After years of going to Elysium and tipping them every time, my wife went today and was told the price for just an express pedicure. Afterward, they told her it was five dollars more for removing gel polish. She didn't have any money but what they quoted her. No check card. No credit card. Asked if they took checks. No. Told them she could go to the bank and get it and be right back. They told her she couldn't leave until she paid the extra five dollars. Thank God another lady stepped up and paid it for her. I absolutely love this place and have gone many times. However, this time I was extremely disappointed with the girl who did my toes. She did great until they had walk in's. Although I had an appointment she rushed to get me out of the way. She did not smooth out my polish, leaving it clumpy. She also missed several spots on my toes. She forgot to put on topcoat so my toes were quickly ruined as soon as I walked out the door. She did a very poor job for me having to pay $35. read more

Elysium was so horrible to me!!!! I was to have back surgery and was on pain medicine and they complained because I was almost falling asleep. Well, I explained them my condition and of course they could not talk to you in English or even have a conversation with you. The told me we no do and you leave. I was horrified, embarrassed and had about 3 nails worked on and 7 just left the same as when I came in. NEVER USE THEM!!! read more

Prices were comparable to what I'm used to paying in the DFW area, but the service and attentiveness was light years ahead. I'm here on business and one thing I've noticed about Texarkana is that they have A LOT of nail salons. So how does one choose which one to go to? I initially went to the one closest to me. I sat in the chair and then promptly walked out. It didn't feel right and it wasn't very nice. So, I went on to Yelp and found this salon. Loved it. The people were friendly and she did a great job. I would recommend it for sure. It wasn't quite what I was used to in DFW, but the staff more than made up for it. read more

This is my favorite spa and I love all of the workers. This is the ONLY spa in the area that follows ALL of the cleaning rules provided by the state. They also do very relaxing jobs and can understand them very well so you can have conversations. They are ALL certified! read more

My friend and I walked in to get a pedicure here. It was our first time so we weren't sure what to expect. But, everyone was very friendly and there was no problem that we didn't have an appointment. We didn't have to wait at all. Everything was nice and clean and it smelled great inside, not like chemicals and fumes like some salons. Each spa station had a new liner that I watched them put into the tub, and they opened brand new utensil packages to clip our nails and do the work, etc. Very hygienic. We did the "Green Tea" pedicure which is their cheapest option at $35 which I felt was a very reasonable price, and even though it was their minimum option, it included a lot of perks; the pedicure service, as well as a foot and calf massage, steam towel treatment, salt scrub and lotion, and even bottled water. We both loved how our pedicure turned out, and were both very happy with the service here and will definitely return. read more
