My running shoes are worn by toe area and I like Ascics a lot. They don't carry Ascics. I tried on Brooks (uncomfortable) and these other Nike shoes. The white ones I found were most comfortable. I wore them walking when I got home and I had the wrong socks on. They were uncomfortable. Today I had my Feetures socks on and did the 5K and it was better. With 20% off and being marked down, they still were $95.00. Oh well, YOLO.

This season, the Minnesota Wild released a retro clothing and accessories line. At first, I was indifferent. I then got a retro Wild t-shirt that was more green than yellow and I love it. I recently was looking for a retro Wild cap. Naturally, I was late to the party. The Hockey Lodge, where I normally get my Wild apparel, didn't have any. I did a search online and found that Dick's Sporting Goods did. Most folks can order online and pick up their order at a specified store. Because I am not an American with a physical U.S. address and an American credit card, I can't do it. Instead, I looked online and found that this store in Richfield had four retro caps available. Yay! I drove over to this store on a Monday night. It was roughly a ten-minute drive from where I was staying in Bloomington. There was a ton of parking. I parked and walked into the store. This Dick's store is huge. Luckily, there was a male staffer when I first walked in, greeting everyone. "Hello! Is there anything that I can help you with?" he asked me. "Hi! Yes. I'm looking for a retro Minnesota Wild cap," I said. "You want to go up the escalator, turn left, and walk straight ahead until you see the Wild section," he said. "Thanks so much!" I replied and followed his instructions. He saved me a ton of time. This store has two floors. I would have walked the entire first floor before heading up to the second floor to find what I was looking for. He was a saint in Dick's apparel. His directions were perfect. I found the Wild section and the cap that I wanted. The colours matched my retro t-shirt. The cap was adjustable for my big noggin. I loved it. I'm not sure if I want a retro Wild jersey. I invested in a jersey from last year's winter classic. I love that one so much that I don't really need another one. I loved walking around this store, relieved that I found what I was looking for. I don't have any Twins or Timberwolves attire. I still don't. I didn't see anything that I wanted. This store has a nice selection of Crocs. Sadly, I didn't find a purple pair in my size. What was cool was seeing Birkenstocks in EVA material, which makes them lightweight and waterproof. On The Jason Show, Jason highly recommended these sandals. You don't need to break into them like you do with traditional Birkenstocks. I found a lavender pair in my size. Yay! My feet felt comfy wearing them in the store. I had to get them. I had the best woman at the cashout area. I couldn't remember whether I had signed up for rewards. She checked and I hadn't. She went ahead and signed me up for free. For my ZIP code, I went with my old Rochester address. "It makes sense that you are shopping here. The Rochester location recently closed," she noted. First, I had no idea that Rochester had a Dick's. Second, I didn't know that it was closed. I do now! I paid with a credit card. All went well. Whenever I shop at Dick's, I simply state my phone number before I paid for my items and I earn points. I had the best experience at this store. I'd return again if I need more Birks or Wild merchandise. (61)

I saw some cute Bondi 9's. I researched Hoka website and they are a neutral shoe, but will work for overpronation, which my friend says I have. They were comfortable walking in the shoe dept. I also needed a new cover for my thrift store Stanley. I did score 20% off. What bothers me is they say they have a military discount but supposedly this store doesn't do that. Scheels offers 5% off. I'm glad I had a 20% discount for these spendy $174 shoes. Hope they are comfortable for my new side fun job this summer. I will be walking a lot and enjoying concerts.

Brad in the golf area basically stepped on the top of the putter with his filthy shoes when he tried to Aline the new grip. There was another guy in the golf area I told him you could see the shoe prints on the top of the 2 ball putter. He tried to clean it off the best he could. There is still debris in the ball on the putter. I called to talk to the manager. Basically the employee lied and told the manager that he didn't step on the putter. The manager basically told me since I didn't buy the putter there they really couldn't do much! then said bye. I'll never go back!

I don't know if they were trying to pull off the Bass Pro Shops idea or what but it really didn't work. We went in looking for hockey equipment and the selection here was incredibly limited, which is surprising considering the area. My husband was looking for higher end stuff, and of course they didn't really have very many options for what little they carried. I guess this place would get the job done if you have to gear up a little kid, but to be honest spending the kind of money they were asking for the level of equipment they have seems pretty silly to me. The employee that we had to hunt down for help was not very useful at all, and it was obvious he didn't know much about the equipment that was in the section he worked in. You could tell he knew enough to retail sale, but not really recommend. In any case, Play It Again Sports is a better option close by.
