She told me they were fantastic and didn't charge the earth. A couple of months later my dog was having breathing problems and I thought I would give them a try as I don't much care for the vet I normally use. Cedarwoods vets were fantastic nothing was too much trouble they respected my decision not to have her exrayed with her breathing being so bad (they would have had to put her to sleep to do this). We was going on holiday the following week if the dog was better and they managed to fit me in on the Monday morning to check her over before we went. I can't praise this Vets practice enough. Overall I had 8 visits with treatment on all but one visit and blood tests this was just short of £250-00 which I thought was excellent value. Well worth a visit if you need a friendly vet who doesn't charge the earth and is willing to spend time explaining things to you.

They have a quiet room with reptiles in. They also have a room with fish. In the shop they have all aquatic and reptile accessories like food, books, lighting, heating, decor and more. I informed them I had made the decisions on the day & paid for a individual cremation & paw print. When they checked my details, they confirmed I had. So, another 2 week wait as they had not done anything with my beloved pet, so 2 weeks later I called again - again, claimed to have left voicemail (they didnt) & said ashes & paw print had been ready for over a week to collect?? Upon collection, ashes had been placed in a sealed plastic bag, in a box, not in a scatter tube, which is what I asked for & paid for. They really do not seem to know what they are doing, no communication obviously between the staff team & do not appreciate being 'fobbed off' with claims of phone calls/voicemails that never happened. Made a very upsetting time even worse. Would never recommend them & would never use them again.

This is a pet shop that has a number of extremely heplful, friendly, kind and knowledgable staff…read more The shop itself is really a large warehouse and not old sells the obvious cat and dog food, but food and equipment for al sorts of creates - spiders, snakes, fish, chinchillas, chickens, ferrets and so very many more! They also sell small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, mice etc. As well as selling a vast array of feed and equipment, the shop allows in dogs on leads and other animals under control. There is a wide range of free car parking in front of the shop and the staff are also happy to carry things to the car.

An incredibly useful little pet shop is Baldwins as it sells pretty much anything you could want for the usual domestic pet and it is nice to be able to get these goods without the usual trip to a big pet department on an industrial estate. The shop holds an amazing array of goods and is quite deceptive in size as there is a second section to go into that is not immediately obvious on first entering. Also great are the adds on the window and noticeboard .. if you are looking to buy a pet, these adds really should be your first port of call!

The only problem I have had is that the live foods for reptiles etc never seems to be fresh and I end up having to go to another store to buy the insects. Also the staff seem limited in their knowledge of the reptiles, only one or two know abaout them and you can only buy a lizard etc if one of these are working! Also prefered the shop when it stocked birds. Not bad place for pet supplies though.
