Randomly decided to get tattoos. Dope shop that takes walk ins. It took me and my friends (mainly my friends lol) 2 hrs to decide what to get aha. The staff was patient, answered our millions of questions. My friends decided on words, in our handwriting to make it sentimental & I got a lady bug. These little tattoos took maybe 10mins (not really) quick & painless (for me). They were definitely pricey, but we did it for the experience. Good music in the shop. Shout out to Shane for my lady bug! & David who did my friend's tattoo!

Jacob was a consummate gentleman and a stellar artist thank you.

Woooooof, please avoid this place at all costs. Kicking myself for not reading reviews before walking in - hope this deters at least one person. Came in for a super simple crescent moon and thought there was no way anyone could mess up something so simple... obviously I was wrong. The line work was absolutely terrible, the curves are uneven.... Just really awful overall. As other reviews have mentioned, customer service is nonexistent. If you enjoy feeling like you're an inconvenience this might be the place for you. If you want a quality tattoo and to be treated with some common decency, take your business elsewhere! Update: Gary is the guy responsible for this atrocity on my arm!

Got my first tattoo here by Carlos. Very happy with it. Environment is very busy and the lady when you walk in is kinda rude but overall had a good experience.

    Los doing his work.

Carlos was my go to guy. His professionalism and skills made me want to go back, TWICE. I traveled from Hawaii to Texas to visit friends and ended up leaving with fresh TATTOOS!. I like how I told him what I had in mind, the size and purpose. He would sketch up the perfect tattoo. This is a very fast pace environment. People constantly coming in and out. They try to get as many people as possible. I don't recall the name of the female at the front desk but she was very straight forward not beating around the bush. I liked that. To others it might come off as somewhat rude but as a mentioned this location is busy! I had two other friends get artwork from two other artist and weren't disappointed. Good tattoos cost money. We also got to meet Oliver Peck when he did a random pop up. #inkmaster Don't forget to stop at there souvenir store for some cool T-shirts and stickers.

Customer service amazing! I'm a part of my daughter's entourage and she needed some quick piercing maintenance. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable and able to meet her needs. With the current state of affairs she provided professional, quick and health conscious service.

I went for the Friday the 13th this past week and I gotta say it was a great experience. I had an amazing artist that did my cowboy hat in my ankle. She was really sweet! I would for sure be going back whenever Im ready for another tattoo.

First of all, I will start by saying that I have only had great experiences at this shop, and all the work I've had done is the best of the best. This is a tattoo SHOP. If you want to wait 6 months on a waitlist to go to a tattoo STUDIO then be my guest. I have had work done at tattoo shops and tattoo studios, and the vibes are very different. Elm Street Tattoo, in my opinion, has a great overall vibe. The artwork/flash on the wall is amazing and I love the retro/old school vibe that it has. When you walk in it may be a bit overwhelming, but I have found everyone in the shop to be incredibly welcoming, from Boogie at the shop desk to Oliver who owns the place. As far as the quality of work goes, I have had 4 big pieces done on my leg by Oliver and they are all incredible, I couldn't be happier. My girlfriend also has 5 pieces done by Oliver and her work is equally amazing. During all of her appointments I have shot the shit with the artists at the shop, and all the work that I've seen them produce is top notch as well. I also have not seen anybody leave the shop unhappy with the work, or customer service they've received. The shop definitely has a family feel to it, and everyone that works there (from what I have experienced) treats their clients with respect and cares about the work they are putting out. One of my best friends also decided to get a tattoo spur of the moment during one of my appointments and his tattoo came out great as well. David Steed was his artist, and it was my buddies first tattoo, and he couldn't be happier. Fair price, and he is a super nice dude! From a ladies perspective, my girlfriend absolutely loves going to get work done at Elm Street. Again, she was a little intimidated at first (as most are when they walk into a tattoo shop their first time), but all of the artists and staff have treated her respectfully. She constantly chats with Oliver and the other artists, and she has enjoyed every experience she's had there. We both feel like we are becoming part of the family. For people that are looking to get your first tattoo, I think Elm Street tattoo is an incredible place to go. When I look at places to get tattooed the first thing I do is look at who owns the shop/studio. Oliver Peck is an award winning tattoo artist who puts out extremely high quality work, and he is not going to hire artists into his shop that don't do the same. You can rest assured that any work you get there will be high quality, and any artist you work with will make you feel comfortable. Included some pictures of the work I've had done on my leg for reference.

Their merch is located at Heart in Hand gallery down the street.

Several years ago I had Billyjack do an improvement/cover-up to a tattoo I had got from a shop in…read moreNew Orleans. Then last week I went in for a new one. Neither of the designs were complicated or intricate...just some 3-5 inch ones. If you've seen Billyjack's Instagram page you know the man can do some pretty fabulous, complicated pieces so my stuff wasn't exactly anything that was automatically going to get his artistic juices flowing. And that's what I love about Billyjack. Even on when you give him a fairly simple concept, he'll make sure he makes it more and special. The most important thing he does in my opinion though is that he acts like a partner or a consultant, not just an artist who's going to execute the design you bring him. My experience down in New Orleans with the other shop was one where it was kind of like "whatever you want, man". I didn't need that, I needed a strong guiding hand and that's what I got with Billyjack. I threw out some ideas and he pretty much said what would and wouldn't work and then expanded on what would. Oh, and he's a blast to talk with. How many tattoos have you had where you and the artist have covered: dogs, kids (OK, those first 2 are pretty easy), rent relief policies during COVID and Roth IRA's. And laughing the whole time.

When I walked into the tattoo parlor, it looked clean, professional, and well put together. Based…read moreon the appearance alone, I felt confident I would receive good service. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience at all. The artist who worked on me seemed inexperienced, and the process didn't match what I was told. What should have taken around 30 minutes was discussed as taking several hours, which already felt off. In the end, I was charged $200 for a cover-up that I'm extremely unhappy with--especially since it's on my face. To make matters worse, the artist didn't follow through on what was promised. He said he would work on two tattoos but only did one, and even then, it wasn't what I asked for. I specifically wanted a design resembling stitches, but instead I was left with a large black feather on my head that I deeply regret. The environment also felt unprofessional. The staff came across as dismissive and made me feel judged for the tattoo ideas I wanted, which added to an already negative experience. Overall, I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and unhappy with both the service and the final result. I would not recommend this shop. Are there any tattoo shops in the area willing to help fix a bad face tattoo once it heals? I'm worried it might scar, and I'm trying to figure out my options. If anyone has experience with cover-ups or thinks removal would be a better route, please let me know. I'd really appreciate any advice or recommendations--this is something I'm stressing about and want to fix the right way. I'm not trying to bash the entire shop, because there seemed to be some talented artists there. However, I do want to warn others about my experience with one specific artist. The artist I worked with--whose name may be Ivan or Isaac--came across as confident, but in my opinion did not demonstrate the level of knowledge or experience I expected. For example, when I asked about certain techniques like blood shading, he didn't seem to understand what I was referring to. That raised concerns for me about his training and experience. Again, this does not reflect everyone at the shop, but based on my experience, I would personally not recommend working with that particular artist.

Not only did you give me what I wanted and more today, you also turned my day into not so great, to amazing. You are an incredible artist and a genuine and kind person and you will be my first recommendation to anyone that asks.... Don't ever change, you are going places. I have had plenty and several different tattoo experiences and yours has by far been the best. From the moment I walked in with the way your friend greeted me at the front desk, (shoot, from the moment I called the store) you two made me feel important and cared about. The fact that you have a personal sheet to fill out about personality to make each experience for each Individual unique and important is just something I haven't ever experienced before and something I won't ever forget. Never have I ever reached out to an artist to give them this much of an opinion about them or my experience but you truly made a stranger feel like family in a matter of a couple of hours and that's something that deserves to be pointed out.
