so my mom sent me to tami because my face was riddled with blackheads and acne (ugh tmi but how…read moreelse can you review skincare?) and even though i'm basically usually ok with looking like a schlub, even i had finally had enough. her room has relaxing spa music and a plush green blanket over a heated table, and omg she is so thorough. i've gone twice now, and "deep cleaning" is no joke. she knows her stuff, she's highly professional, and she will clean every last pore on your face. the first time i had a lactic acid peel that she made with a mixture of fresh fruit... apparently this is how they do it in russia? idk but it smelled/felt great and i looked like a new (much cleaner, more attractive, generally improved) person afterwards. i also had my eyebrows + upper lip done last time - i'd never been waxed before, so i was kinda scared, but she was really quick, my eyebrows are so good even male family members are complimenting me (!!), and i had barely any swelling or redness later that day. and my skin is really sensitive! in conclusion, i'm really pro-tami, and like, so is everyone who has to look at my face.

Before I ever lived in NY, I heard about how Bonnie gives "the best facials in existence" from my entire family. No surprise that she has all 5 star reviews on Yelp. The experience was somehow even better than anticipated. Bonnie is a real master of her craft. She can and will restore even the most inflamed irritates and stressed out skin. She has all the knowledge and training of from her years working in dermatology, her expertise is clear, but so is her CARE. She cares for her clients and their skin. Also she is so kind and sweet. We did a deep cleaning (because my skin needed it!) A peel and LED light therapy. With Blue and red light. The Blue kills the bacteria and red heals the skin and its anti aging, but with one treatment you get a nice glow. While I don't care much about having a tan, I do value the bacteria zapping benefits and found the warm light to be very relaxing. Can't tell you how bad my skin has been due to stress and masks etc., It feels really wonderful to have my skin deeply and thoroughly cleaned by a professional. Not only does my skin feel and look better, I feel more relaxed. Bonnie also gave me tips to improve my skin care regimen, let me know my current moisturizer is clogging my pores, but suggested a few to try and even wrote out a very helpful post-facial care summary for me! Bonnie was so lovely and so careful. She had a mask and visor on, every patient completes a COVID safety form *before* their appointment and theres plenty of hand sanitizer and extra masks when you get there. I had a few painful ear pimples from mask wearing and Bonnie got them (without me having to she did cleaned every zit behind my ears under my chin on along my hairline). She also gave me a clean mask to wear home! Bring an extra mask so you don't have to put your dirty mask on your newly cleaned face! She does have plenty extra in case you forget. I know times are stressful and tough right now, but if you've been thinking about prioritizing your self-care and skincare, I couldn't recommend Bonnie enough!

Toward the back, near the changing rooms, you'll find a smaller reception area. This location is especially great if you're curious about Life Time Fitness or just want to get a day pass. When I arrived, the clothes were already prepared for me, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. They also had a balm station afterward to help you rehydrate and refresh. I tried the new "Power Up" massage, which was more of a full-body experience rather than focusing on just one area -- a great quick reset. The headrest area had a disposable towel that gets swapped out for each guest, which felt clean and hygienic overall.
