The Arborist with Arundel Tree came across as the most genuine, told us what needed to be done and what could wait. On top of that, their pricing seemed very competitive. Day of the job, the team arrived early with shiny new equipment, did a thorough pre-job confirmation and got to work. After the post-job walk-around, they mulched every branch and left the yard better than they found it. Highly recommended start to finish. My only gripe is the 3% markup on credit card payment... (At least let me earn those points!)

There was a bit of an upfront delay as I waited to ensure their license was shown as active on the MD DNR website, but that is resolved now. Once past that, the work crew was out to my house within a day and they had the tree down and removed within about two hours. The stump grinder arrived an hour or so later and took care of all the stumps effectively. Benfield Tree Service's cost was competitive and the work was performed to my satisfaction so they'll be the first company I contact for similar jobs in the future and I recommend them.

The crew showed up 15 minutes early today, and the estimator and I talked with the crew leader about specifics of the job which entailed trimming up, cleaning out unwanted growth and limbs in two 115+ year old willow oaks, and trimming up three 20' Japanese maple trees. They did exactly what we talked about, cleaned up as if they never touched my yard, and I would highly recommend them for tree services. They are by far the best tree service I've used to date.
