We wanted her to have the thicker straight brows. But we ended up with thinner and arched. I wouldn't want to go to her myself after just the fact that she didn't listen to us. Almost all the color came off 2-3 weeks after the first session so her ink doesn't seem all that good. I would always suggest to do the combo with gradation/shading or whatever she may call it. After my moms 2nd session alot of the color came off and looks weird and spotty. She's probably going to say it's bc she's older. But then, she just shouldnt have done it for her then. Gisselle only spent about 15 to 20 minutes on tattooing the lines. She didn't do any measurements to ensure symmetry. She pretty eyeballed on the shapes. After $1500 spent on a one day course with a few missing parts, I recommend looking at other companies before parting with money on this course. To start, the "owner" was a bit impatient, rude and snarky during the zoom session when asked questions, etc. The kit did not include the highly recommended cleanser but the owner told us we needed it and not to use any other cleansers. The kit did include two tint tubes which I was told that I could ship back for a credit for the cleanser that should have been in the kit to begin with, to ensure that the product worked effectively. The class did not teach brow shaping and the response from the owner was to charge the client $300 for the Lash Lift & Brow Lamination but send the client somewhere else to get them shaped? This is unethical and laughable and I am glad that after 6 years in the industry, I already know how to shape a brow but for students like the young lady in my class who didn't, this is not ok. The company had no videos to reference each step, which is essential when learning a new technique. I understand keeping things proprietary, however the success of the student who just spent $1500 should take precedent over secrecy. For those who are visual learners, having to email for help or just a manual to read, isn't sufficient support for troubleshooting. The company just changed its glue recipe and the newer glue should have been tested before release because according to the students in the Facebook group, I am not the only one having a hard time working with the newer product. All in all, my experience as a recent (October 2020) student has not been a good one and if I could go back to the moment before me paying for this course and going with another company, I would.
