are a lot there which I find helps with safety. The one downside is the parking lot, make sure to take any valuable with you, my car was broken into and I had some things stolen. read more

We take our 2 dogs there almost everyday. They get such a good workout their - I agree it is one of the best dog parks I've ever been to. One note is they are closed on Tuesdays for maintenance. We've noticed that during the winter they are only closed in the mornings. When we first discovered it in August, they were closed all day Tuesdays for mowing and general maintenance. If you'd like to take your dog out to socialize and tire them out, you can come here! There's picnic tables for you to sit at under a canopy, some benches if it's warm enough to read a book. There's a walkway you can walk at. Some things I'd recommend: DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN. Sometimes these dogs are NOT good around children. There is also a written rule not to bring children in. DO NOT BRING FOOD OR TREATS. Dogs can be aggressive. I saw this first hand. Someone wanted to feed a treat to their dog, another one comes up and that new dog got bit. DO NOT RUN. Some people don't train their dogs... and their first instinct to do after targeting someone running the path is to chase them down. Other than that, this park is enormous, beautiful! I have never had a problem, no ticks are found on my dogs here! read more

Took our pup here today and it was incredible! The place is huge with an open field and several patches of trees for the dogs to play in. It was fantastic and well kept with a nice fence and a vestibule system to get in and out of the enclosure and even complimentary bags. Despite being a little further down the road two rivers is our dog park of choice. You will find it (unsurprisingly) off the two rivers exit on Briley just past the McGavock High School. The park is just huge. It has multiple areas with different types of soil, grass, and things for your dog to get into. You will find a walking path that circles the entire park, perfect for following behind your dog while they play. The entrance has small gravel spread about it to prevent mud. There is a pavilion and multiple benches along with a water fountain. Do beware that the water fountains are non functional from Dec 1 till "spring" (usually sometime in March) so bring some water for you and the dog on those warm winter days we have. As you take the circular walking path deeper into the park you will find a wooded area with a small dry creek and then a large green field that is big enough for even the largest dogs to stretch out to a full speed gallop. There is also a wooded area up in the corner for dogs to bound through some brush. Beware if you have a dog that does not always come when you call, you may have a very hard time catching them in this park. More than once I've helped corner a pup reluctant to leave, using the bushes and woods along the perimeter to his advantage. Mud is not a huge problem but there are a few spots that get wet and hold water after a rain, particularly on the back edge of the walking path. If you have a smaller dog some caution may be warrented as there is no seperated play area for them. Overall though this park will satisfy most dog owners and your pup will leave happy and exhausted read more

Took our dog here In early August 2021. Long story short he ended up with some sort of mites or something. Treated it with apple cider vinegar and water with baking soda. It's doing better now and hair is growing back. We just chalked it up as a fluke. We went back to 2 rivers dog park 2 other times here recently and now we found a crap ton of baby seed ticks all over him and crawling all in our house now. We have washed and vacuumed and treated our doggie. Under the looking glass we could see that they where in fact seed ticks. Unfortunately we will not be back here. read more

I know my dog would give this park a 5, so I'm doing so as well. This park has a 1/3 mile paved loop around the park. The area outside of then loop is fenced, so your dog is free to run and enjoy the fenced in area. The park is well maintained and has a water station for your dog when you first enter. There are also multiple trash cans and dog poop bags for clean-up. Bring your dog and check out this fun little park. You'll both love it! read more

Best dog park in Nashville. Hands down. It is one, big, open dog park. There's a track that loops around so you can walk in a large circle if you want. There's a small, wooded area way in the back. There are large stones for sitting and plenty of trees for shade. I see dogs of all sizes here. My little two mostly prefer to keep to themselves and have never been bothered by big dogs here. The big dogs that love to run and play have plenty of room to do it. I hope the city will keep up with the grass so it stays green for a long time. I also like that the park is located right next to one of the trail heads for Nashville's greenway. Makes it convenient if you want to walk on a leash before or after. This park is truly a great addition to our dog-friendly city. read more

I road-trip all over the country with my dog and stop at dog parks everywhere. This is the best dog park I've been to so far. We came here in the evening after a long driving day, then returned in the morning before starting our next long driving day. This park is huge! I love that there's a walking path for humans in a large circle. It feels better than just standing around a muddy, grassy lawn area doing nothing while only the dogs are entertained. I took a nice walk doing 2 laps around while my dog played with the other dogs and somewhat stayed near me as I circled the park. There are large grassy expanses and tree/woodsy areas depending on your mood, as well as a ramada and picnic tables! read more

Took my new rescue pooch there today for the first time and she was in heaven. For starters, the dogs park is massive. There was at least 25 dogs there and plenty of running room for all of them. There is a paved trail that goes around the park if you want to walk while your pooch plays. There are water fountains but they turn them off in the winter. Pros: Huge, plenty of playmates, sunny and shady areas, water fountains, benches, plenty of parking, well kept grounds, considerate dog owners who do pick up after their pets, extra balls and leashes laying around if you forget yours and the list goes on. Cons: I've heard of car break-ins, so just be vigilant. It's not in a bad neighborhood. I wish the water fountains were on in the winter. I brought my own water and a bowl, but so many of the other dogs came over to drink that it didn't last very long and wished I had a 3rd bottle! read more
