I was having problems with being increasingly more tired and not getting enough quality sleep in…read morethe last two years or so. Sleep study did not produce any definite diagnosis. Then I was recommended to visit Dr.Girgis. He took simple diagnosis steps. After my first visit I started noticing that I was breathing very unevenly, with obstructed flow on one side. On my second visit, Dr.Girgis pinpointed a suspicion and confirmed it with a quick CT scan showing an almost golf ball size cyst in my sinuses, as well as deviated septum. The cyst must had been growing slowly so I never detected a sudden change in my breathing. He recommended surgery to remove it and promised I will breathing much better afterwards. He advised that I will need to take a week off, and will take a few weeks to fully recover. I doubted that I will need a week off from my work, and we scheduled the procedure a few weeks afterwards. After surgery that went well and as planned (I was sleeping 3 hours or so), the healing process started. My nose kept bleeding but on the third day after surgery I experienced a short deep sleep that was the "Ah-ha! This is like it should be when you get a good night of sleep!" moment. I went back to work, and have aggravated my nose, and had difficult time coping with my constant nose bleeding that progressively slowly stopped by the 6th day. I was surprised when on the 6th day after surgery dr.Girgis pulled two 5 inch long plastic stems from my nostrils and a long draining tube... Hahaha. Two months after surgery my inner nose and its lining are almost normal, just a touch sensitive (well, the septum was cut and repositioned). At the end, it was all worth it. Girgis and all his staff were always very professional, and friendly. My breathing and quality of sleep has dramatically improved. And I got my life back, Big Thank You Dr.Girgis.

But then I was involved in a car accident that shifted my nasal septum even more causing my nose to look completely off. I went to Dr. Girgis & Associates so they can diagnose my nose. Dr. Girgis told me that with just the internal surgery I should notice a major difference in my breathing and my nose will look straight again. So I went ahead with the Surgery. The surgery went well and I recovered fast. The final outcome was YES I'm breathing much better but my nose still look slightly off but not as bad as before.

Two highly enthusiastic thumbs up!…read more I saw Dr. Jones today to ask about getting my tonsils removed. I've seen a lot of doctors in my life, and this might just have been my best doctor visit ever. Dr. Jones has the kindest demeanor you could ask for, and was extremely thorough in the warnings and information he gave me about the procedure. I actually felt like he listened to me and genuinely cared about my concerns and about my health. This is the kind of doctor you always wish you had. I'm actually kind of excited to come back for my surgery in January! How often can you say that?!? In short, if you're looking for an ear nose and throat doctor who is kind and competent and will treat you like a human being, look no further. This is your guy.

We were not informed by Dr. Jones or his staff that we would be charged for this 1-minute look in our nose. I repeatedly called Loyola and Dr. Jones' office to no resolve. Dr. Jones did not inform us that looking at our nose would cost $1300 or considered a surgery. If he said surgery I would have stopped right there and said no, I need to talk to my insurance company. I did ask him why since we had CT Scans why couldn't just look at that. He runs up the bill with charges we were not aware of. He will not return all phone calls. His office states the doctor has no idea that there are charges for various procedures. I'm questioning if this is a violation of the False Claims Act but Dr. Jones has not returned my calls to discuss this.

On my very first visit to Girgis, Dr. Sam spent more than an hour with me. He ordered a CT scan and a full blood panel (turns out I had a deviated septum and low antibody levels for several strains of pneumococcal bacteria, which no doctor had ever told me, or even tested for). Eventually, when we had the results, he patiently went over everything in detail, and recommended surgery. The surgery itself was very smooth and the recovery was straightforward. Two months later, it has been LIFE-CHANGING. I am breathing better and sleeping better. Before the surgery, I generally needed an antihistamine, a decongestant, and a nasal spray every day. I have not taken any of them--not even once--since the surgery. During the entire process, the whole staff--Dr. Sam, the nurses, the receptionists, and the billing department--were kind, patient, and always available to answer questions. Do not waste time going somewhere else. This is the best ENT you will find in the area.

It's 2026 and it has been decades since I was able to breathe freely in the Spring!…read more I can't say enough good things about Chicago Nasal and Sinus Center. From the very first visit, the entire staff has been consistently professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. I've been under their care since January 2025, and the improvement in both my symptoms and overall quality of life has been incredible. The front office and clinical staff run a smooth, organized practice, and you're always treated with respect and genuine care. Appointments are efficient without ever feeling rushed, and it's clear that patient comfort and outcomes truly matter here. A very special thank‑you to Amy Brussee, PA‑C, who has been overseeing my care. Amy is thorough, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. She listens, answers questions thoughtfully, and makes each visit feel personalized rather than transactional. I always leave confident that I'm in excellent hands. I also want to recognize Melanie, the nurse who administers my allergy shots. She is consistently kind, calm, and professional, and makes what could easily be an uncomfortable process incredibly easy and stress‑free. THANKS, MEL!! If you're looking for an allergist or sinus specialist in Chicago who combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion, I highly recommend Chicago Nasal and Sinus Center. They set the bar for what patient‑centered care should look and feel like.

Up until that point, I'd visited four different doctors for my medical issue and I was met with reactions varying from indifference to directly asking me if I was "making it up". Dr. Taylor and his team were the only ones who took my concerns seriously and actually listened to me. His on-duty clinical student (from Depaul University) was attentive and took notes on all the previous solutions I had tried that hadn't worked, and they did a vaginal swab test at my request. And lo and behold, I had a UTI! What I was describing to other doctors and the pain I was experiencing was not enough for them to believe me. But it only took one test from Dr. Taylor and one antibiotic prescription from him for me to get better. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Taylor and his team for actually listening to me and giving me faith in the medical system again.
