Then when you do your best to get your child on these early closing days you receive a call from the Director (Ann) informing you of the time and your late with a less than professional sigh!!! Now that they are in a school that is strong on compassion, character and competence (the motto), they are thriving. My son used to cry or play sick to try and get out of going to his public school. The happiness that I see in him now makes my heart feel so good and brings so much relief. My daughter loves having spanish everyday and swimming lessons at the Y. Both kids have probably learned more in the first 2 months at AOSJ than they learned at the public school in one year. They are very happy with the quick pace of learning and feel that they are finally being "seen" for who they are and the talents that they possess.
