Ah.. had high expectations because it looked so authentic but the elote had absolutely no flavor to it... it was so bland. The nachos were alright but seemed like those theater nachos you get that aren't that great. Lastly the horchata was so sweet i could not even drink it. It was way too heavy with cinnamon, then the entire cup broke. Also i think the price is pretty expensive as its from a food truck- paid 20$ for an elote a drink and a small bowl of nachos.

I really wanted some fruit and decided to give this place a try. It's in a section with a lot of fruits of fruits of food trucks. When I got there the menu and pictures are on the truck which I really liked. I went at 10 pm so when I was ordering the girl was kind of rude didn't explain what options I had. She did not tell me there was different sizes. I asked what was in the fruit cut she said the fruit you see in the refrigerator. She sold me the largest size but the cucumbers were not crunchy they were soft that was so nasty. The mangonada as the largest size they have but it didn't have much flavor. I was adding hot sauce lemon and salt that were outside the truck the self serve kind and one of the girls started putting them in as she saw I was fixing my fruit. They were talking to each other about a guy. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience spent $21 on fruit and a mangonada felt a little robbed. I probably wouldn't return or recommend this place.

Food truck in the Texaco gas's station parking lot. The elote tastes fresh and definitely not canned. It has generous amounts of Mayo and cheese and they have a ton of different hot sauces and spices you can freely add to your items. We also got a Diablito; the ice was a little rough, kind of like you would expect from cheaper snow ones and the flavor was all chamoy. I wasn't a big fan but they have a ton of things that look so good! Average price per item is ~$5. They accept cash and the service is relatively quick. Would go back and would recommend!

Everything was soooo good! Highly recommend!!! Definitely think they'd have much more potential to grow as a business if they were to move to a different location. Regardless one of the best Elotes and drinks were sooo refreshing, definitely coming back for more!!!

I was so excited to try this place. We ordered a banana split, jumbo elotes cup, mega nachos and a horchata. I tried to order tamales but they didn't have any. I enjoyed the nachos but could have done without all the crema. Be forewarned they use nacho cheese sauce, not real shredded cheese in their nachos. I was so disappointed in the elote. It didn't taste like the corn had been grilled and there was way too much mayo for me. I think they use powdered Parmesan cheese instead of cotija and they didn't include a lime wedge or anything or add chili powder. I think I was supposed to add it myself but with The Rona, I didn't think it would be a good idea to touch the bottles with seasonings and hot sauces. I don't plan to return. My boyfriend did enjoy his banana split though.

Had nachos and small elote cup and both were great ! I'd come again ...wish they had fans in the sitting area

I tried them out for the first time and I'm impressed ! The service was mucho bueno and the corn tasted so fresh . I will definitely be visiting them again Keep up the good work

I bit into something thinking it's mango. BUT IT WAS CRUNCHY SO I WAS LIKE WTF AND IT WAS A FLY?!?!?!?!?!?

I was hoping for plain white corn but got sweet yellow corn. The salsas offered TOTALLY made up for it, and service was great. :)

You could find a wonderful selection of food & drinks vendors, like Moi Vietnamese grill. Mom & Pops popsicles. Connor's creamery. Garbo's. Ding tea. Citrus refreshments. Weh? Asian fusion. Shoyu Sugar is Hawaiian grill and a favorite amongst visitors. Boba bites and tea, had their very first event and are in the process of opening their shop soon. A business to be continued, as I love their teas! Dash realty was there too with a bean bag toss, giving out balloons and candy. Cutco with their knives. Ten thousand villages had some beautiful fair trade goodies. All vendors had quite a long line. Moi's customers faced a long time in the burning Sun, but Asians love food! Weh? Sold out within 2 hours! The DJ's supplied great vibes inside the VUKA building, which is modern, spacious, air-conditioned, a great place for events. It hosted the space for a Limbo race, and crafting paper fans by 'open eyes beyond border' for the Lil' ones. The event would take place all day, and it is a hot day. A great event! The dragon dance was very much entertaining. People had their dollar bills ready! Oh, how we love to feed the dragon to get luck and prosperity! Yes, yes, Chinese dragons are believed to have control over water, rain, hurricanes and floods. They also represent power, strength and good luck. The Chinese believe that performing the dragon dance during festivals and celebrations drives away evil spirits and ushers in good luck and blessings for the community.

Wow I am…read moreso happy I saw someone post about this food truck on instagram because I was able to go eat a Sonoran hotdog on a hot fresh bun with all the fixings. You can also get a chilli upon request which I highly recommend. The owner is so friendly and talkative. He is definitely passionate about Sonoran hotdogs and being a small business owner. There is parking available and he has such a cute patio set up with Arizona memorabilia. He has fans running and the music playing. I can't wait to come back for another Sonoran hotdog! Yee haw!

It was my first time trying Sonoran hot dogs so it was a lot to take in with the different flavors in every bite. It's very much a loaded hot dog and has all the yummy ingredients you'd want with the birria soup on the side to dip. Very tasty, the bacon wrapped hot dog was really good on its own, but put together, you have yourself a savory flavor bomb in your mouth. Their fries are also something to rave about. The sauce has a nice garlic flavor with some heat kick to it. Their agua fresca was very refreshing, they change the flavor on a weekly basis. I would like to return to try their burritos and tacos. This is a food truck but there is a covered outdoor seating area with several tables and chairs nearby.

Austin Restaurant Week takes place from August 28th through September 13th. First stop...Rollin Smoke BBQ, located in the Chalmers building, which filled with a crowd of people. I ordered a pull pork sandwich, mac-n-cheese and banana pudding. The pulled pork sandwich was huge, which I shared with the hubs. Quite honestly, I was full after eating 1/4 of the sandwich, which had cabbage, pickles and of course the pork (not the typical stringy pork but chunks of pork bursting with smokey flavor). The mac-n-cheese was substantial with cheese filled shell pasta with a hint of a smokey flavor. So yummy...Well, I might have eaten "all" the banana pudding. This was not your typical banana pudding (dense and flavorful). I certainly understand why they run out of this dessert. Service was superb! Great dining experience...

I order a very nice lite afternoon snack, 1/2 lb of Prime Pork Belly Burnt Ends, 1 Pork Sparerib, and a side of Boozy Brussels. The Prime Pork Belly Burnt Ends which are tossed in bourbon sauce and smoked again for a tender meat candy-like finish which was quite to the contrary, not overbearingly sweet, just a hint. The first time that I went to Rollin' Smoke, I wanted to order the Pork Spareribs but they weren't available so that's when I was introduced to the Pork Belly Burnt ends so today, I ordered just 1 Pork Sparerib today which was good but not great, sadly. I thoroughly enjoyed the Boozy Brussel Sprouts which were smoked and flashed fried, a balsamic glaze with whiskey soaked raisins and parmesan. I am definitely returning to check out the Half Chicken Plate with 2 small sides that I eyeballed.
